He moved so quickly that Elly did not notice him. She was carried quickly to the passenger's side even before her scream came out.
Elly quietly fastened her seat belt. He threw a clean towel on her head. "Don't get my car dirty."
With her heart sad against his cold voice, she wiped her hair and arms. As soon as she put down the towel, a cup of hot coffee was in her hand.
Alex drove without looking at her and gave another order for the second time. "Don't be paranoid. I bought it for myself, but all of a sudden I don't want to drink it any more."
Elly turned her eyes towards him, she took a sip and her eyes sparkled. Coffee with sugar is not Alex' usual cup. She didn't tell him what is running on her mind, but she asked on purpose. "It's been 15 minutes after work did you came back to pick me up on purpose?"
"Yes." Alex admitted.
" Tomorrow is the charity auction. If you became sick, where can I find a another partner? I don't want to waste the dress."
Elly laughed at his very rational persuasion and nodded. "Okay, I agree to be your partner. But next time, let's switch to milk coffee. I don't like sugar."
The muscles on Alex' face stiffened in a matter of seconds, and no one but her, was aware of the change.
The auction was held at weekend. Elly walked with Alex, her elegant hand on his hand and her voice full of anxiety. "Do you think I'm really fit to come here?"
The people who came to the auction were all powerful figures, not only general managers from prestigious companies, but also the leaders and their entourage all of which were wealthy ladies and members of high society. She is just a little secretary and that fact can easily lead to misunderstanding.
Alex said arrogantly. "I'm here. What are you afraid of?"
"Aren't you afraid of causing unnecessary rumors?" Elly said. She smiled beautifully, and walked into the banquet hall with Alex.
Before the charity auction officially started, the bosses of various companies exchange greetings and have a few questions to ask their female counterparts. Of course, Elly can't avoid it. A general manager looked at Elly and squinted to inquire. "See? What's next?"
Elly answered politely without waiting for Alex' answer. "Hello, I'm the secretary of Mr. Alex."
This explanation made Alex frown, but this time he was not embarrassed. Gazing into her eyes, he recognized what was happening inside her mind.
"A young secretary can also get such kind of love, which must be more special today.

Elly knew that she doesn't have to be good natured when she felt that the other party was unfriendly. She said calmly, "Mr. Rusell, the person who spread the rumors misunderstood, I was just the babysitter Mr. Hagreaves' son."
" No one here can replace anyone."
"Do you expect me to trust an ordinary person like you?" Mr. Rusell watched Elly helplessly, constantly humiliating her. Elly is very beautiful and she can attract any man completely. As she watched Mr. Rusell leave, Elly's expression suddenly became lonely.
Alexs worriedly asked Elly. "Did he hurt you?"
"I envy Emily. She had a bad temper, but at least she has a father who always loves and protects her. I don't even remember who my parents are." With a smile, Elly twisted her hair with her fingers and said sadly.
Alex did not want to see her sad and bitter. Alex gently hugged her and said. "Don't think about it. Me and Kitten will stay with you and protect you no matter what. "
The warm words was absorbed by Elly's heart. A few seconds later, her heart returned to normal, she soon woke up from her daze and pushed away Alex.
Elly expressed her doubts. "How did you know I was here?" Obviously, no one saw her leave. Alex always finds her location.

Elly choked and changed the subject. "The charity auction is about to begin. Come on, let us go."
Alex saw the pink marks on her cheek, he walked into the charity auction without saying a word.
As soon as they entered the door, they attracted everyone's attention. A lot of people whispered.
"She's so beautiful! Who is she? How come I've never seen her before at a party?"
"Boss Hagreaves didn't end up with Miss Rusell, this girl is much sexier, that's why."
No one knew the true identity of Elly, they just think that both of them are matched.
Elly sat next to Alex. She felt restless as others looked curiously at her.
Alex reminded her coldly. "Lamborghini is focused on auctions and doesn't care what outsiders think."
It sounds easy, but it's hard to implement. She thought that he was ruthless and did not pay attention to others but she knew right now that she made a mistake in judging him.
Elly was disappointed at the auction. She lifted the placard according to Alex' request, just like a robot. She didn't realize that she had just bought a pair of earrings worth 10,000 dollars.
Elly was still in a daze until Alex put the earrings in her hand.
"What are you doing? Is this for me?"Her hands trembled a little and she almost dropped the earrings. "It's worth ten thousand dollars."she said, closing her mouth hurriedly. Alex misunderstood and asked frankly. "It's too expensive, isn't it?"
"No, it's not." She closed the box of the earrings and walked towards him. "Give it to the person who deserves it. I won't accept it"
"Keep it. Why do you have so much to say?" Alex got angry and touched her ear with his hand talking nonsense. "To the girl without earrings. If you don't accept it, I'll fire you!"
