Ariana POV

I felt Sean’s arms wrapped around me while I was still standing staring at a photo in my mom’s room, it’s hard to believe that I just lost him forever, he didn’t even say goodbye to me as a sign that he was leaving. Tears clouded my vision when I saw the photo, Sean kissed the top of my head and inhaled the scent of my hair, I put the photo frame back in its place.

“I’ve been through this too.”

His tone was sad and hurt, I leaned against his front body closing my eyes and letting the tears roll down my face.

“We sleep here tonight,” I said then turned to face him then looked up at him, he wiped the tears on my face, what would happen if he wasn’t with me here now?? I will be much worse off than now, my hands lifted to grab both of his hands that were holding my face, clasped them then kissed one of his palms and leaned back in his hand.

“I’m glad you’re here with me when this happens,” I say sincerely. Sean kisses my forehead deeply, I close my eyes as he does so.

“I will always be with you, Ariana.”

Likewise with me, I will always be with him my heart is sewn with him, if I part with him I am like a torn cloth. We went out of my mom’s room to join Caroline, Ronald, my mom and dad-in-law, Benjamin and my friends from management also came, Eden and Carmen were also here, they all gave me hugs and sympathies. The other guests one by one began to leave my house, tonight I will sleep in my mom room.

I stared at the ceiling of this room as I lay on his bed, Sean came in and came over to me, he climbed into bed then I shifted towards him positioning myself into my favorite position, his fingers caressed my cheek we were silent for a few seconds.

“Sean,” I called, then I looked up to see his face. His fingers caressing my face stopped, we stared at each other for two seconds before I said what I wanted to say.

“I want to visit my father’s grave in Thailand,” I said, then there was a moment of silence between us, his golden net wide with shock but the shock suddenly disappeared and was replaced by fear. I know what fear he has, returning to set foot in a country that gave you so many bitter and heartbreaking memories is something that someone like Sean has a hard time doing.

“When do you want to go?”

It was my turn to be surprised, did he just agree to my request?? I stared into his golden net and looked for something to make him agree to my request.

“Are you serious??”

I want to make sure, I know this is a difficult thing for him, but I want to visit my father’s grave. Sean nodded with a weak nod I put one hand to his cheek, oh, my handsome husband with all his flaws but I love him.

“If you can’t come with me, Ronald or Caroline can.”

“No, I’ll accompany you there,” he answered quickly.

“You’ll be okay there??”

I want to be sure and want to know he sighs, this is hard for him but he wants to try to do it.

“I’ll try to tell you all the things I went through in that country, and that’s if you’ll listen and accept it, because I’ve been trying to accept them all my life.”

This is progress, should we consult Merlin’s doctor before we leave?? My senses raised a brow in approval of the idea, while my Inner Goddess shrugged her shoulders with her ‘Whatever’ expression.

“Shouldn’t we see Doctor Merlin before we go?” I suggested and he paused for a moment before nodding in the affirmative, I smiled weakly then his lips fell on mine, we kissed softly and unhurriedly and stopped when our lungs felt like they were running out of oxygen.

“You are everything to me, Ariana, you are my love, my life, my passion and all the things I need in this world, you are my new hope,” he said which made his golden eyes glow with the love and joy he had for me.

“You are also my new hope,” I replied with a smile, she was also my everything, we were sewn like a cloth, she was like my sun and moon, my day and night, my spring and winter. When I’m with him everything feels like spring, nice, warm and bright, but when he’s not with me the world is like winter, cold and dark without the sun.

“I want to hear about your efforts to feed the world and save it.”

Sean smiled and one brow lifted, his eyes softened like caramel, I like all the looks he gave me even when he was angry, they were all mine.

“Well, you’re interested in listening to my business activities?”

I smiled and nodded, I wanted to know more about him.

“Mom is a doctor and also a nutritionist at WHO, she is very active in humanitarian activities, she and I work together to help victims of war and countries that are still experiencing hunger and poverty.”

Mama Ramia is a woman who is gentle, sympathetic and also wise, I admire my mother-in-law.

“My company donates and provides a fleet for aid deliveries to war-torn and starving countries, I recently gave aid to UNICEF.”

“Have you ever been to those countries?”

“Yes, one of them went to Iraq and Zimbabwe in remote areas, those who are helpless need someone like me to help them, and I feel that helping them is my duty, besides because I have experienced things like them I feel that I am part of them. “

Oh! My husband who has an angelic heart but is so fragile deep inside, I tighten my arms around him.

I smiled then kissed the part where his heart was under the white shirt he was currently wearing, I lifted my body so that my face could be in line with his face.

I put my hand right where his heart is.

“And you have it, that’s what makes you special in my eyes and in everyone’s eyes, you’re my best man,” I continued looking at him deep into his soul, I saw him in there just like me, fragile and lonely, and I I want to be someone who is always there for him. Sean smiled with an amazed smile, then kissed his lips for a few seconds then looked back at him.

“You’re going to be a great dad,” I said again, we smiled happily I lay back in my favorite position he kissed the top of my head. I closed my eyes to go to sleep right away, this was a tough day for me, but when I was with Sean that empty feeling seemed to diminish, he was like something that could always calm me down in every situation I was in.
