Chapter 114: Chapter 114
Aaron Pov's
.
I could feel that I upset Aana by saying no to her to call her 'Pearl' and also saw tears of complaint in her eyes when I accused her of cheating. My heart bleeds while saying those words but I said it because I wanted to hear from her mouth that she didn't cheat on me but like two months ago, she chose to run away instead of fighting and shouting out this matter.
I wanted to stop her when my Beta Patrick came in front of me and the thing that I feared the most happened. He addressed Aana as Luna forgetting that I introduced him as an Alpha of the Wild pack to her. I sighed in disappointment.
"Aana go to your room. I want to talk with Patrick alone" I said emphasising the word alone and like always she listened to me and went towards my room. I'm sure there were lots of questions in her mind after Patrick called me Alpha but I can't clear them because I'm not ready to reveal my true identity to him. I give her half information about my past but still, there is a lot for her to know and I'm sure when she will get to know everything, she will go against me like everyone else instead of understanding me and the reason behind my actions.
"I'm sorry, Alpha '' Patrick said, bringing me back to the world. I glared at him when he smirked, indicating to me that it was not a mistake but he intentionally addressed Aana as Luna.
"Would you explain why you played that stunt?" I snarled.
"As if you don't know" He scoffed.
"It's not your mistake but mine that I consider you my best friend before Beta," I said to which he grinned. I rolled my eyes before punching on his face.
"aah... What was that?" He hissed.
"Karma for your deeds" I muttered and waited for his wolf to heal him.
"If you're thinking of using Aana for taking me back to Pack then drop this idea, Patrick. I won't like it if you drag her into this matter" I said using my Alpha aura, warning him silently that I'm serious about my words.
"You want it or not Aaron but now you have to come to the pack to save the life of your love" I raised my eyebrow not getting what he meant.
"Your mom was human, yet she delivered a healthy baby," he said, widening my eyes.
"Why didn't I think about it?" I thought.
"Yes... If mom can deliver a healthy baby despite being human then why can't Aana" Rex said merrily as finally he got a hope to save Aana.
"But for saving your mate, you have to come back to pack, Alpha" I frowned at Patrick's words.
"don't beat around the bush," I said in a stern tone.
"Your mom or say former Luna had a normal delivery because Merry was there with her. She takes care of Luna till her delivery and uses her primitive medicines or say ayurveda because of which it is possible for Luna to give birth to you."
"Then asked Merry to come here," Rex said impatiently.
"She won't come here" I sighed knowing my other mother, who didn't give birth to me but raised me like his own child.
"Why?" He asked.
"Because she never went anywhere outside the pack and wanted to serve the pack till her last breath."
"At least ask her before deciding everything by yourself," he growled. I shook my head and mindlink, Merry, knowing Rex won't let me take a deep breath until I contacted her and he himself heard her reply.
"Mother" I mindlink mother.
"Finally you got time for me, Son" she scoffed.
"I'm sorry"
"You should be... did you realise you haven't contacted me in the past six years. Did you forget that you have a mother who didn't give birth to you but raised you or you didn't even consider me your mother" She growled.
"You know it's nothing like that," I said.
"Then why didn't you contact me, son?" she asked. I'm not there but I'm sure she must be crying right now.
"I was busy battling with the darkness of my life" I mumbled.
"And I'm happy that you found someone who brings light into your life," she replied.
"How did you know?" I asked surprisingly.
"You abandoned us but we didn't. Everyone in the pack knows about you and things going on in your life. Everyone is happy for you"
"She is pregnant, mother" I muttered, ignoring the fact that she revealed. Whenever someone made me realise how much pack members loves me, it almost make me emotional and filled me with guilt but at the same time, my determination to not go over there get stronger because I know once I went there then I might not be able to leave that place again or say leave the people who love me more than their life.
I waited for her to say something but nothing came out of her mouth. I gulped because her silence was enough for me to know how serious Aana's condition is.
"Please come here. Only you can save her" I requested after a while.
"You know son, I don't go anywhere outside the pack. If you really care about your pup and mate then bring her over here." Rex was about to growl at her but I stopped him, reminding him that Merry was not only my caretaker but she is my mother who always loved me like her own son.
"Can't you come here for your son?" I asked her. If I wouldn't mind linking her but talking to her then I'm sure my voice would have cracked up.
"I can, but all the ayurvedic medicines and everything that is required for your mate delivery is present in the pack and it's difficult to bring them over there. Most importantly the use of fresh plant juice is important for Aana to keep her bp and blood in control because she was carrying a Lycan who used most of her mother's energy. Since your mate is human we need to keep her diet according to the werewolf mother. I hope you're understanding my point, Aaron."
"You mean we need to come to the pack for her healthy delivery" I sighed, realising the situation and understanding her reason.
"Yes, If you want your mate to have a healthy delivery then bring her over here," she said, telling me that I have no option but to return to the pack which always reminds me of my parents.
"I won't come there… No matter what the situation is" I replied and closed the mindlink.
"No matter what… I won't go there… I won't "I thought looking at the display picture of my mobile which is showing Aana's smiling face.
