Everyone present turned pale when they heard Kitten's words. Emily sat in front of Kitten, clasped his shoulder and shouted.

"Honey, why did you lie? I didn't push Elly." Kitten was right, Emily dared to do it because she looked around and there was no one in sight.

"Go away. Let me go!" Kitten was afraid of being scolded. In recent days, Emily had been very kind to him and now she scolded him harshly. It reminded him of his childhood.

"You can't lie." Emily's words were interrupted when Kitten scratched her hands.

The frightened witness kicked her on the arm and scratched her to get rid of her. "You pushed my mother! I saw it with my own eyes. I'm not lying."

Alex slapped Emily's face. He held Kitten in his arms. The child turned his little face to his father's chest and his hands was fastened on Alex' neck.

Her eyes were filled with fear and her whole body trembled. She could not even lift her arms under his cruel, sharp eyes.

"We were too kind, that's why you abused our generosity, right?"

The cold words pierced Emily's heart. She tried to shake her head and beg, her face was pale .

She did not want to go on living. Alex threw her to the ground like a rag and turned around with Kitten in his arms.

Emily's body was thrown to the floor, and the pain she felt shrouded the horror in her heart. Out of fear, she pounced on Alex' leg. She knelt and begged painfully. Regardless of the look in everyone's eyes.

"Alex, please forgive me. I didn't mean to. I really didn't mean to hurt Elly."

Alex kicked her hard and tried to lift his leg but Emily clung to it again. Her eyes were on fire and she looked like a disgusting, twisted and creepy person

His anger made Emily tremble unconsciously and her white fingers still tried to grab the corner of his trousers.

Alex shook his legs hard and stepped on the palm of Emily's hands, which made her cry with pain bitterly. Alex stepped harder and increased the pain in her arm.

"Are you scared now? You'd better pray to God. If anything happens to my wife and my son, I'll make your life worse than death and I will make you suffer hundreds of thousands of times.

With these words, Alex turned around with Kitten and looked intently at the door of the emergency room, ignoring her existence.

Emily lay on the ground. She was so frightened that she dared not to even think about it and her body trembled unconsciously.

The passage of time tortured people and the moment the operating room door opened; the doctor was immediately surrounded by all the staff outside. They were all frightened.

"The wounds outside the mother's body was already treated" The doctor was familiar with the enthusiasm of the patient's family, but still announced the bad news. "I'm sorry, the baby in the patient's belly didn't make it."

The doctor looked at the face of the man holding a child. "This miscarriage made the possibility of future pregnancy very low and the patient may not be able to have children in the future." he added.

Alex suddenly loosened his hold on Kitten. Fortunately, butler Geno responded in time to keep the child from falling to the ground.

Alex punched the doctor's face. He grabbed the doctor by the collar and shouted loudly. "Are you fake doctors? How did the baby die? The hospital paid you to save lives, but..."

If Alex would punch the doctor one more time, the bridge of the doctor's nose will be broken.

"Are you crazy? "We did our best. The patient fell hard, the pregnancy has not yet entered a stable period. A small collision may led to a miscarriage, imagine what will happen if the pregnant person fell down the stairs." The doctor yelled, too. He was rescued from Alex' aggressive hands by nurses and paramedics around him.

"What the hell are you doing? The doctor did his best, the problem was that the patient lost a lot of blood and when she came to the hospital it was already too late.

The nurse and the guard scolded Alex.

Alex pushed the nurse out of the way so rudely. He wanted to rush up to the doctor and swear at him because he couldn't save his baby.

Housekeeper Geno and staff also rushed in anxiously to stop their boss. The chaos ended only when the section chief and security guards came. The protected doctor was escorted away, and the section chief kept on bowing his head and apologizing to Alex. After all, his reputation and influence was too well-known. Even the hospital staff would have to bow their head and admit their mistake.

A sense of calmness was restored in the corridor.

The news was like a thunderous slap in Alex' face and after letting off his anger, Alex staggered against the wall but he did not fall. His shoulders were down because of the loss.

Housekeeper Geno watched Alex' silence helplessly and he wanted to keep his thoughts away for fear that he might disturb him.

The housekeeper couldn't take his eyes off his boss, he kept on wondering. Why did the miscarriage had to happen? What did they mean when they said they cannot save the child? He didn't understand.

Alex thought it was just a dream and what he had just heard was not true. Just last night, he and Elly were still talking about what name they would give their baby after he was born. Will she be like her or will she be like him?

But now, the child was gone.

Housekeeper Geno explained what happened to Kitten. The child burst into tears and he plucked up his courage to go to his Dad.

He patted him on the shoulder, but there was no response. His black round eyes brightened on his stubborn face and he put his hands around Alex' face and asked him to raise his head to him.

"Dad, you still have me." Kitten didn't see his father answer. With his small voice he said to his father, "Dad I know that you are badly hurt but I know that you are stronger than me."

Secretary Gerald ran to the hospital when he heard the news and it broke his heart to see what happened. He came over to provide Alex with more motivation and let Alex gain a firm foothold at this time.

"Fortunately, Elly is safe. I know you are in pain, but now you need to cheer up as Elly's strength."

Gerald sighed and said. "She needs you."

Reminded of his weakness, Alex seemed to be wake up from his depressed state. He suppressed the outflow of emotions in his heart.

At the same time, Elly was pushed out of the room in a state of coma and she looked pale. Alex followed, he stroked her face with sad eyes. "I hope I can share and bear all your pain." Alex said with so much emotion on his face.

He walked to the door of the ward and instead of going in, he turned around and looked at a group of people next to him.

Emily instinctively turned to escape but his eyes was angrily focused on her. Her whole body trembled because of fear.

Without letting anyone react, he quickly blocked Emily's escape. He grabbed her by the neck and that startled everyone.

"You must pay for what she has suffered."

Emily held his hand and tried to squeeze out a word. "Please believe me, it was an accident. I didn't push her. Please wait until she wakes up."

Alex watched her face turn more and more purple and her words got out of hand. He threw her like a piece of cloth to Secretary Gerald and gave orders.

"Close the door and I'll deal with her later when Elly wakes up."
