We all started walking towards the wild pack while crossing the green forest. Patrick was walking ahead of me and Marry while Aaron was behind. So that if anyone attacked me and Marry then they were ahead to dodge the attack. I stopped in mid and took the support of a tree. This is the fifth time I've stopped in the past half an hour.

"This isn't going to work. If we walk like this then it will be hard to reach the pack till tomorrow" Patrick muttered frustratingly. Aaron glared at him and then made me sit on the ground.

"You want something?" He asked.

"Water" I muttered and took a deep breath feeling exhausted. He nodded his head and made me drink water from a bottle with his hand then wiped my face with his handkerchief.

"She is weaker than I thought, '' Marry said. Aaron looked at her side but didn't say anything and then turned his head towards me.

"Don't worry, I will not die before giving birth to our pups" He growled at my response, making me flinch. I bow my eyes knowing I pissed him off by saying those words. I turned my head towards Marry when she caressed my head lovingly.

"She will fight with everything, Aaron. Don't worry" I scrunched my eyebrow at her words. Aaron looks at her side.

"She has suffered a lot in her life" Tears brimmed in my eyes upon hearing her words remembering whatever happened in the past.

"How do you know?" Words escaped from my mouth before I could have controlled them.

"Aaron's grandma had to go through a lot before giving birth to Aaron's mother, a healer. Being parents of a healer is not an easy job, Aana. Healer is a powerful weapon and if it goes into the wrong hands then that person can destroy the world. "That's not the point, Pearl. Why does the moon goddess make you suffer all that when I'm with you" He growled and stood up.

"Where are you going?"

"I don't know"

"What?" he didn't wait to respond and took his steps in another direction, not knowing where.

"Aaron stop" I stood up and went behind him.

"Aaron, you know I can't run," I yelled, trying to match his speed. He was roaming like a hulk.

"Aaron stop" I again called him but he didn't stop nor even look at me. I sighed and took a deep breath, knowing I couldn't catch him like this. His speed is two times that of mine and I can't run while carrying two pups inside me. I was looking at his side when an idea popped into my mind.

"Aah" I screamed and sat on the ground, holding my stomach. He turned upon hearing my scream and then ran towards me.

"Pearl" he screamed and sat beside me. I turned my expression to normal while he was looking at me from head to toe to see if there was any injury.

"What happened? Why did you scream?" he asked, getting panicked and by seeing him like this I started regretting pranking.

"Why are you not answering? Why you" He clamped up when I bowed my eyes and held my ears.

"Aana" he grits his teeth realising I was pranking him. He was about to stand up when I held his hand.

"If you again start walking at a Hulk speed then I have to run behind you." He glared at me. I rolled my eyes and left his hand. He stood up.

"Don't blame me afterwards if my scream turns into reality." He narrowed his eyes. "What? I'm not blackmailing you. I'm just stating the possibility. What if I run behind you and get fall"

"Aana" he growled, making me flinch.

"Stop uttering nonsense" he yelled. I closed my eyes in fear and a tear rolled from my eyes. In the next moment, I felt his hand, wiping my tears. I opened my eyes and looked at him with teary eyes.

"Please don't say something which is like a nightmare for me. If something happens to you and our pups then I will lose my sanity, Pearl" he muttered. I nod my head understanding his worry for me.

"You were not listening to me that's why I prank you but I promise I will not repeat this mistake." I hold his both ears. "I'm sorry"

"What is the way of saying sorry" he laughed and removed my hand from his ear.

"You only say you're mine so what's the difference if I hold my ears or yours"

"Wow.. what a logic you applied"

"Am I wrong?"

"No... how can you be wrong?" I rolled my eyes at his mocking reply. He pulled my cheeks while chucking.

"You're always right, my queen. I'm all yours" He said, kissing my left cheek, bringing a smile to my face.

"Aaron" I hold his hand in my hands. "Marry was not wrong. She is right, Aaron. Moon goddess is indeed making me strong"

"But what was the need for it when I'm with you?" He argued.

"You were not with me for the last 1.5 months, Aaron. I was leaving my life alone" He looked at me dumbstruck, not expecting that I would say something like this. I tightened my grip on his hand.

"You can't always be with me, Aaron." tears rolled from my eyes. "That day I called you twice from the public booth but you didn't pick up. I'm not blaming you. It was not your fault. It was the way of the moon goddess to make me fight for myself." I wiped my tears.
