Chapter 925: Chapter 925
Li Pin looked at the Void Emperor and said, "If one day I can touch destiny, or even surpass it, then I will bring everything to an end at the very moment your destiny most longed for it to end."
The Void Emperor repeated, "The moment it most longed to end..."
His thoughts drifted back to a distant memory in the past. It was a scene from within the Void Divine Treasure World. He recalled the blooming flowers in the courtyard beneath Mount Qingyuan, the quiet sunset... and the years that had quietly slipped away.
Li Pin rose to his feet, choosing not to disturb the Void Emperor as he reminisced about the past. He ended the conversation of his own accord, took a step forward, and walked away.
Shortly after he walked some distance, the Void Emperor's voice rang out again. It sounded different, but not entirely unrecognizable. "Thank you."
Li Pin paused for a moment. Then, he waved his hand and walked away with calm composure.
The Luminous Ark traversed through space at incredible speed.
This time, its course was set toward the Ocean of Time, a neutral region on the outskirts of the human domain, known for its exceptional accessibility.
Inside the vessel, Sasha asked, puzzled, "There were still so many questions you could've asked the Void Emperor. He's an ancient being who survived the shattering of the Ancient Astral World. He doesn't know any less than Creator Miao Ya and the others."
As a lifeform evolved from artificial intelligence, Sasha had a clear understanding of how to maximize her gains. She genuinely couldn't make sense of Li Pin's actions.
"I know," Li Pin said from the lounge. "I know that if I had asked, he would have answered."
"Then why? Creator Miao Ya and the others are surrounded by countless uncertainties, and their stance towards you is far from friendly. Even if they explain the mystery behind the Ancient Astral World's destruction, there's no guarantee the information is genuine. But the Void Emperor..."
She paused for a moment. "You managed to earn his trust. If you asked him now, he'd definitely tell you everything he knows."
"Let's just say... I was moved by the power of destiny," Li Pin said with a smile.
Sasha stared at him, briefly taken aback.
After all, not long ago, Li Pin had just declared his intention to surpass destiny, perhaps even defy it altogether.
But he offered no further explanation. He simply said, "There's only one answer I truly want now, and that's the nature of the Dao Realm. I want to understand what kind of power it really is."
He paused for a moment. "I have a feeling... this power shouldn't have appeared at this time."
"It shouldn't have appeared at this time?" Sasha looked at him. "But all of it... was something you comprehended entirely on your own."
"That's why I'm calling it just a hunch. As for the truth... I'm guessing only the one behind you, the master of the Ocean of Time, can answer that."
Sasha had nothing more to say. She simply asked, "Didn't you say you'd visit Father with your True Body? So now..."
"You’re wondering why am I going with my avatar?" Li Pin replied as he checked his current state.
After a moment of thought, he adjusted the vessel's course slightly.
Sasha assumed he was heading to rendezvous with his true body and didn't think much of it. The vessel changed direction and accelerated. But as they sped up, Sasha began to sense something was off. The power within Li Pin's avatar was rising at an astonishing rate. It's as if he was transferring the full power of his True Body into this avatar.
Sasha couldn't help but ask, "Your Majesty, what are you doing?"
"Just taking precautions," Li Pin answered.
As more and more of the True Body's power was transmitted over, the energy surging from Li Pin's body grew stronger and stronger. Once it reached a certain threshold, the space around him began to distort and collapse.
Matter, energy, time, and space, everything around them was being pierced and unraveled at an alarming speed. The surroundings began to revert to chaos.
Finally, Sasha realized what was happening and was shocked. "You're heading into the Void of Chaos?"
Li Pin said nothing. The energy within him continued to surge.
It was like watching a silk veil being weighed down by a steel bead. As the bead grew heavier, the silk sagged lower and lower. Eventually, the weight became too much to bear and the silk tore apart. The bead broke free and plummeted downward at an unimaginable speed, heading toward a dreadful zone.
"The Void of Chaos!" Sasha cried out in shock. "We're falling into the Void of Chaos!"
"I know," Li Pin replied with a faint smile as he plummeted faster and faster, down into the depths of the void.
As he continued to fall, the rules that once defined his "existence" gradually slipped away from him, fading further and further into the distance. Only when everything had truly fallen away did Li Pin finally see the universe in its entirety.
It was nothing like what he had seen before in Abyssal Rift No. 3, where the so-called starry sky stretched across his entire field of vision. That scene back then had been a grand and overwhelming display of cosmic laws, but it still fell short of revealing the true face of this "starry universe."
This time... he saw it for real.
Amid the chaos and void, It simply existed right there. Amid nothingness, It declared its "existence" with full clarity, just like a star suspended in the cosmic dark, casting its brilliance into the surrounding blackness. It was vast, boundless, and it carried a kind of indescribable awe. It was as if no matter how deep one had fallen into darkness, or how violently the storm raged, as long as they turned around and looked back, they would find a lighthouse shining through the shadows.
In that moment, they would know that they had passed through the storm, crossed the darkness, and emerged from the unknown and the void. There, the light of civilization still burned.
At the same time Li Pin witnessed this scene, Sasha saw it too. Her voice trembled in disbelief.
"The Void of Chaos... this is the true Void of Chaos?"
Even her True Body had never qualified to step into the Void of Chaos, and yet now, just a sub-body had been fortunate enough to experience traveling through it.
But she quickly realized something and called out in alarm, "Your Majesty Origin, you've only just stepped into the Supreme Realm. You may be able to break through the universe and reach the Void of Chaos, but you won't last long here. More importantly, do not keep falling! If you continue, you'll lose your way back to the material universe. You'll be lost in the Void of Chaos, your essence drained away, and eventually sink into it forever!"
"You haven't noticed?" Li Pin asked calmly.
In that moment, the Great Dao Radiance erupted from him. The laws of matter, energy, time, and space unfolded from his being, expanding outward with him at the center.
Furthermore, these laws weren't drawn from the starry universe. They were directly manifested from the Great Dao Radiance that originated from Li Pin himself.
What was even more incredible was that the manifested laws were stabilized through the power of reincarnation, becoming endless and everlasting.
Then, due to the Law of Karma, these four forces, originally chaotic, began to move in an increasingly orderly fashion.
Through this order, these forces began to resist the void!
And through this constant resistance, more matter, energy, time, and space were continuously born from the Great Dao Radiance. They were then stabilized by reincarnation and joined the ever-growing force against the void.
The very concept of “existence” that Li Pin embodied—along with the tangible manifestations of that existence in the forms of matter, energy, time, and space—began to expand at an astonishing speed. It went from “something” into “everything,” through a state of permanence and endless growth.
Dao begets One, One begets Two, Two begets Three, and Three begets all things!
Li Pin, as the embodiment of existence and void, mass and energy, and karma, was now manifesting and weaving them together, giving rise to infinite possibilities.
Li Pin said with a smile, "My power... never came from the starry universe in the first place."
As starlight flared around him, a new universe began to expand at his feet and all around him at an inconceivable pace.
From kilometers to ten thousand kilometers, then a billion kilometers, and light-years.
With matter and energy flooding in, and time pushing it ever outward, the growth of space defied all known logic or scale.
The rate at which Supreme Beings harvested matter, energy, time, and space from the universe to expand their own mass was already unbelievably fast.
Sasha's databanks held detailed records of it. Backed by the universe, a Supreme could expand their mass in just a single year to such an overwhelming scale, it would plunge even a Heavenly Emperor into despair. The magnitude was so immense, no amount of power could ever make the slightest dent in it.
And yet... even that paled before the rate at which Li Pin's being was now growing. Not even the most ancient of Supremes could come close to matching even a tenth of it.
At this terrifying speed, how long would it take him to surpass a Supreme who had spent hundreds, thousands, even tens of thousands of epochs cultivating their size and strength?
A year? Half a year? Or a single month? It was impossible to imagine.
Even Sasha, with all her computational power, couldn't begin to calculate it. The resulting number would be so astronomical, it might crash her system entirely. Chapters fırst released on NovelHub(.)net
But she understood one thing clearly. If Li Pin was given even a little time... it wouldn't take long before his total mass reached a level so overwhelming that even the Supremes would fall into despair.
It was a magnitude so vast, so unimaginable, that even the most exalted beings had never dared to dream of it in their lifetimes.
Sasha couldn't help but let out a cry filled with awe and disbelief. "Liberation! This... this is the power of Liberation!?"
Only now did she truly grasp just how unfathomably powerful the realm of Liberation was compared to Supreme.
Standing there in front of Li Pin, she had never felt his presence to be so overwhelmingly vast, so vast that even she, a being born from the Ocean of Time, an artificial intelligence forged in perfect logic, found herself overcome with emotion and mental turbulence.
For although artificial beings claimed to embody the pinnacle of reason, they were no longer just machines. They had evolved. They had become life. And as living beings, they could not escape the pull of instinct.
Driven by that primal instinct, Sasha lowered herself in reverence, bowing to the one who now shaped all things, who breathed life into all creation. "Greetings... O Great Liberator."
