Chapter 136: Chapter 136

No One Pov's

.

"I don't want to live anymore, Vince... Please take me with you... I want to die" Aana whimpered, closing her eyes and a few drops of tears fell from her eyes and her whole face was red, maybe because she just had another panic attack.

"Pearl" only her name came out of Aaron's mouth. Tears were streaming down from his eyes. She opened her eyes and looked at him.

"Aaron"

"Yeah," He immediately held her hand.

"I have become a troublemaker for you… I'm sorry" He shook his head negatively and wiped her tears lovingly.

"It's me who should say sorry and you're not a trouble but my life, Pearl" he whispered in her ear and kissed her forehead. She detached her hand from his and turned her face in another direction, crying miserably.

"I don't deserve you. With every passing day, I'm becoming toxic"

"Stop uttering nonsense, Aana" he growled at her. That's when he felt a strange pain.

"Are you okay?" Aaron asked Rex who shook his head.

"It's not our pain but her." His eyes widened upon hearing his wolf reply. He looked at Aana who was holding her forehead with one hand and was breathing heavily. It didn't take him long to understand that she was having a severe panic attack.

"Please calm down, Pearl... Please"

"I don't want to live anymore. I want to die."

"Please don't say this. I will die if something happens to you" She looked at him with teary eyes, breathing heavily. He was unable to understand what he should do because with every passing second her condition was slipping off.

"You will be happy without me because I only hurt you with my words" she stammered.

"You don't... please… Please calm down, Pearl.'' He was begging her but nothing was working. That's when he heard the doorbell. At first, he ignored it but then his phone rang showing Christian's name on display. He immediately stood up and opened the door and his guess was right, Christian was at the door.

"How is Aana?" Christian asked the first question as soon as Aaron opened the door.

"Sh--She is having a panic attack" Christian pushed him away and went inside only to find Aana laying on the sofa, breathing heavily. She was trying her best to remain conscious but it was getting out of her control with every passing second. Christian takes out an injection from his pocket.

"Hold her hand" he muttered and looked at Aaron who was standing like a statue, seeing Aana like this. It's not only Aana who was losing grip on her life but he was also losing himself with her.

"Aaron" Christian shook him. "It's not time to lose your sanity. we have to take care of Aana... You can't lose like this. You have to be there for her." He said, getting panicked seeing his best friend like this. He knows if something happens to Aana then he will lose his best friend as well. Aaron looked at him with teary eyes.

"Hold her hand… I had to inject this into her body. It will calm her" Aaron nodded his head and did as Christian asked her to do.

"Nothing will happen to her, right?" Aaron asked, looking at his girl whose whole face became red because of lack of oxygen.

"I brought this injection from Aana's psychologist. Remember, I told you that he treats my sister as well. Don't worry, nothing will happen to your Aana" Christian replied after injecting Aana. He looked at his best friend who was sitting silent.

"We have to take her to the hospital for a checkup. Only her psychologist, Ryan, will tell us if she is okay or not" Christian muttered. Aaron nodded her head and stood up from the sofa. He was about to pick Aana in his arms but Christian stopped him.

"You're shivering, Aaron. Are you sure you can hold her properly?" Aaron looks at him and then nods his head. He was silent, not showing any expression which was enough to scare Christian for his best friend.

The moment they reached the hospital, a nurse came towards them and asked Aaron to take her to the doctor's cabin. Surprisingly, there was no one in the cabin. Aaron looked at Christian who was equally unaware.

"Where is Dr Ryan?" Christian asked.

"He will be here in a minute. Till then he asked me to get everyone out except Aana so that he can talk to her," she said.

"But" before Aaron would have said something, Christian kept his hand on Aaron's shoulder.

"If we don't go out then how will he treat Aana and don't worry he is trustworthy after all he is Aana's brother" Christian reminded him. Aaron nodded his head and went outside. He kept looking at her from the window until the nurse pulled the curtain down.

Aaron sighed and sat on the chair. His heart twitches by looking at her. He came to know that his one behaviour towards Aana in the past week, took her back to the phrase from where she struggled to come out. She again went to the phrase where she used to have panic attacks. He started blaming himself for Aana's condition while Alice's condition was not different. she was crushing herself for prioritising Aaron over Aana.

"I'm going to fill the hospital form... take care of yourself and her" Christian muttered and went to fulfil the procedure where Aaron was sitting idly. He was feeling guilty because of his behaviour towards Aana. He recalled her words when they were arguing in the office.

"You never prioritise anything over me. You always postpone your work for me" Aaron tightened his fist to control his emotion. He recalled all the incidents that happened in the past weeks and especially what Aana said to him.

"Aaron... I'm sorry but please don't push me away like this... I know, I shouldn't have lied to you but"

"Please don't talk to me like this,"

"I will not cry... I will not panic nor I will lie but please don't hate me. Do---Don't push me away from you"

.

Aaron came to his senses when Christian kept his hand on Aaron's shoulder. He looked at him and then bowed his eyes.

"I hurt her, Christian... Today she is in this condition only because of me. She wanted to talk to me but I didn't give her a chance because of my anger. she is in this condition because of me."

"It's nothing like that, Aaron. Sometimes, we don't get to know what our close ones are going through and it's not our fault but the life which always keeps us busy." Aaron nodded his head negatively.

"No... It's my fault. It's only my fault" He hugged his friend and started crying while tears welled up in Christian eyes seeing his best friend like this but he controlled them.

Aaron parted away from him when the door of the cabin opened. He went towards the nurse who just came outside.

"How is she?" Christian asked.

"To be honest, she is not okay. Her condition is getting worse with every passing second and if it continues then she might go crazy or worse if her nerves burst then she will die." Aaron's leg stumbled upon hearing him. Thanks to Christian who held him before he would have fallen to the ground. He looked at Christian and then at his hand in which he was holding her hand a while before. He felt like the world slept from his hand.

"Pearl"
