‘May I please drive you.’ He asked as his eyes nearly scotched her alive.

No matter what happened, she could not allow him to drive her. no, not with the way she was so aware of him her skin tingle. She was scared that he only needed a chance and he could easily burrow himself under her skin.

‘Ummh, no Omar, you don’t have to bother, besides we are going in opposite directions.’ She said with a small smile as she attempted to remove the sting from her words.

‘Well, it isn’t a bother, besides I want to drive my wife.’

Feeling even more awkward, she looked at him surprised. What was he playing at? First breakfast and now he wanted to drive her? ‘Okaaay, the thing is I’ve already called for a taxi.’

‘Oh okay,’ he said as his face lowered with disappointment, she wanted to even cancel the taxi but she stilled her emotions.

But then his face suddenly lit up. Moving towards her, Lisa could not help growing flustered and she moved backward until Omar closed in on her and trapped her between the wall and himself. His eyes were focused on her lips, making them tingly. Her heartbeat was raised and she felt ashamed that she was showing such a weak front to him. What happened to the strong and independent lady she wanted to be or was? Biting her lower lip had made him even more aroused. His eyes turned even darker with arousal.

His head lowered towards hers, while hers dropped even further. Chuckling, Omar held her and kissed her forehead, and just held her, which made her relax considerably. He was not going to kiss her, yet she had anticipated it, otherwise, how could she explain, the disappointment that flashed through her when he only kissed her forehead?

‘What, are you feeling bad I didn’t kiss you.’ He asked as he blew hot air onto her ear, causing it to grow red.

‘What, no, why would I want to kiss you.’

‘Oh really, are you sure you didn’t want me to kiss you.’

‘Of course,’ she said as she rolled her eyes. ‘I mean Is that even a question.’

At this moment, due to their close proximity, she could still feel her ears itch every time he lowered his voice to speak to her ear.

‘But I want to kiss you so much.’ Omar said to her ear as his voice lowered automatically.

What was happening to him, how did he become even more shameless and thick-skinned? She could not find words to refute him and before she knew it, he had dipped his head and kissed her lips. From then everything was in a blur. Holding her to himself, he molded her body to hers. The place was getting even hotter as their tongues engaged in a dance that was old as the world.

She did not even know when she had gotten so into the kiss. She had wanted to say no, but when she opened her mouth, he had taken advantage to plunge into her. her hands had attempted to push him but with his ardent favor, she did not know when she stopped pushing and instead held on for her dear life. It was an exhilarating maneuver that caused her mind to go blank.

When he finally separated himself from her. they were both trying to get in more air. She was more than aroused. Everything in her body wanted to give in and end to their misery. Her knees felt weak. On the other hand, Omar appreciated that his being thick-skinned caused him to draw closer. She had accepted his kiss even if it had taken some convincing. It was still progressing and at this moment, he welcomed any positive progress.

He felt energetic and refreshed and so at this time, he opened the door and escorted her to the gate. At this moment, Lisa was still lost in the feel of the kiss and so she allowed him to escort her. when they finally got to the gate, he finally released her on getting into the cab. No one could explain the silly grin he had on his face. It was as though everything was brighter.

Coming back to the house, he took a shower and planned for his day. He needed to go to the office and get things into motion. Now, the very thought of being apart from her made him frown, but that was easily discarded. Nothing could dampen his mood for tonight. He also needed some workouts and so he booked a training session with his trainer.

When he got to work, he settled in his office before he was called for his meeting. The executives that came for the meeting had come tongue-tied, having prepared speeches for how to start the meeting knowing his temper and thoroughness. However, when they got there, they found him looking genial, it was absolutely opposite of what they expected. When was the last time they had seen Omar smile or exude happiness?

As they started to present, they let go of every nervousness because Omar was less criticizing, and sometimes, he was lost in his mind and only came back to the meeting when it was nearly getting done. His mind was solely focused on Lisa. Everything about her made his heart race. There and then, he had decided to use this lifetime repaying her and showing her love. For every hurt he had caused, he wanted to give back as much love.

On the other hand, as soon as Lisa left in the cab, Lucas stood from his hiding place. so, they really were together. He asked as he rubbed his beard. His mouth lifted in a mocking smile as he thought of them. His brother was wrong. He should be more ruthless. They didn’t deserve forgiveness. They had to pay for their actions.

Lexi was having a mental breakdown when she thought of going to Lisa’s shop. There was so much more she wanted to do, yet her mind failed her at that moment. The dress she had picked did not look like a normal day dress, if she went out looking like that, she would look weird. Perhaps, she didn’t have to dress up in short dresses to get his attention. She could still get his attention somehow. So today, she decided to dress in a trouser with canvas shoes and a white top and went to the shop. Taking a deep breath, she started her car and drove.

Just before getting off, she took deep breaths to offset the panic she could feel clamoring around her heart. She did not need to be so obsessed with him. Walking in, she flashed the luxurious traces of her hair back with a flap as she had let her hair down and strode in majestically. Just by the reception desk, tony raised his head at the sound of the door opening and looked at her, a smile adorning his mouth. His smile made her belly fill with butterflies and want to smile back automatically.

And that was what she did, yet she could not smile all the way till she reached where he was and the smile was already starting to wear off on her mouth. So focused was she on him that she did not notice the wire that had just been placed on the ground and before she knew hit, she had knocked hard on it, causing her to lose her balance and to flail her arms around frantically. She then closed her eyes in anticipation of meeting the ground. She was not even scared of falling, she only felt embarrassed that Tony would see her as clumsy such that her cheeks turned red from embarrassment.

Just before she could hit the ground, she felt strong arms encircle her waist and keep her steady. Her heart was thumping thunderously such that she could feel it in her chest. Her closed eyes slowly opened to the beautiful gaze of tony, who was looking at her with so much emotion it made her heart squeeze. Blinking hard, she felt the color rise on her cheeks at his intense gaze. After a while, he got them to stand upright yet the electric currents that passed through them made her heart palpitate madly.

Suddenly, she felt thirsty. Licking her lips, she struggled to form coherent sentences and get her jelly-like legs to move. Goodness, the charm of one man could unnerve her like so. It was simply amazing. It was when tony released her that she realized that she was still clenching his shirt tightly. Flushing lightly, she let go of his shirt and attempted to stand straight.
