Chapter 223: Chapter 223
Chapter 225 Half True and false
In order to thoroughly drive Emily out of Peter's house and sever the connection between the two-faced woman and her son, Ms. Minda did not hesitate to risk her life to bet.
Mrs. Minda believes that her son would not go against her will. As a result, Peter stopped, he went upstairs with his suitcase. He stopped in the middle of the stairs, and looked at Mrs. Minda with indifferent eyes from above.
"Emily is already my wife. You have to accept this no matter what. Even her own life, she did not cherish enough to show that, and I do not really miss you."
Peter went upstairs, leaving behind Mrs. Minda's sad lower body.
At the Entertainment company.
Linda missed a lot of missed calls from Secretary Gerald because her work was so boring that she didn't notice the phone calls, her phone was in silent mode because of the matchmaking of some important contracts of the new artists.
After she checked the upcoming itinerary of the two new artists for the last time, Linda straightened her shoulders. The top of her head slammed against something very painful, and she crouched on the seat and hugged her head, she saw Dimitri hit her forehead and fell behind. He twisted her legs and grabbed her hands on the next desk, but before it was too late, the back of her head hit the edge of the desk, and the notebook and pen tube splashed the fence on her face.
The situation was chaotic and funny.
Linda ran to the clutter of Dimitri, panicked to grind a scratch from the corner of her eye and ran from the corner of her eye to the wing of her nose.
"Oh my God, you're hurt. Let me see." Linda was examining the wound, she put on a personal bandage, and then pulled him up.
"Dimitri." Dimitri suddenly let out a cry of pain and fell unsteadily on her. Both of them were lying on another table, and everything on it fell.
"What happened to you? Where does it hurt?"
I" just fell. I hit my leg. I feel a little tingling." Dimitri lay quietly on Linda and did not intend to stand up.
Without doubt, Linda kindly sat him in a chair and wanted to call a car to take him to the hospital, but the road was breezy and short.
"Little pain, it will be over tomorrow. Manager Linda, don't be busy, it will bring shame on our men's wings." Dimitri said.
She laughed at his wit and picked up the things on the floor.
The eyes of Dimitri flashed a dangerous light, but he covered it up very quickly.
"Does you still have to work overtime?"
"All right, I'm done. Now go home."
"Could you help me down the hall? There's something wrong with my leg."
"Yes. Yes." Without doubt, Linda took his hand over her shoulder and walked slowly out of the elevator. On the way, she kept reminding the rest of the work. "Do you remember the schedule for tomorrow? Recording starts at 5: 00 in the morning. Remember the time."
Dimitri cleverly agreed, and when he came out of the elevator, his eyes caught a glimpse of a man's shadow. In a low voice, he dragged himself and whispered to the two people to listen.
He saw the corner of her eye had a scratched. "Manager Linda, do you have any scratches in your eyes?"
Linda hurriedly turned to face to face, she was holding her eyes and checked it carefully. "Let me see. It scrapes quickly and doesn't leave a scar, but it can be dangerous if it pierces the eye."
Beside Secretary Gerald, he kept calling Linda, but there was no answer. After work, he stood waiting at the gate of Entertainment Company, he was watching each other leave one by one.
Because he was in such a hurry, he did ask one of Linda's colleagues and was told that she seemed to have to work overtime today. Relieved, because she had nothing to do, Gerald insisted on standing in front of the company, as he wait for her.
Gerald was waiting for more than two hours before he saw Linda come down, he went straight into the hall and happened to see Linda was being carried out from the elevator by a strange man.
It took two seconds for him to react. Secretary Gerald rushed over to ask questions, but he saw the man turned around and bent down to put his arms around Linda. From Gerald's point of view, Linda was hugging a strange man.
Linda was relieved after carefully examined the corners of her eyes. "It doesn't matter. Scratches won't get into my eyes."
Before she had finished, she felt a strong arm, it pulled her and her body poured it into a hot chest.
"Who dares?" Linda rubbed her red nose. Because of the pain, she raised her head and shocked to see Gerald. She asked. "Why are you here?"
"Why can't I go?" The idiot also saw Gerald's anger. "Why are you two hugging?"
Linda, who had always been spoiled by him, was suddenly questioned in an unpleasant tone. But she made it very clear.
"I hurt Dimitri's leg and cut his face, so help I him out to go to his car and hold what? Stop talking nonsense."
He heard her affectionate address, Gerald looked coldly same with the breeze of the road, and could stand straight without handrails, and he looked at Dimitri who like he had no pain in his legs. Gerald observe him sternly.
"She is your manager, not a babysitter. As an artist, you need to keep your external image. If they have seen you two now, it will bring trouble to you and to Linda. Like what? She has to turn around so that she can clean up with you. You should have a sense of professionalism."
With that, Secretary Gerald grabbed Linda's slender wrist, pushed her to the car and started driving fast.
"What are you doing? Gerald! Are you crazy?" It happened so fast that Linda asked in amazement after a short drive.
Secretary Gerald gave a cold, expressionless face.
"The question you need to ask is me. You dare to let another man touch you and hug you so naturally? Public places are still so close. If the two of you are in private places where there is no people, do you have to be so close? "
Linda vaguely recognized that Gerald was jealous, but the more she listened to him, the more her blood rose to the top of her head. His bossy absurdity annoyed her and she was controlled, and she was distressed by his lack of trust.
"Drive me back to the office. I don't want to talk to an unreasonable man like you."
"Do you want to go back to that half-season artist?"
"Don't talk about my artist in that voice. I don't want to talk to you. Take me back. His wound hasn't been examined yet."
The anger in Linda's heart was still there. Everything was so simple that there was no need to make a noise, but as long as the two people open their mouth, they collide again and again.
"Don't you want to talk to me? You just like talking to him, don't you? Do you want to live with him?" Gerald, was very disdainful and his voice was very sharp.
"I repeat, you are an artist's manager, not a babysitter. A broad-shouldered elder had to be supported by a little girl, which was so humiliating. These small wounds are like mosquito bites. Didn't he use them so much that he couldn't take care of them himself?" Gerald mocked her.
"Turn around!"
"No, no!" Gerald's tone was firm and final.
Twenty minutes later, the car stopped in front of Linda's House. She got out of the car, wrinkled her face and slammed the door.
"What else do you want?" Linda watched Gerald got out of the car madly. "We are going to wait for him to leave. We'll drive the car back and see if Dimitri can drive back on his own. You're worried about the wound on his leg."
"I'll see you home" Gerald can almost read her mind. When he got out of the car, he followed her and stopped at the door.
Gerald watched her enter the password and stood quietly behind Linda.
"Now that you have sent me home, do you still want to move it in?"
"It's not difficult for me to have a cup of tea or coffee." Gerald suddenly nodded.
She was out of breath and said she was angry. She stepped hard on his leg and screamed. "There is no tea or coffee at home." After that she slammed the door shut.
Secretary Gerald watched the door closed, reached out to knock a few times, finally put it down and stood outside for about half an hour. After he make sure that she didn't sneak out, he turned around and left calmly. "I'll bring tea and coffee tomorrow."
On the other side of the door, Linda confirmed that Gerald left already. She turned and sat on the sofa and flew away angrily.
When she regained her emotional autonomy, she called to ask Dimitri.
"Don't worry. When I got home, the wound on my leg ended overnight." The laughter of Dimitri echoed on the phone. "I was just thinking about what Gerald said. He's right. I'm a man who relies too much on his beautiful manager. It's humiliating. I hope he didn't misunderstand us? "
Linda was ashamed of Dimitri's indulgence, and she felt guilty. "Is there anything to be misunderstood about us? You were scolded for no reason. I'm the one who needs to apologize. I just hurt your leg, scraped your face, and wronged you."
"Okay, what kind of hospitality do you have?" Dimitri said tactfully. "I just had dinner in a fancy restaurant and accepted an apology."
The famous passer-by Dimitri would receive her invitation to dinner. "Will I pay the bill?"
He said, "Yes, I agreed."
The phone call ended happily.
Dimitri hung up the phone and watched the screen turn black gradually, as he revealed a secret meaning at the corners of his mouth.
The moment he got out of the elevator, he saw the magnificent Gerald, he was rushing towards him. Once a person was jealous, even if he was as witty as an old fox, he was easily dominated by emotion.
"You will be ecstatic when you think of the angry expression on your face when you left. Don't underestimate the intrigue of all these years."
Dimitri showed a proud and arrogant smile.
