I was about to take a step outside of the palace when my sweet, innocent and loving mate mindlink me.

"If you take another step away from me then you will never get to see my face again." I halted my step and looked around to see her but she was nowhere. Her warning was enough to shudder my soul.

"Come back to our room and don't you dare refuse," Alice growled. I could feel she was enraged about something.. I gulped and went back to our room. She welcomed me with a glare sitting on the bed. I passed her smile despite from inside I was feeling like my heart was in my mouth. However, I took my step towards her.

"Pearl" I took my steps back when she stood up from bed. In this world, I'm not afraid of anything but her anger. She doesn't get mad at me easily but when she does because of my stupidity, she gives me harsh punishment which is unbearable for me.

"Patrick told me what happened on the battlefield" I looked at her, widening my eyes and then cursed my beta, who has a blabbermouth.

"Dare you to curse him. I asked him about your whereabouts" She said, knowing me more than myself. "I came to know Alexander ran away," She said in a numb voice.

"I'm sorry. I failed you again" I shut my mouth and bowed my eyes when she again glared at me.

"Why do you have to blame yourself for everything?" I can feel she is frustrated because of me.

"Will you look at me?" I look into her eyes, which are filled with love. "How can you be this careless Aaron?"

"I'm sorry. I didn't know that Alexander would run"

"I'm talking about that asshole," She interrupted me. I look at her confusingly. "How could you?" She holds my collar and moves closer to me.

"When you should be with me, holding our pups and enjoying this precious moment, You were wasting your time and energy by blaming yourself. How could you do this to me?" She asked and then attached her lips to mine. I closed my eyes, feeling her immense love in that kiss. I respond to her kiss with the same intensity and love.

"I love you" I muttered, opening my eyes, when she parted away from me and held her, encircling my hands around her waist.

"Why? Why do you let those bastard words affect you? how could you doubt your love for me?"

"He wasn't wrong completely, Pearl. I accused you of cheating without giving you a chance to speak"

"For god sake, Aaron you're a human, not a god. Everyone makes mistakes. I agree you did wrong but you realised your mistake and we are together now."

"But I hurt you and this thing is eating me from inside" Tears rolled from my eyes.

"You were in much more pain than me when you said those words to me. If those words hurt me then I know it would have hurt you a thousand times more when you realise the truth. It was just a misunderstanding, Aaron. I'm not justifying your actions. you did wrong with me. Even I tried to hate you for pushing me away from you that night but I couldn't because I knew if you were wrong then I was also not a saint. If your mistake was 60% then 40% was mine. It was a situation which separated us." I wiped her tears lovingly, understanding what she was trying to say.

"And don't forget I hurt you a thousand times before coming into this relationship. If you're punishing yourself for hurting me then punish me as well" I shook my head negatively. She cupped my face and wiped my tears. "Aaron we are human, we make mistakes and what did I tell you? If you want to punish yourself for me then do it in my way." I look into her eyes. "Your punishment is to adore me till eternity. Love me so much in compensation that the harsh memories of that day got erased from our hearts"

"I'm sorry. I don't know what happened to me. I came into Stan's words and started thinking I'm toxic for you"

"You're not toxic for me. It's your boundless love that made you think you're toxic for me just because you hurt me once. You did wrong and I won't justify it but you are my right one, Aaron. You hurt me once but loved me insanely. You give me so many precious moments. Most importantly you give me a reason to live this life." She joined my forehead with her.

"Thank you for making me understand and stopping me from doing another stupidity" I muttered with a big smile which didn't last long and I felt my cheek burn because of a tight slap from her.

"How dare you think of going away from me?" She growled and then slapped my right cheek.

"Why are you slapping me?" I kept both hands on my cheeks shockingly.

"You made a hobby of overthinking and going on trips of guilt. Today I will teach you such a lesson that the next time the thought of going away from me comes into your mind then your soul will tremble." My eyes widened upon hearing her. "You will never dare to think of leaving me after remembering the punishment I'm going to give you"

"Pu--Punishment" I stuttered.

"Yes... Punishment" She smirked.

"Listen... It's a crime. You can't hit your innocent husband like this. I will file a case of assault against you"

"You will file a case against me… Fine, go… Do it" she showed me the way towards the door. "But wait... what will you tell the cops that I hit a powerful man like you? Would anyone believe a slim girl like me smite a hulk like you in a room?" She asked to move closer to me.

"This is wrong, Pearl… You know I won't do anything in defence. You're doing" Before I could complete she again smacked my arm then picked a pillow from the bed and started hitting me continuously. I tried to run away from her but she didn't give me a chance. She was hitting me continuously while Rex was laughing at my misery.

"Don't laugh. I will teach you a bigger lesson than this when we morphed into wolves" Alice mindlink Rex whose eyes widened upon hearing her warning. He immediately hid himself as if Alice was entering into my mind to hit him. I smiled realising I was not the only one who would be punished.

"I can't believe that you're smiling instead of apologising" Aana frowned and threw the pillow on the ground.

"No…I mean I wasn't smiling."

"You were not smiling?" she raised her eyebrow, giving me a chance to accept it.

"I was smiling but not because I wasn't guilty. It's just Rex was laughing at my situation and then he hid himself like a coward when Alice threatened her." I bowed my eyes, knowing she was digging a hole in my head.

"So you were smiling because Rex will also get punished" I nod my head.

"The thought that I'm not the only one who is getting scolded brought a smile of satisfaction to my face" I muttered and looked at her, only to find her glaring at me.

"You know what, no matter how much we say or smack you, it won't affect you. After all, you're a werewolf king. You won't learn any lesson like this' ' She said. my eyes went on my treasures which looked bigger as she crossed her hands around her chest.

"Fuck" I cursed and started feeling horny, thinking of sucking off her boobs which might be producing milk right now.

"Look at me" She held my chin and made me look into his eyes when I refused to follow her order.

"You wanted to get away from me, right?" She asked. I shook my head in a negative and opened my mouth to say something when she beat me.

"Don't lie and answer in yes and no"

"I was," I mumbled.

"Congratulations… You're free to go" I look at her dumbstruck.

"What do you mean by you're free to go?" I almost yelled.

"You wanted to go right? go.. because now I'm not going to talk to you until you learn the lesson"

"What?" I almost screamed. She smirked seeing my reaction and then went towards the bed.

"Pearl, you can't do this with me" I argued but she ignored me as if I wasn't in a room.

"Moon goddess… Where the hell am I stuck." I whimper, knowing I'm going to get the worst punishment of my life.
