Chapter 16: Chapter 16

I went back into my office and started checking out important schedules.

I have been sitting there so long that I didn't notice when Drake came into my office.

I was still engrossed in what I was doing, until I heard someone drumming on my table.

"Tah! Dah!!", He squealed.

I jerked in my sit and looked like I saw a ghost.

*How did you get in", I said shockingly as I looked at his childish act.

"Through the door",he said smirking looking at me as if there were other ways to get in.

"I see your busy, that you missed lunch",he said as he moved closer to where I was and tugged my hair bedside my neck.

"Oh!!!", I looked at my time, it was already 3:30P.M.

Before I could say something, Drake pulled me up from seat and led me to the door.

"Let's get you lunch" he said with concern.

"But I haven't finished my work", I tried to protest by dragging my wrist from his hold.

*I'm your boss, I tell you when to work and when not too", he smirked.

I rolled my eyes as he chuckled. I followed him to where he parked his car.

He got into the drivers seat and I wondered if he was the one that wanted to drive.

"Will you just stand there", he said.

I woke up from my trance .

"Oh!! ", I muttered as I got into the car.

"Where's your driver?", I asked curiously.

"I gave him some break", he said.

"Ok", I said.

I never knew he was that kind to let someone off his work.

"What are you thinking", he said his eyes focused on the road.

"Uhm nothing", I said.

We drove in silence until we got to the restaurant, I knew it was expensive with the looks of it.

We got out of the car and made our way to the entrance. We got in and all attention were on us, some whispering to themselves.

Drake drew my chair out for me, I sat and thanked him. He also sat down making us to face each other.

The waiter came and attended to us, he went away to get our orders.

"You know it's not necessary taking me out to lunch yourself", I stated.

"It doesn't mean Amanda", he said.

I wanted to say something when the waiter brought our orders.

One look at him my mouth started watering.

We started eating and good heavens it was delicious.

I looked up to see Drake smiling at me.

"What" I said embarrassed.

"Nothing, it's just that when you like something you close your eyes and open your mouth party", he chuckled.

I just rolled my eyes at him and continued eating.

"And you also like it when I wrap my hands around your waist, I see that expression on your face", he said smirking.

My cheeks reddened and I tried to hide my embarrassment.

"No I don't", I said trying to make a face.

"Oh! Yes you do", he said.

I didn't want to argue any longer, so I continued eating my food.

We were done and Drake put the bills on the table.

My eyes widened when I saw the amount. It was $500.

"My God!! that money is too much", I said.

He looked at me surprised,"this place is different from the cafe you go to" , he smirked.

"Then don't bring me here again", I stated and walked faster away from him.

We got into the car and he placed his hands on my thigh and I glared at him.

"You know what Amanda stop being difficult", he said.

I just shrugged and looked out at the window.

"Anyway, thanks for the lunch", I said when I realized I haven't thanked him.

"You are welcome", he said smiling.

I could see him with the corner of my eyes.

We drove silently to the office and made our way to our office.

I got in and sat on my chair. I continued to do my work until it was almost 6:00P.M

Ooops!! I thought as I packed my things and went out the building. I called a cab and went home immediately.

I unlocked my apartment and went inside. I dropped my bag on the sofa and went into the kitchen to drink a cup of water.

I grabbed my bag and went into my room. I dropped my bag on my bed.

I needed a hot bath, so I went into the bathroom and prepared one.

I got into the bath tub and let the water sooth me through my skins.

I stayed there for what seems like hours, I got out of the tub and dried my body with my towel and made my way to my room.

I got near my bed and found out my phone was ringing. I took it and looked at it. It was Drake and he wanted to do video call.

I wanted to reject it but unfortunately my hand clicked on the answer icon.

What did the fuck, I thought within myself.

Drake POV

I was feeling bored when I got home, so I got into my room and changed before getting on bed.

I felt like calling Amanda, so I picked up my phone and wanted to do video call with her.

She picked on the second ring and my eyes widened when I saw her in towels only.

Water was still dripping from her body and I guess she had a bath.

"Hi", she said.

"How are you", I asked her.

"Pretty good" she said as she brushed her hair to the back.

Gosh!! She looked damn hot and sexy in that towel.

I wished I was there with her.

"Anything wrong" she smirked.

"No not all", I said.

If only she knows the great effect she has on me.

"Good night, I want to dress", she pouted.

"You can still dress", I said smirking.

She rolled her eyes and I heard her murmured "pervert".

She hanged up before I  could say anything.

I sent her message, telling her Good night.

I laid on my bed and couldn't get her image out of my face until I fell asleep.
