Chapter 51: Chapter 51
Chapter 53 Battle of Wits and Bravery
Mrs. Elliot opened the door of the hotel room and was surprised to see what was inside. Wine bottles were scattered on the floor, quilts were thrown on the sofa, pillows fell on the floor, and glasses of water rolled at the feet of the chair.
Mrs. Elliot raised her feet to avoid stepping on the empty wine bottle on the floor and proceeded to check on John Elliot in his bedroom. It was empty, empty and a little cold, just like proving that the place had not been used for a long time.
There was no room for John's hesitation, and there was an unhappy cheer behind him.
"Mom, what are you doing here?"
John turned and looked at her with dim eyes and looked at her angrily. His restless face made her furious. "Mom, what are you doing here? You didn't come to see me just to ruin myself, did you?
Without answering, she turned and sat down, treated John as air. As a doctor, John was clean and tidy, but the chaos in the room proved that he ignored himself and she couldn't accept it.
His attitude made her so angry that the pillow hurriedly hit him on the head.
"What have you become? Are you still a human? You became a mess for a woman who doesn't deserve you. She's disgusting. I should have taken her away from you first."
John did not avoid her, he smiled painstakingly as his voice became bitter.
"Right! She left according to because of my mother's wishes. She broke up with me and suddenly, there was no news. I searched for the whole A city, but there was still no whereabouts of Elly. Are you satisfied now? Are you satisfied?"
As she heard her son's sarcastic voice, Mrs. Elliot threw the pillow over and became livid at the mention of Elly.
"I already told you, she doesn't love you. Now that you have nothing, no money or a job, she dumped you. Don't you realize her nature?"
When John heard her mother insulted Elly's dignity, he clenched his hand that trembled with anger, and he tried to restrain his emotions and control them with his calm voice.
"She's not the kind of girl who values money. I won't allow you to insult her!"
His mother giggled. "Oh, no! If she didn't value money, would she break up with you now? Then, how do you explain this?"
John's problems are both reasonable and difficult to explain. John was drunk again and confused, so he could not give her a convincing answer. His confused mind, his disheveled hair, and his irascible voice reiterated.
"Will you stop talking? Leave me alone, will you?"
"I'll leave you alone, and I won't interfere with your doctor's work. But you have to promise your mother that you will come back and take over your company in the future, okay?"
Currently, this is the best option for John, but he is tired of doing business. He is still interested in medicine and has no intention of listening to anyone. As a result, despite the financial exhaustion and criticism of his doctor's reputation, John is still reluctant to compromise.
If there is no promise, go to hell. I'm just temporarily suspended. I'll be back in the hospital soon."
"As a doctor, it's useless except to see a doctor and hold a scalpel. Do you think the medical accident will not happen again? Do you want to spend the rest of your life with an adventurous job?"
"That's my business. I don't mind, Mom." John stood up, took her by the hand, and led his mother to the door, pushed her away rudely.
"Mom, go home! I don't want to hear nonsense."
Before Mrs. Elliot objected, he slammed the door. Right now, he doesn't want to hear anything. What he cares about now is Elly.
"Your Majesty, where are you? No matter what happens, I won't let go of your hand." Elliot slipped on the floor and muttered to himself with his head in his arms.
He sat there as he pondered to see if he had missed any clues to find you. John Elliot realized that the coincidence was suspicious. After Elly disappeared, criticism of medical accidents was greatly reduced and the reporters waiting in the hospital no longer appeared.
Everything that happened suddenly and coincidentally pointed to push him and Elly to a corner. Suddenly an idea flashed through his mind. Elly disappeared and didn't come to work. Why did Alex Hargreaves, who was always by his side remain motionless? This is so unusual.
Maybe Alex knew the exact address of Elly. He knew that she's safe, so there's no problem. Under the rule of the boss of Hargreaves' group, Alex hid Elly where the information could not be found.
He must have something to do with the disappearance of Elly last summer! Thoughts became clearer and clearer, and John felt a glimmer of hope in his heart.
In front of the Hargreaves Group building, Alex saw John. His face was gray and he was not ashamed in the curious eyes of employees that entered and left the company.
Alex knew who he was waiting for. He came over confidently, treated John Elliot as air, and walked in front. When he passed, his arm was suddenly caught by a strong grip.
"Where did you hide her?"
His voice roared as if Alex had done something wrong to him. He thought that John's behavior was funny and his voice was cold as he answered him.
"Isn't it strange that you came to my company to find your fiancée?"
"I can't believe your secretary has disappeared for a few days and you haven't heard anything from her," John responded loudly, didn't care about the growing number of people around him.
Alex smiled sarcastically and satirized mercilessly. "The young master is really good at joking. The company that I own has thousands of employees at all levels. I don't have as much time as you, and I don't pay special attention to the information of a mere employee."
Not letting John Elliot react, Alex patted him on the shoulder and his voice was so low that only two people can hear.
"She doesn't love you, that does not love. I didn't keep her from you, the truth is she doesn't want to see you."
Alex's words obviously had a lot of power over John that made him pause for a few seconds. He sobered up as soon as he saw lex walked towards the elevator.
"Stop! Explain it to me." As John chased him angrily, he was one step behind. He watched the elevator door close and slammed on it rudely.
The security guard had been warned not to let John go to the company and rushed to get rid of him, and the communicator was ordered. General Manager Nicholas said, "Let Master John Elliot get up on his own."
The security guard looked at John that was frantically pressing the elevator and silently returned to his post.
When John Elliot got out of the elevator, Secretary John stood outside and waited. He said politely. "Master John, Mr. Alex Hargreaves is waiting for you in the reception room."
According to the instructions given to John, Alexis was seated on the coffee table with tea in the vestibule.
"What's your deal? John Elliot asked anxiously.
Alex glanced at him and said carelessly. Shake it.
Elliot sat down reluctantly, and the slow voice was the voice of Alex.
"What do you think your sad situation will bring to Elly? There was only trouble and trouble, and she was tired of what she had to face every day."
"I don't believe you." 'He's confident that Elly won't leave him for such a simple thing, John said as he stared at him.
"Of course, there are more important, vital, and special reasons why she left you. The ex-husband of Elly countered as he emphasized every word. "She's in love with me." He added.
As soon as this sentence was over, John rushed to Alex's seat and grabbed his collar. He answered him with his fist as he punched him over and over!
Alex, as if premeditated, put one hand on his fist, looked into her angry red eyes, and slowly emphasized it again.
"I said, she's in love with me."
John stretched out his hand, elbowed Alex, and shouted.
"I won't allow you to go near her. Elly loves me."
Alexis gritted painfully, roared, threw him out, and fought back with another punch. The two people are like beating with dementia. However, John Elliot is a doctor, his physical strength is not as big as Alex Hargreaves because Alex often has time to exercise.
Alex held John to the edge of his mouth. With a pair of his hand, he wiped the blood on the corner of his mouth with the other hand. His eyes are like a ferocious eagle that was full of mockery.
"Young Master, you are like a mad dog. You are so pathetic!"
John freed himself from the hands of Alex. He wanted to continue to get mad but Alex's words startled him.
"Elly took the initiative to call me and beg me to let her send away. Is this enough to prove who she loves?"
John Elliot was dumbfounded. Elly took the initiative to summon Alex? Why? Does she really love him again? Does everything go back to where it started three years ago?
Since he was surprised, Alex stood up and slowly rearranged his clothes, his arrogant tone full of victory.
"Young Master John, you two broke up and you should pursue your own happiness. No one has anything to do with anyone. You should go back to be the filial son of the Elliot Family and continue to meet Sarah Olsen, a woman arranged by your mother, and improve your relationship with.
"As for Elly, I will be responsible for her future life."
