Chapter 28: Chapter 28
At that time, she felt a knock on the glass windows and when she turned, she saw her father and Lexi waving a her. when she saw her father, a feeling of everything would be okay came over her and she move out of the ICU. After changing, she hugged him with all her heart. Papa, you have come.
How could I not come my dear daughter? Come sit with me. He said as he pulled her to sit on the chair but not before hugging and thanking Lexi for watching over her daughter while she had been away. Lexi then subtly left them to their device as she walked out for a walk outside.
I have missed you so much papa. Lisa said as the tear arms she had thought opened up once again. In her father’s arms, she felt like even if the sky fell, there would be someone holding it up for her. and in the short while when she had watched her daughter, she finally felt strong. While Lexi was supportive it just dint feel the same with her dad. Both Lexi and her da were her backbone. They always had her back anytime, which was why the thought of having gotten married to Omar still made her feel like she had betrayed them.

Omar went to his penthouse and started preparing everything. As a married couple, they had to stay or is it live together. And while he knew she would object to sleeping in the same room, he couldn’t help preparing It as their room. The large white bed looked beautiful. Since they had separated in the afternoon, Lisa had not called and he was worried she would go back on her word, but he wouldn’t know until he called her.
So, he picked up his phone and called her. she picked up almost immediately. Hey when are you coming over, you do know that you are moving in with me today right.
Hmmm about that, is it possible we meet and talk. She asked and this suddenly sent a fear in his heart he had not known he had.
Okay, where do we meet
Just outside your company, I’ll be there.
Okay, I’ll be there in ten.
When they finally met, they walked to a bench in a nearby park, the dark already threatening to diminish the light of the day completely. She shivered lightly under her light trench. Sitting down, she turned to look at him. Was it weird she wanted him to make her forget her pain, and she knew he would? But would that diminish it in any way, no. besides she doubted he could stand love making while her daughter was in the hospital. Is it okay if I move in tomorrow in the evening please? Just give me a little time to pack and sort my things out.
But Lisa, you don’t need to pack anything, we can always buy.
No, Omar I don’t want to spend your money more than I need.
Why, I thought we were already past the money thing?
Please Omar, I don’t want to argue with you. Would we please just let it be.
Seeing her rub her temple, he really looked at her. she looked like she had lost more weight in the last twenty-four hours. She looked worse for wear and tired, no rather exhausted. He even felt bad for being the bad guy. Okay, but tell me when an ill come pick you at Lexi’s house.
Ha-ha, no just give me the address an ill be there, no need to come picks me up. She said as she laughed nervously.
Okay. Can we go for supper at least? When was the last you ate Lisa? What is going on. Omar asked as her stomach took that time to rumble loudly yet she had not even the slightest appetite. Nodding, she followed him along the path, the stars starting to shine above. The fool moonlight and the city lights making the place look spectacular. He took her to an Italian shop, whose exterior looked ancient, but once she got inside, even in that moment he was able to appreciate the beauty of the place.
Madam Rosalie her husband was there to welcome them, with kisses and hugs. It looked like they were close with each other. The place had a homely appearance an instead of big lights they had opted to light candles on each table, with two seats placed opposite each other on either side.
Pulling the seat for her, he settles her own before sitting on the opposite side of her. the soft glow of the candle gleamed in the dark room making sending shadows across his face. This place made her feel like she was on a date. Memories of her dates with him coming back into her min. the desire that burned with them, how they kissed desperately. Trying to fill every inch of their moments with kisses. How their conversations used to flow in the past. As compared to now, she felt as though this was a bad example of what her life once used to be.
Looking at the menu, she did not have a desire for any of the food there, and so she just ordered a lemonade. On the other hand, Omar took the time to order different kins of food, making their table full. He recommended a meal for her and she took a tentative bite at first because she felt like retching at the sight of food. Strangely, the foo melted in her mouth, sending burst of pleasure in her mouth. It was like spurts of orgasm, but this time, food orgasms.
She found herself finishing her dish, loss of appetite long forgotten. Somehow, she had even forgotten that Omar was there, until she finished and turned to look up, meeting his eyes. His eyes glittered with something akin to moisture. Even though he quickly hid that quickly, but she had notice it and it added warmth to her.
