I was looking at the screen, still not able to believe that the dream I and Aaron saw together shattered like this. I was unconscious for forty-three hours.

"Aana" I turned my head and looked at Ryan who was looking at me with tears-filled eyes.

"I missed his birthday... I missed our wedding." I clutched my hair frustratingly. "We had a big plan for this day, Ryan. We are about to mark each other. I wanted to surprise him by telling him about our pup." Tears were streaming from my eyes.

"You have to compose yourself, Aana. Please calm down, at least for your pup and mate." I look at him. He held my one hand in his hand.

"He was waiting for you at the wedding hall but you didn't show up. We can't even imagine what he was going through right now. He must be thinking that you ditched him." My eyes grew wider.

"He was calling you continuously as you didn't reach home. I left him with a message that you will reach the venue unaware that it would take you time to regain consciousness" I kept my hand on my mouth in shock trying to concede with the things he was feeding me.

"My phone?"

"Wait" he went inside and brought my purse in which I kept my phone and passed me. I look inside only to find my pregnancy kit and report along with my phone.

"I was about to surprise him by showing the positive result" I muttered and touched my stomach. I took a breath to calm myself. Not wanting to cry anymore for the things that already happened. I can't do anything about it. I took out my phone and looked at the screen only to find 100+ missed calls from Aaron with lots of messages asking me about my whereabouts and whether I was okay or not. From his message, I can already sense how anxious he is for me and my safety.

"He must be worried for me," I thought and dialled his number.

"What happened?" Ryan asked when I cut the call.

"His phone is switched off," I muttered. Tears rolled from my eyes without my permission.

"He might have broken his phone in anger," I said and remembered how excited he was for our wedding.

"He again got hurt because of my past. He healed me. Only I know how I prepared myself before accepting him and his love. It even took me time to accept his touch but Alexander destroyed everything again. He touched" I clamped up not able to complete, feeling disgusted with the thought that he touched me.

. Ryan hugged me like a big brother.

"I'm sorry. I wish I wouldn't have booked your appointment with a gynaecologist. Neither you would have come to the hospital nor would you have encountered that monster" he said, whimpering, feeling the pain of his sister. I nod my head negatively.

"It's not your fault, brother. It's my destiny which never lets me stay happy. I missed the day which is going to be memorable for both me and Aaron. It all happened because of Alexander." I mumbled and everything that happened started revolving in my mind.

"Now it's going to be fun. I will get another chance to kill your happiness, your pup and Your love or say your mate"

My eyes widened remembering Alexander's words. I parted away from Ryan and hopped down from bed.

"What happened?" He asked.

"We need to run away from here."

"What?"

"Yes... Alexander knows that I'm alive. The moment he recovers, he will hunt for me. Not only this he knows everything about me. He knows I moved on and have someone in my life. He told me clearly that he would destroy my life... He will kill my mate and my pup" Only I know how I uttered the last words. My soul shuddered at the mere thought of something bad happening to Aaron.

"I can't stay here. Alexander can harm him and my pup. I can't take this risk. I will shift to another country with Aaron. I will not let Alexander destroy my family again. I will not. I and Aaron have to run away from here" I muttered and was about to go when Ryan held my hand.

"Let me drop you. It's too late." I nod my head. He went inside to bring his car key and went outside. I was about to follow him when my eyes went to my purse. I took out the pregnancy kit which I thought I would give Aaron as a birthday present.

"I hope you will forgive me for not attending our wedding after seeing this" I wiped my tears and went outside, keeping that pregnancy kit in the pocket of my pants.

It was already dawn when I reached the venue where Aaron arranged our wedding.

"Are you sure he would be here?" I nod my head.

"I know he must be waiting for me to arrive despite everything," I muttered with a mild smile and held the kit tightly in my fist. I just hope he will understand. I decided, today I'm going to tell him everything and also what Alexander did.

"Please moon goddess give me strength to face him and share my past with him." I thought and hopped out of the car. Ryan told me to call him if I need him because he can't come with me as he has to go to the hospital to attend to a patient.

I took a deep breath and went inside only to find Alpha Patrick whom Aaron introduced me to when he took me to the Wild pack. I greeted him to which he glared at me. I ignored him and was about to go inside when he blocked my way.

"Why have you come now after destroying everything?" He growled. I flinched when he released his aura.

"Aaron told me that you're his close friend. so I can understand why you're mad at me but please let me go inside. I want to meet Aaron"

"You can't... I will not let you hurt him anymore" He growled. I moved back when he took a step towards me. I don't know why I get scared when he does that despite knowing he will not harm me. All of a sudden, I started seeing Alexander's face in him. I shook my head, trying my best not to panic and think about that monster.

"You have to control yourself, Aana for your mate who is in pain because of you," I muttered to myself and looked at Patrick with all the courage.

"I need to meet him. He is my mate and you can't stop any wolf from meeting his or her mate" I said.

"Why did you do this to him?" He asked with a cracked voice.

"I need to talk to him. He must be waiting for me"

"It will be better for you if you leave because he is not in the right state of mind. He might hurt you" He smirked.

"He can never hurt me," I said confidently, trusting my love. He looked at me for a minute before moving aside. I went inside the hall. My eyes widened seeing the horrible scenario in front of my eyes. The whole decoration was destroyed badly like an earthquake came over here. I look around in search of Aaron, only to find him sitting at the corner near the bar.

"Aaron" I went towards him when he didn't look at my side despite hearing my voice. He was sitting on a chair, his eyes were red and his body was shaking in anger and pain. I gulped seeing him this angry for the first time. Tears rolled from my eyes, realising that he was in this condition only because of me. He is in pain only because of me and my past.

"Aaron" I kept my hand on his shoulder when he didn't respond.

"Aa--Aaron" I stuttered, started feeling suffocated because of the aura he was realising. He looked at my side with red eyes. I moved back in fear. He looked at me from head to toe then smirked.

"You have guts to come in front of me" He started laughing like a maniac.

"I know you're mad at me but please listen to me once" I muttered and went closer to him to hold him.

"Don't" he growled when I was about to hold his arms, making my whole body shiver in fear. I took my step away from him.

"Dare you to touch me with your dirty hands" He yelled. I closed my eyes in fear despite knowing he wouldn't hurt me.

"Why?" he asked in a cracked voice. I opened my eyes and looked at him, only to find tears in his eyes.

"Why did you do this to me, Aana? Why?" Tears rolled from my eyes seeing him broken and in pain. I can feel his pain because of our bonds. I'm feeling like someone is poking my whole body with nails and if I'm feeling like this then I can't imagine how much pain he is in and only one thought came into my mind to run away from his life to let him live his life peacefully.
