After bidding goodbye to Ryan I went inside using a spare key and entered the hall, only to find it all dark. I was about to switch on the light but stopped in mid when I sensed his presence near me.

"Aaron" I immediately covered my body with a scarf, not wanting to show him my rashes and worry him unnecessarily.

"Yeah," He muttered and switched on the light.

"you haven't slept yet?" I asked, trying my best to cover my arms with my scarf. I looked up when he didn't answer and found his eyes on my scarf... he must have noticed my action.

"Please don't ask anything." I thought and looked at Alice in my mind who was still unconscious. Aaron pulled me closer holding my waist.

"Aa--Aaron" I stuttered.

"Hmm," He muttered and buried his head in my neck, inhaling my scent.

"I was worried for you."

"Worried?"

"Yeah... Rex was getting feeling like you're not okay. You need us that's why I called you so many times but you didn't pick up" A smile appeared on my face when he complained like a baby and at the same time, the fact that Rex and he got the feeling that I was not okay, didn't go unnoticed by me.

"I'm sorry... My phone was not with me when you called me" He nodded his head.

"Aaron" I moaned when he sucked my earlobe.

"Why didn't you call me back and leave a stupid message? Not only this when I called you back, you switched off your phone." He frowned.

"That time, I was not in a state to talk" I muttered, closing my eyes when he started kissing my neck and then suddenly he stopped kissing me.

"Not in a state to talk" he repeated my words making my eyes widen as I realised I was about to utter everything.

"Yeah. I was busy" I muttered. He looked at me for a few seconds like he caught my lie and then shook her head. By seeing his response, I get to know that he didn't buy my lie.

"Aaron"

"It's okay" he muttered, leaving me stunned. He didn't ask anything despite catching me lying, maybe because he gotta know I'm not comfortable telling him whatever happened. He always understood me, my reason and my silence. I smiled and attached my lips to his, pouring all my love into that one kiss... He pulled me closer, leaving no space, even for air. He parted away from my lips to fill the air in our lungs.

"I love you" he muttered, before attaching his lips again to mine and I responded to his confession by deepening the kiss. We both were exploring each other's lips.

"Aaron" I pushed him away when he touched my scarf to remove it.

"Pearl" He was stunned at the way I pushed him.

"I have to shower" I mumbled, not finding another excuse.

"What?" he started laughing.

"I don't care" He whispered and was about to come closer but I moved back.

"But I do care... I'm not feeling good and also I'm not feeling like doing it today" I hesitate to say those words, not knowing how he would react.

"Ohh then say it clearly… Why are you hesitating? I can understand." Like always he again surprised me with his words.

"It's okay… You can tell me comfortably what you want or what not." He said, bringing a smile to my lips.

"Well, you should take a shower because I and Rex can smell someone else's scent from you which is kind of pissing Rex." I look at him dumbstruck.

"You're taking my words wrong, queen... I know you might have hugged someone, that's why we can smell another male scent" he shrugged his shoulders. I nod my head remembering the moment when Ryan hugged me like a big brother to calm me when I was having a panic attack.

"Yeah… Actually" before I could explain to Aaron what happened, he put his middle finger on my lips.

"I'm not doubting you neither Rex do... It's just that you know wolf's possessive nature." I smiled and nodded my head.

"Sorry if you feel bad" He mumbled.

"No need... I can understand" I muttered.

"What happened?" he asked when I tightened my fist to control myself from not scratching my arms because of the terrible itching I'm feeling in my whole body.

"I need to use the washroom" I muttered and rushed towards my room. I went directly inside the washroom and removed my scarf.

"Fuck" I cursed looking at my arms which turned red. I removed my clothes, only to find the same kind of rashes all over my body. Thankfully, I already guessed my situation and rejected Aaron's proposal to make love tonight, otherwise, he would have got furious after seeing me like this.

I spent an hour in the washroom under the water as cold water was giving me relief from the itching and then applied the ointment that Ryan gave me to apply for some relief. After I came out, I found Aaron waiting for me with a tray of food beside him. Thankfully I wore a long high-neck hoodie and a trouser which covered my whole body.

"Are you sure you're going to wear this dress while sleeping?" he asked.

"yeah.. do you have any problem?" I scoffed and sat beside him.

"No" He raised both hands in surrender.

"I'm not feeling hungry.." I mumbled looking at the tray of food.

"You might not but I'm ravenous" I look at him shockingly.

"Don't tell me you haven't had your dinner"

"How could I have it without you?" He asked. I glare at him before feeding him with my hand.

"What about you? Did you have something for dinner?" He asked after finishing the food in his mouth. I shook my head negatively before feeding him another bite.

"I haven't had time to eat anything since this morning," I replied and then bit my tongue before looking at him. This time, it was his chance to glare at me.

"You're so careless, Aana," he called me with my name which was enough for me to know that I pissed him off. After that, we both didn't share a word and fed each other with our hands. I went to the kitchen to wash the dishes as he prepared the food... It's our deal when one will make the food then the other one will wash the dishes.

"I badly want to cuddle with you" He muttered, encircling his hand around my waist after I came back to the room.

"Aaron" I parted away from him and kissed his hands. "Can we sleep in a separate room today?" His eyes widened upon hearing my question.

"Why?" He asked, still not able to process that I asked to sleep in a different room as I don't even let him work at night because I was never able to sleep without him. He is like my addiction. I need him at every moment of my life.

"Don't worry... it's nothing serious. I just want to be alone for some time… Please"

"But Pearl"

"please" I interrupted him before he would have asked me anything. He reluctantly nodded his head. I left the room before my heart forced me to change my decision after seeing his upset face.

"fuck" I cursed and remove my top as soon as I entered the room. I turned towards the mirror and looked at my upper body which turned red. In the kitchen, I was scratching my arms while working but with time, the itching was getting worse. It was too hard for me to control myself in front of Aaron then the idea of sleeping in a separate room came into my mind.

I sat on the bed and rubbed my arms, trying my best to control myself from scratching my skin with my nails. Tears rolled from my eyes as it was almost unbearable for me. I took out the sleeping tablet from the side drawer. Only this tablet could help me to ignore this itchiness and save my skin from my claws. Thankfully, the medicine was highly effective and it didn't take me long to sleep.

My sleep broke with the knock on the door. I looked at the clock and my sleep flew away realising I slept more than twelve hours. It was two hours past twelve.

"Moon Goddess" I rubbed my eyes and looked at Alice who was yawning. Seems like it wasn't long before she got up.

"Pearl... Are you awake?" I heard Aaron's voice from the other side of the door.

"Yeah.. wait" I yawned and looked around to find my top on the ground floor. I hopped down from the bed and wore my top before opening my door.

"Aaron," I muttered and lunged at him. He immediately held me by encircling his hands around my waist.

"Good morning" He chuckled and kissed my hair.

"Good morning" I again yawned.

"Still feeling sleepy?" I turned my head towards his face and nodded my head.

"You slept more than twelve hours," He muttered after checking the time on his wristwatch.

"And it seems like you couldn't sleep for a minute... Why are your eyes red?" I asked.

"Your guess is right... I wasn't able to sleep without holding you in my arms" I look at him with an open mouth.

"What?" He laughed seeing my reaction and gave a peck on my lips.

"How can someone love someone so much? Above that the question is what I did that I got you as my partner?" I asked and attached my lips to his lips for a long passionate kiss.

"Aana" My eyes widened when I heard the most unexpected voice in my mind. I broke the kiss and hopped down from Aaron's arms.

"What happened?" He asked but I didn't reply and closed the door of the room.

"Are you there?" Tears rolled from my eyes when I heard that person's voice again in my mind. Not able to process anything and within one second my whole past came in front of my eyes.

"Aana" Alice called me when I fell on the ground, not able to stand on my feet, feeling overwhelmed.
