I woke up early and went into the bathroom. Preparing for today's work. I wore a simple shirt gown with black belts.

I went into the kitchen and prepared oat for my breakfast. I grabbed my bag and went to work.

Things has been going well with me and Drake. Sometimes we giggled at each other, crack jokes together.

I was beginning to like him, or I should say I liked him.

I got to work and Michelle greeted me, I greeted her back and signed.

I made my way to the elevator and pressed to button number 1. I saw Mrs. Wood sitting at her table making some calls.

I smiled over to her and went into my office. I dropped my bag and headed for the third floor to make Drake's coffee.

I got to his door and knocked. I went in but didn't see him around.

Maybe he hasn't come, I thought within me.

I dropping his coffee on his table and turned to leave, when I felt some hands wrapped around my waist.

"Good morning beautiful", he murmured against my neck.

I shivered on his touch.

" Go- Good morning", I said.

I don't know why I always get nervous each time he touches me.

" We will be having a date this Saturday night", he said.

I froze and swallowed hard. I turned round to look at him and I could see in his eyes that he was begging me to accept.

"O- ok", I said.

He felt relieved and drew me into his embrace.

" Thank you Amanda", he murmured in my hair.

I went back into my office and did my daily routine. Making calls and schedules.

It was lunch time and I didn't feel like eating. It's seems I lost my appetite. I continued with my work and was grateful that Drake didn't come to my office and forced me to go with him for lunch.

I took my mobile phone and called Annie. Actually I was already missing her and her childish behaviours.

She picked on the first ring.

"Hello sweetie!!!", She squealed in the phone and she never stops doing each time she picks my call.

"How are you doing", I asked her.

"Am fine and you", she said.

" Pretty good", I grinned.

" How's work and that Mr. Hottie of yours", she asked chuckling.

" Fine!!, Uhm!!! Annie how about you come see me at home", I asked her.

" Ok girlie!! At your service" , she said.

I rolled my eyes the way she made it sounds like I asked her to work for me.

"Yeah! See you later", I said and hanged up.

It was getting to closing hour,so I stood up and packed my bag and other documents. I still haven't seen Drake after we talked this morning.

I wondered why I was bothering myself over him.

I got out of the building and took a cab straight home.

I got to my apartment and saw a fuming Annie standing at my doorstep.

I had forgotten I asked her to come visit me.

"Hey!! Girlfriend", I said trying to smile at her.

" Don't you girlfriend me", she glared.

" Do you know how long have been here", she said.

" I'm sorry", I pouted at her like a little kid.

I drew her into my embrace and she tried to struggle herself away from me but I held her in place and brushed her hair to the back.

"Have heard", she murmured.

I scattered her hair with my fingers and she giggled.

I unlocked my apartment and we got in.

We dropped our bags on the cushion and I made my way to bedroom while she went into the kitchen.

I changed my clothes and wore a crop top and bum shorts.

I made my way to the kitchen and saw Annie Munching on the bread and chocolate jam I kept in fridge.

"You can't do without food", I chuckled as I also put some jam on my bread also.

"And you never stop taking my breath with your shape", she stared at me.

My face turned red as I kept eating my bread.

"You know Amy, you should be greatful to God that you have a wonderful shape", she chuckled.

" And you too" , I said as I grabbed the bottle of milk.

"Drake asked me on a date", I blurted out.

" He did", she said as she choked and coughed with wide eyes.

" Yeah!, This Saturday", I said and sipped my milk.

" OMG!! And you are still standing here, let's get you something nice to wear", she squealed.

" And make you a goddess for Mr. Hottie", she laughed.

I rolled my eyes as she pulled me into the sitting room.

I saw a message popped in on my phone and was shocked at what I saw.

"My God!!!" I exclaimed.

"What", Annie said as she collected my phone from me.

"Oh! My!! My!!!" She said.

"Ten thousand dollars!!", She said loudly.

" Drake is really something else, why would I need that money because I want to go on a date with him", I said sarcastically.

" Oh! Yeah!! You need it", Annie said smirking at me.

"I don't need it!", I glared at her.

Annie pouted at me as she went into my room and brought out my laptop.

"What do you think you are doing" I said as I snatched my phone from her.

" What else", she rolled her eyes at me.

"Wait a second! Let me call him", I said as I dialled his number.

" Hello", I said.

"Hello beauty", he said and I was sure he was smirking.

"Why did you send that money" , I asked fiercely.

"Just felt like", he said casually.

"I don't need it and am sending it back right away", I said.

I looked at Annie who was throwing daggers at me.

" Oh!! Maybe I should increase it to $20,000 instead", he said.

" No! No!! You are not doing that", I said trying to be calm.

I could see the satisfied look on Annie's face when she heard mention of the increase.

"Then if you don't want me to, accept it or I send more", he said.

I rolled my eyes, " bye", I said.

And I could hear him chuckle.

I hanged up my phone only too see Annie burst into laughter.

"What's funny", I asked her I sat on the sofa.

"He is really something else", she squealed.

I raised my brows at her.

" You needed to see your expression Amy", she started laughing again.

"Whatever", I pouted as I threw the pillow cushion at her. She grabbed it immediately and stick her tongue out to me.

"What now!", I said as I rolled my eyes at her.

"What now, is that we get you a dress", she said.

She opened my laptop and search for some dresses.

" This is what we really need!!" , She said sarcastically.

" Let me see" I said.

She turned the laptop to me and it was a lovely black turtle neck gown and it will fit at the right places.

"It's great", I said.

"Yeah", she said laughing.

"Check out the back" she said pointing to the other one.

My eyes nearly popped out of its socket.

"Annie!!, No way hope you haven't bought it", I said almost pleading.

" Too late", she said.

The dress seems good at the front but the back is exposing with some open cut at the waist.

"Amy , you will look absolutely stunning in this dress", she said.

I rolled my eyes at her.

" It's just $4500 and have bought you a pair of matching heel and purse with it worth $4000" she said staring at the laptop.

" Get yourself something also with the rest", I said.

"Awwwn!!! Thank you sweetie", she said.

She bought a lovely white off shoulder gown for herself.

"It's time to go home", she said as looked at her wrist watch.

"Oh! Ok, you should start going. It's getting late", I said as I stood up.

I walked her to the door and pulled her in for a hug.

"I love you Annie", I said.

" I love you too!!", She said.

"Make sure you text me when you get home", I told her.

" Yeah!", She left and I locked my door.

I went into my bedroom and jumped on my bed.

I read some few books and I saw Annie's message popped in, telling me she just arrived home.

I texted her back and continued reading, until I dozed off.
