Chapter 219 New found friend

Elly didn't pay attention to the advice of the security guard. Alex' company was in crisis and that is the reason why she stood resilient. Waiting for a person was only a small thing.

Elly naively thought that if Aron would return the contracted land, Hargreaves Company problems would be solved. When in love, people would often lose their brains and Elly's case was no exception.

Elly made up her mind and she sent a message to Aron. "It doesn't matter if you don't want to see me now. I'll wait for you at the company gate until you come down." Elly texted.

There was a new message in his phone. Aron hesitantly picked up his mobile phone and read the text message. He frowned, threw his cell phone on the table and did not reply.

At this moment, he did not want to let Elly waver his resolve.

He sat at his desk and tried to concentrate on his work, but his impatience betrayed him. Aron scolded himself and went to the window.

He looked at the girl who was waiting at the door of the company through the transparent glass window. Even her figure was steady in the drizzle.

Aron's heart was darkened by jealousy and pain. His voice was full of sadness, "You'd do anything for Alex, wouldn't you?"

His feelings were blurred with jealousy. He was sad because of the rain. He looked at Elly's thin clothes and knew that she felt cold.

Dimitri was suspended from filming because of rumors. He felt very bored and he finally couldn't stand it. He wore a costume that covered his face and he snuck out for a walk.

In the street, his hand clenched the hat he was wearing and he looked very suspicious. He was going to go shop downtown but when he passed by the Torch Company, his eyes were attracted by the figure at the gate of the building.

"I know this girl. Where have I seen her before?" Dimitri whispered to himself, he touched his chin and frowned at Elly's face. It took him a while to remember. "Isn't she a friend of Linda? What is she doing out in the rain?"

With curiosity, Dimitri came over and patted Elly on the shoulder.

When Elly felt someone suddenly touched her, Elly almost jumped in surprise. When she looked behind her, she saw a person that was covered from head to toe. She immediately felt fear, which made her step back. She looked at the other person warily.

"Who are you?"

Her frightened eyes had Dimitri realize that he looked frightening. He hurriedly took off his mask and sunglasses. He smiled and said with a straight face, "Hello, I am Dimitri."

"You're an artist, right?" Elly didn't know much about the Entertainment village star but she knew his name through Linda's rumors. After a few moments, she realized something strange and asked the question suspiciously. "Do you know me?"

"The fiancée of the famous "Boss Alex? How could I not know the news? I know you are a good friend of Linda."

When Elly heard him call Linda intimately, she knew that he had a good relationship with Linda and she smiled amicably.

Dimitri looked at the building behind her and asked Elly in surprise. "What are you doing out there? Why don't you go inside?"

Elly bowed her head and answered reluctantly. "Nothing, It's personal."

Dimitri knew her identity, so he didn't ask more questions. He just came over curiously to chat a few words with no intention of entanglement. He helplessly watched her drenched clothes. Dimitri unwittingly took off his coat, he stretched his hands with the coat and asked her to get it. "Don't let yourself get wet."

His clever behavior surprised her. Seeing that Elly motionless, he smiled. "If you don't take this coat, I'll raise my hand until you're satisfied."

"Thank you!" Elly dared not hesitate and was grateful to pick up his coat. After all, he was a friend of Linda and he was not a bad guy.

Dimitri watched her put on his coat and said, "You are Linda's friend, so it's like you are also my friend, it is normal to help a friend in need." If Linda knew that I saw you drenched in wet clothes under the rain and did nothing, she would have scolded me all day and night."

Elly's mood was startled by Dimitri's exaggerated joke. He was a straightforward person and he liked to care about Linda's friends, it will be so.

"How can I return you the coat?" She asked hurriedly.

Elly looked gratefully at Dimitri and sighed in her heart. The artist seemed to have a good heart. No wonder he was so enthusiastic about his work.

However, she did not know that Aron stood above them and saw everything through the window, his heart hardened at the scene he saw outside.

A fire of unprovoked anger burned in his heart.

Elly's cell phone rang. She looked at Aron's name on the screen and smiled. She thought he had changed his mind.

"You finally agreed to meet me?"

The response was in an indifferent tone. "Go away or I'll call Alex!"

"Are you threatening me?" Elly's eyes were dim.

"I can try."

The call was disconnected. She left the area like a threat. If Alex knew that she came here today, he would be very angry with her.

When Alex got off work, butler Geno seemed to look at him eagerly but was hesitant to speak.

"What happened?" Alex asked suspiciously.

"Ms. Elly is ill."

"What? She's fine this morning. Why is she sick?" Alex walked even faster and came to Elly's room. He carefully pushed open the door and saw her lying unconscious on the bed.

He walked lightly to the bedside, he touched her forehead and he was startled because it was hot.

"Did you call a doctor?"

"I called. The doctor is on his way."

"Okay." Alex sat by the bedside.

Housekeeper Geno bowed his head and walked out, leaving room for the two.

Alex' eyes were fixed on the man's coat placed on the sofa beside the bed. He wanted to check the clothes but he chose to suppress all his discomfort and gone back to her to observe her condition.

The doctor had not been to Hargreaves family house for a long time. He was urged housekeeper Geno to run to the villa and now, he was out of breath.

"Why are you so slow?"

"My young master! I'm on my way, Uncle Geno asked me go to home and get my tools. Can't you see I'm sweating?"

Lazy to listen to his doctor and good friend, Alex stood aside and muttered to himself. "Hurry up! What happened to her? Everything was fine this morning."

The doctor checked her temperature, opened the blanket and immediately understood why.

She got wet from the rain, caught a cold and had a fever.

"Rain?" Alex looked at the housekeeper and asked. "Where did she go?"
