"Answer me, Pearl... what do you mean by you won't be there for our pup" Aaron asked, gritting his teeth. I passed him a small smile and started looking everywhere but him.

"Pearl"

"What?" I snarled when he called me again. My anger vanished when my gaze met with his wet eyes. Thankfully, he parked the car inside before glaring at me non-stop with his angry gaze. I sighed and held his hand in mine.

"We can't run away from the truth, Aaron. Kathie told me before only that if I choose to keep our pups then I might lose my life and I accepted my faith for our pups. It will be better if you also" Before I could complete he detached his hand from mine.

"What rubbish... Didn't I tell you that nothing will happen to you" He growled, making me flinch. I felt his aura and with that all the hairs of my body stood up.

"You're scaring me and our pups with your aura, Aaron" I muttered. surprisingly he immediately calmed down.

"My aura shouldn't affect you that much... You're my mate" he frowned and rubbed my arms, seeing the goosebumps on my hand.

"But you rejected me" His face paled upon hearing me. I look down, not able to look into his eyes which get filled with pain while remembering the moment when he rejected me.

"I" I looked at his side and found him lost in his words. Well, could I blame him when I myself don't know what to say regarding that moment. I badly wanted to get mad at him for rejecting him but at the same time, I know it's not completely his fault when I filled him with lies before our marking ceremony.

"I don't know anything Pearl but nothing will happen to you" he said, after a while.

"We don't know Aaron what is written in our destiny by moon goddess"

"She has to change our destiny if needed because if anything happens to you then I will destroy the world created by her and I'm resolute about it." He said leaving me dumbfounded.

"Aaron"

"Nothing will happen to you" He said, cutting me, indirectly telling me that he doesn't want to listen to anything further on this topic. I gulped and nodded my head. He started the engine and drove towards the Wild Pack.

"Moon goddess, what kind of circumstances have you put me in? I can't even imagine if something happened to me then what will Aaron do and how will survived without me. From the start I know he loves me more than anyone can love someone but now his love is scaring me for him. Please give me and Aaron strength to face this situation" I prayed in my mind and that's when I felt Aaron's hand on my stomach. I opened my eyes and looked at his side. He was caressing my belly with his hand.

"Even our baby boy wants his mother to be healthy that's why he choose to wait." I look at him perplexed not getting what he means. That's when I remember the incident last night when I went unconscious feeling pain in my abdomen.

"I completely forgot to ask you what happened last night?" I muttered. He nodded his head and started telling me how he asked our pups to wait in my stomach as my body is not prepared for it and how easily my baby boy agreed and used the power of my baby girl who is healer to wait in my stomach until my body gets fit for delivery.

"He chose to wait" I exclaimed, keeping my hand on my mouth, not able to believe this miracle.

"But what if"

"Nothing will happen to our pups" he said interrupting me like he already knows what I was going to ask.

"I already knew that because if you asked our pups to wait then I'm sure you would take this decision by considering them also" I rolled my eyes. He smiled at my words.

"I wanted to ask what if my body didn't get enough energy even after two weeks?" he glared at me.

"Why do you always think negatively? can't you be positive" He scoffed. I zip my mouth, not wanting to pissed him off more. A smile broke on my lips remembering the moment when I had the panic attack with the thought of losing him and he said the same line to me. I remember that day he promised me to always stay by my side.

Whole night Aana was sitting on Aaron's lap neither he complained. He was staring at his sleeping queen and gently caressing her hairs. Tears rolled from her eyes seeing her face which was still red because of a panic attack.

"I know that she loves us but I never thought that she loves us more than we love her" Aaron nodded his head, agreeing with his wolf.

"We can never compare her love with our love, Rex. She had a panic attack with the thought of losing us and it's enough for me to know that she loves us" he replied to Rex and kissed on Aana's forehead before picking up Aana in his arms to make her sleep on bed. she squirmed in his arms and clutched his shirt not wanting to leave him. He smiled and lay down beside her.

"I love you, Pearl," he whispered in her ear.

"And what about me?" He was taken aback at the way Alice took control from Aana and asked the question.

"Alice"

"You should get used to it" she rolled her eyes while he laughed and kissed her lips.

"I love you as well my fireball" he said after breaking the kiss. she smiled and rested her head on his chest.

"Aaron"

"yes"

"I wanted to tell you something important" she whispered and looked at him.

"Yeah"

"Please don't react after hearing everything. it's a past.. I just wanted you to know everything that's it. Okay?" she asked.

"You're scaring me, Alice"

"Let it be.. I don't want to share anything"

"No.. say what you want to" He muttered and sat straight while holding her in his arms.

"I wanted to tell you the reason why Aana became like this.. A silent girl who is surrounded by darkness" Her words were enough for Aaron to know the seriousness of the situation.
