I opened my eyes when I heard the voice of my pups crying.

"Thanks to the moon goddess, you regain consciousness. Your baby girl is crying for you" Marry muttered. I smiled and tried to sit feeling a little weak. That's when a nurse came near me and helped me. Alice healed me using her power but the injections that the doctor gave me during my surgery still had an effect on me.

Marry came towards me holding my both pups. My baby girl was crying continuously while the boy was silent and looking around. I raised my hands towards her, eagerly wanting to take my pups in my arms. She carefully placed both of them in my arms. Tears rolled from my eyes when I saw both of my pups together. I can't express the feeling of holding them in my arms in words. It's magical. My princess stopped crying the moment she came into my arms while my boy made a crying face as he was waiting for this moment and complaining to me that I took a long time.

"My babies" I cried feeling overwhelmed and kissed my baby girl's forehead and then baby boy's forehead.

"Don't" I muttered anxiously when Marry was about to remove her hand from below pups.

"What happened, Luna?"

"Don't remove your hand. What if I accidentally lose my grip and they fall? They are so soft and tiny. please don't" She chuckled at my words and kissed my forehead.

"You will never harm them. A mother can never do that" I look at my pups who were looking at me with beautiful eyes.

"Thank you for making me a mother. Thank you so much" I sobbed and again kissed their small forehead. My baby boy started crying. I shook my arm to make him calm like Marry

did a while before but he was crying continuously.

"What happened? Why is he crying?" I asked Marry.

"He must be hungry. It's my mistake. I should have asked you to feed both the pups first." She muttered. I look at my pups. My baby girl was giving me an irritating look at my prince crying as if she was not crying a while before. I chuckled seeing this brother and sister's cute expressions.

Marry helped me in breastfeeding both my pups. I look at them with a smile and teary eyes. It feels so special. This feeling is ineffable. After feeding them, Marry taught me how to burp babies. She attached my baby girl to her chest and tapped on her back lightly. I did the same with my baby boy and tapped on his back lightly and then made him lay on the bed when he slept in my arms while my baby girl was waiting for me to hold her patiently. I took her in my arms and started talking to her. After a while, she joined her brother in a dream. I made her lay on the bed and lay down as my back was arching.

"Why didn't you heal me completely?" I asked Alice.

"Ohh.. You remember me. I thought you forgot my existence." She scoffed. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Moon goddess knows there was not a day when I didn't miss you, Alice. Believe me or not the happiness I felt when you showed your presence is the same as when I saw my first pups. I can't even decide what makes me happier, that you're alive or that I'm alive and able to feel the joy of holding my pups." I said and a tear rolled from my eyes.

"Please don't cry and dare you to make me emotional with your words." She said in a dramatic tone. I can feel even she is enraptured that everything falls into place.

"I tried to heal you as much as I could, Aana. I need energy first to completely heal you." She said in a weak tone, making me realise that my body weakness affects her as well. She used almost all her energy to save me while giving birth to our pups.

"I'm sorry because of me you have faced a lot and now this weakness" I muttered, feeling guilty after seeing her drained face.

"Don't worry with time and a good diet, we will both recover and be healthy" She said, motivating me. I smile and nod my head.

"They are so cute!" I broke mindlink and looked at Marry who was staring at my pups with love like a grandmother. "Did you notice something, Aana?" She asked and turned her head towards me.

"Notice what?"

"Your pups are so understanding and intelligent. They didn't trouble you like other pups. When you were sleeping, our princess was crying for you while our prince was waiting patiently. Not only this, when you were putting your boy to sleep, your doll was waiting patiently until you got free. They didn't trouble you like other twin pups'' A big smile appeared on my face. I kiss my both pups. Marry's words remind me of something…

#flashback

"I'm afraid Aaron. How are we going to handle our twin pups?" I asked anxiously, looking at the video of twins in which they both cry, drink milk, poop, and do everything together. It is so terrifying.

"Relax… My pups are smart like me" I look at him and raise my eyebrow. "I mean our pups will be smart like you and don't worry, I already told them not to trouble you but love you with everything like I do" He rubbed his nose with mine, bringing a smile to my face. He took my hand in his hands.

"Why fear when your hero is here." I laughed at his cheesy line. "We both will raise them together," he said, again making me feel blessed to have a mate like him.

#Present

I look at my pups who didn't trouble me even for once and love me just like their father

"I'm blessed to have a mate like your father and now moon goddess blessed me with you two as well. I'm over the moon." I muttered looking at my pups and kissed their small hands.

"I'm going to make soup for you. Till then enjoy your time with your pups" Marry said and left the room. I look at my babies who are sleeping peacefully. My baby boy's eyes look like her father's. By father, I remember Aaron who didn't show up till now. I'm sure Marry informed him about us.

"Do you remember Aaron visiting us when Eva was operating you?" Alice asked. I nod my head as U clearly remember how he told me to keep fighting for our love. A smile broke on my lips.

"He must be busy with war," Alice muttered sadly. "He should be with us at this moment to hold our pups or better to kiss us" I chuckled at her words.

"Same here.. Even though I want him to hold me" Alice whimpers like a pup. " He is not only our mate, Alice. He is the alpha of this pack and it is his duty to protect it." I muttered, trying to make her understand and my heart which wanted him despite every situation.

"Don't be upset. War must be over till now. Let me ask him where he is" I said to cheer her up.

"No...Don't mindlink him. What if he was busy with something important and we ended up disturbing him? You know how smart our mate is. He will get to know we are missing him then he won't miss a second to show his handsome face. " I laughed at the choice of her words which led to disturbance in my princess sleep. I kept my hand on my mouth immediately when I saw her moving her small hand while making a crying face. with another hand, I tap on her chest.

"We should mindlink beta to know what our mate is doing" she suggested when our princess slept again.

"Patrick" I mindlink him.

"Congratulations Luna... I was waiting for the moment when you would mindlink me and I will congratulate you. I can't wait to hold the prince and princess in my arms."

"Thank you for your warm wishes but how do you know that I will mindlink you?" I asked.

"Because I know my friend. He will not return to pack until his anger calms down which is next to impossible for a few days" I scrunched my eyebrow at his words.

"I didn't get anything, Patrick. Why is he angry?" He started explaining everything that happened in the playground. tears fell from my eyes when I heard Alexander's name. He has gone insane in his ego. I look at my pups in fear. Patrick told me how Alexander ran away from the battlefield and Aaron caught his beta who ended up spilling beans. Alexander's beta, Stan, was the one who created a misunderstanding between me and Aaron. I closed my eyes to control my anger then opened them when Patrick told me how Aaron gave him the death he deserved. Based on what Patrick told me, Aaron might have gone on a guilt trip after hearing Stan's stupid allegation. He already blames himself for whatever happened between us and now Stan's words might have made him feel worse and my guess was not wrong as I felt Aaron's emotions. He is indeed feeling guilty for the mistakes we both made in our relationship.

Whatever happened between us was both of our mistakes, then we both are guilty. If I have suffered then he also suffered a lot. If I was in pain because my mate accused me of cheating then he was also not happy, thinking that the person whom he loves has cheated on him. This misunderstanding gives us equal pain. I know he should have given me a chance but then he is human at the end and every person makes mistakes. If I forgot him then why is he punishing himself?

I clutched my hair frustratingly, unable to understand what I should do or not. My eyes went to my baby girl whose one glance was enough to calm me. I smile and kiss her forehead.

"Aaron" I mindlink him to talk and thankfully he responded. The strange thing was he was acting normal as if nothing happened while talking to me. Still, I called him near me. After waiting for half an hour. I finally felt his presence near me. I looked in the front mirror, only to find him staring at me with a smile but then his expression changed into guilt. He took his steps back and his action was enough for me to realise what he was up to. He is trying to get away from me taking Stan's words easily but he forgot I'm Mrs. Aana Aaron Smith who knows how to bring a person on the right path. I smirked while imagining the thing I was going to do with this stupid. It's going to be so fun.
