George was looking at Aaron with fearful eyes. Aaron leaned towards his face and clutched George's hair in the same way as George clutched mine, making him whimper in pain.

"How dare you raise your hand on her and make her cry?" He growled. I look at him with teary eyes and smile, realising that nothing can happen to me when he is with me.

"Your father will never let anything happen to you both" I muttered and caressed my belly. I turned my face in another direction when he pulled out George's heart from his body before morphing into a wolf. Shrine went in his direction to have her food. I looked around in fear of any danger.

I took a relief breath when I found no one. Everyone who came here to kill me ran away after seeing Rex. I sat on the ground, holding my baby bump with both hands and started crying thinking what would happen if he didn't show up on time. Only I knew how I was controlling myself in front of them, trying to be brave.

Rex came towards me and morphed into a human, pulling me into a hug. He was still in control.

"Everything is fine. Relax, I will not let anyone harm you and our pups" he said and kissed my hair.

"I got scared" I muttered and hid my face in his chest, crying remembering the moment when George's commander looked at me lecherously. Rex held my shoulder and parted away. I look at him with teary eyes.

"I wish I could kill him again for hurting you" He frowned and touched my left cheek which might have swelled because of the slap.

"Aah," I whimpered when he touched the cut near my lips.

"He did this on his commander's order" I sobbed.

"Commander" He raised one eyebrow. I nod my head.

"I don't know how you will find him but I want him dead," I said, looking into his eyes.

"He was raping me through his eyes," I told him everything that George's commander said in front of his companion and how he tried to touch me.

"He was about to rape me in front of everyone. Before he could touch me, I kicked on his crotch. Thankfully you came otherwise" He growled loudly, making me shiver. Even the ground beneath me was shaken with his growl.

"Rex... Please control your aura... It--it's hurting" I stuttered. He stood up and looked around.

"Whoever came here to hurt my mate. come here" I heard his voice in my mind and to my surprise all the warriors and that commander came in front of us. I stood up and held Rex's hand in fear.

"Who tried to touch you?" He asked dangerously. I looked around and pointed towards their commander. Next thing, I knew that his head was in the air. I screamed and closed my eyes. Rex morphed into a wolf and ripped his head mercilessly. I opened my eyes hearing Rex's growl. Shrine went towards him. He gave me a look before turning his head toward the Shrine.

"This look" I muttered and looked at warriors in pity, knowing Rex was in the mood to hunt and now he will not kill them easily but make them run for their life and my guess was not wrong, Shrine and Rex were killing the warriors mercilessly. I turned my head in another direction, not able to see the horrible bloodbath. It reminded me of how Alexander killed my people in front of my eyes after chaining me naked.

I went to the side and covered my ears, not wanting to hear painful screams which reminded me of Alexander's torture on my people. Both situations are different, but still, I can't see people die. Fear settled inside me. I turned my head in Aaron's direction when everything went silent.

"Aah," I screamed seeing the horrible scene in front of my eyes. The whole ground turned red with blood. Rex and Shrine were eating flesh, covered in blood. I went to the side and threw up.

I was taking a deep breath to calm myself. That's when I felt a hand on my back. I turned in fear, only to find a lady standing there with a water bottle in her hand.

"Relax... I mean no harm" She smiled and passed me a water bottle. I rinse my mouth and then drink the water. My heart was still beating at a higher speed. I turned my hand and looked at the lady. She is in her early forties. She moved her hand on my back.

"Are you okay?" I nod my head. She lovingly wiped my face with her scarf. Tears welled up in my eyes as she reminded me of my mom who always took care of me like this.

"Pearl" I turned my head when I heard my mate's voice. Aaron was in control, standing a foot away from me naked and covered in blood.

"What happened?" He raised his hand to touch me but I moved back, seeing blood in his hand. I was trying my best not to panic while remembering harsh memories of my life.

"She is scared after seeing blood and everything" that lady muttered to Aaron. He nodded his hand and hugged her.

"How are you?" He asked.

"As you left" She replied with teary eyes. He broke the hug and wiped her tears.

"Please don't cry"

"Saying as if you care" She hit his arm and he whimpered, acting like it hurt him. I was gawking at him, seeing him acting like a child. Who would believe that the person who killed those warriors and ate their flesh mercilessly is now whimpering like a child in front of an old woman?

"Your father is an amazing actor" I muttered to my pup slowly, caressing my bump. He looked at my side and raised his eyebrow.

"Fucking werewolves hearing power" I hissed realising he heard what I said. He and aunt both started laughing at my words while I tightened my lips realising that I was making fun of myself and then started laughing at my words. My eyes met with Aaron's eyes who were looking at me only. He raised his eyebrows asking me how I am. I nodded my head in response, telling him that I'm fine. He smiled and kissed my forehead.

I don't know what is written in my destiny but now I don't want to fight with him and live every moment happily with him. I looked in the sky, silently praying to the moon goddess to keep everything like this and then looked at Aaron who blinked his eyes telling me that he would handle everything and now nothing bad would happen. I hope he does as he says because I learned one thing from my past. It can come in front of me at any moment and I have to be prepared for it, unlike last time.
