Chapter 204: Chapter 204

Chapter 206 Drunk Linda

The cry for help made people around him look at Gerald with vigilance. He explained awkwardly with a dark face. "This is my girlfriend. She drank too much."

Linda had just been dominated by alcohol, her face was flushed with blood reflux. Her nerves were not awake, and her arms struggled with reflexes. Secretary Gerald slapped her ass hard at a faster pace. He was in trouble because he was afraid that someone might call the police.

In the peeping eyes of many people, he secretly scolded Linda.

He tucked her on the passenger seat and fastened her seat belt. Unexpectedly, Linda vomitted when the car started running. The front of the car was covered with yellow dirt, some also fell on the floor of the car.

Secretary Gerald was regretting his decision to care for her. He shouldn't had crazily looked for her in the street, he shouldn't had hit strangers, and he shouldn't had let her sit in the car.

He tried to quell anger in his chest. He called Alex. "I saw Linda. I will ask Elly to take care of her."

"Did you find her? Great! Now we can rest assured." Alex made no mention of Elly coming to pick up Linda.

Secretary Gerald felt suspicious and asked on his own initiative. "Boss Alex, where is Elly? When will she arrive?" Elly was his only hope of getting rid of the troublesome girl lying on the couch.

"You take care of her and go to bed early. We're sleeping early also. I can't come." Alex hung up before he had a chance to refuse him.

Gerald looked at the mobile phone screen, he looked as if he was about to make a fuss. He glanced at the mess in his car, clenched his teeth and drove to the nearest hotel.

At the Hargreaves family home, Alex went to the living room and found Elly asleep on the sofa. He approached her, sat beside her and patted her on the face. "Good morning. Wake up and go back to the bedroom where you can't catch a cold."

She opened her hazy eyes and stared at him blankly, and it took a few seconds for her panic to return. "How's it going? Did they find her?"

"She was already found. She's with Secretary Gerald."

Elly was curious. "Did you ask Mr. Gerald to find her?"

"No, he came voluntarily. I don't even know how he knew about wht happened."

"Isn't that a coincidence? TV shows aren't that coincidental, are they?" Elly looked at Alex' cunning smile and was stunned.

He giggled, took her in his arms and kissed her on the head. "Are you relieved now? Can I put you to bed?"

After Linda was found, Elly was also sleepy and let Alex carry her to his room.

In the hotel, Secretary Gerald stayed up almost all night.

Linda vomited not only in the car, but also all over the hotel room. Gerald cleaned up for two hours. Afterwhich, he was so tired that he sat on the sofa.

He thought Linda would sleep obediently after vomiting, but before long, he saw her go out of the bedroom and pass obliquely in front of Gerald. She suddenly turned around and jumped over to hold him tightly.

Secretary Gerald heard the murmur of Linda before he could revive his soul. "Why don't you like me? Why can't I find someone who loves me? Am I that bad?"

He didn't know what to do.

Secretary Gerals was hugged by a drunk person who smelled of alcohol and stench. He patted her on the back and coaxed her. "Yes, good. You'll find someone who loves you. Stop hugging. You're suffocating me."

It was a sleepless night and as soon as dawn came, Gerald was so tired that he fell asleep.

Within thirty minutes, however, there was a terrible scream that pierced his ear.

Linda was awakened by a terrible dream. In her dream, she found that she didn't have a piece of cloth, she took the initiative to go to a man's bed and rode him crazily.

Suddenly, the first thing she did after screaming was to put a blanket over her body. Although she was not bare, she was wearing a hotel bathrobe. Looking at the strange scenery around her, she guessed that it was a hotel. She didn't remember how she got here, let alone who changed her clothes.

Gerald was exhausted and sleepy, and even after her heard her loud screams, he just put a pillow over his head and slept again.

After a short silence, Linda walked out of the bedroom and saw a person sleeping on the sofa. All the speculations poured into her mind, and she could not help burning with anger.

The pillow on Gerald's head was snatched and then he was smashed in the face.

"Bastard! I will kill you! Linda thought it was too bad to hit this person with a pillow. she squinted for a knife or something sharp.

Gerald sat up frowning and looked at Linda. She was staring fiercely around the room. He held his forehead and sighed. "Miss Linda, I'm begging you. Can I get some sleep? You tortured me all night last night and my body was still sore."

His thoughtful words made her stiffen and she stammered."Why are you here? Did you take me to the hotel last night?"

She had no recollection of seeing Gerald last night.

Gerald thought she wanted to thank him, so he said generously. "You're welcome. I took you to the hotel."

A slap in the face interrupted Gerald's words, and it made his drowsiness disappear completely. He sat up straight, stared at her, and cursed angrily. "Are you out of your mind? I am kind enough to take you to the hotel. If you don't want to thank me, how dare you hit me? If I didn't get there in time yesterday, you will share the night with that chubby director you were with.

"You are a shameless scumbag."

"What do you mean? Why are you scolding me?" Gerald rubbed his neck. "I took care of you all night, and you repay you with fighting and swearing early in the morning?"

Linda bit her lips, her face was shy, and she no longer had the ferocious tiger spirit. She gritted her teeth and asked. "Are you used to taking off other people's clothes when you're taking care of them?"

After ten seconds, he suddenly understood and shook his head to explain. "You're so delusional! Yesterday you were covered in vomit. I asked the hotel waitress to change your clothes."

"Waitress?"

"If you ask the receptionist, she will answer you." His voice did not dampen his anger. "I should have made you sleep in your clothes that was full of vomit. If it wasn't for Elly, I wouldn't be interested in you. Cold, violent girl."

Moved for a few seconds after listening to Gerald's criticism, she immediately broke out. "Who asked you to take care of me?"

Gerald was so enraged that he couldn't say a word. He looked at her and stood in the bathroom.

"What will you do?"

"Do you really want to know?" Gerald came back and asked frankly.

Linda knew how stupid she was and threw him the pillow in her hand.

When he came out of the bathroom, Gerald looked much more considerate. Without looking at her, he went straight to the door.

Linda immediately became nervous and shouted hurriedly. "Hey! Are you really leaving?" She can't find her handbag and now she had no money and no phone. It would be a problem if hewould leave her here.

"Do you want me to stay and argue with you?" In an impatient tone, he looked at the clock, worried about being late for work.

Linda muttered to herself. "I thought you were a gentleman. Shouldn't you bring me home safely?"

Gerald sighed and endured his fate. "You can change your clothes. I'll wait for you."

He personally took Lindato the door of her apartment, and then continued to take a taxi to the company. His car was at the carwash and he can't drive it.

As she watched the car drove into a distance, Linda smiled.Sha thought of the kindness hidden behind his hard face. She wanted to share her feelings with others.

When she saw Linda's phone call, Elly was not surprised and asked her. "Have you ever had a drink?"

"Okay, I'm fine." Linda was a little embarrassed, but fortunately no one has seen her red face now. "I have something to tell you."

Elly guessed something when she heard a sweet tone in the voice of her friend. "Yesterday's Alex' secretary, Mr Gerald took care of you, right?"

"How did you know?" Linda narrowed her doubts. "Did you work with someone to get Gerald to save me from the new director? I think it's strange, too, but how did he know where I am and what happened?"

"Don't accuse me unjustly." Knowing that he had been misunderstood, Elly quickly denied it. "I don't know where you are. You didn't say the name of the bar hung up last night. Alex sent a department down to find you. I don't know how Secretary Gerald found you."

"And then you left me in his care? You did it on purpose!" Linda scolded, hiding her heart in her chest that was beating violently.

Elly was ashamed and she confessed. "I will not admit that I did it on purpose, but I know that Secretary Gerald is a decent man, which is why I trust him with you."

"I was wrong. Don't be angry. I'll be sure to pick you up next time and I won't give you to any man, no matter how good they are, okay?"

Linda deliberately refused to answer her. She knew in her heart that if Elly had not been invited last night and Alex had not sent someone to look for her, she would have fallen into the hands of the new director and her life would be miserable.

"Stop it. I have to thank you."

Elly was dumbfounded before she could speak.

"Well, after what happened last night, I found that Gerald was not as uncomfortable as I thought."

Elly was curious about the attitude of Secretary Gerald when she heard those words. Linda didn't care about her reaction and went on.

"You laughed because I suddenly realized that he was polite and not a bad guy, right?"

"No, I'm not laughing. I'm just glad my beautiful friend is starting to tremble."

Linda heard Elly's sarcastic tone on the phone and Linda blushed and became acutely shy. "Don't scare me. How will you know?" She denied it, but the temperature on her face was getting hotter and hotter.

In Hargreaves's.

Secretary Gerald, who had just got out of the elevator, was exhausted and haggard, which attracted the attention of his colleagues.

"Haven't you had a good rest lately?"

"A little bit." He thought about last night and hid head started to ache terribly. Who can rest well if you were with a creepy drunk person?

He went straight into the conference room to prepare all the materials for the next meeting. As soon as he left, Alex pushed the door open.

Alex looked at Secretary Gerald's eyes. Alex deliberately amused. "Looks like you had a good time last night!"

Secretary Gerald turned his eyes to refute his words, sat in a chair and he complained. "You don't have any idea know how bad she drinks. My head is about to explode at the thought of it."

Alex put his hand over his mouth and pretended to cough to hid a smile. The senior manager pushed open the door, entered and interrupted the conversation between the two men. Secretary Gerald quickly hid his full "expression" and stood upright behind Alex.

Alex' face was as cold as ever. Recently, he was in a good mood and was more patient with subordinates who made mistakes at work. People inside the company were talking about the reason for his change.

As soon as the meeting was over, Alex received a call from Elly.

"Have you finished? Shall I pick you up?"

The two started dating this morning and had lunch together. There was always someone in the family who was harassing the privacy of the two and Alex made excuses to date her and make their relationship more intimate.

Elly had nothing to do today. "I've had enough. I have something to tell you."

Thirty minutes later, she went downstairs to the amusement of her colleagues when she received a message from him.

Alex stood by the car with a bouquet of red roses in his hand.

Under the jealous eyes of many people around her, she happily accepted the bouquet of flowers. Why do you want to buy flowers? Today is not a holiday.

He held her nose in a loving voice. With your permission, I will send you a bouquet of flowers every day. I want to turn every day of our future into a festival of love.

The sudden love words caught her off guard, her heart was racing and she stammered. "Where did you learn that?"

Mu Ying adjusted his tie with a proud expression. "Words and deeds comes from the heart."

She nodded and urged. "Come on, I'm starving."

He watched her sit quickly in the car, Alex frowned. "Aren't you moved to tears?"

The two of them came to the newly opened Western restaurant and thought it would be a pleasant lunch. Elly planned to tell Alex that Linda began to be happy with Secretary Gerald.

Suddenly, the attendant poured the red wine glass on Elly's white skirt. His face became frightened and he bent down to apologize.

"Excuse me, I didn't do it on purpose." He is just a restaurant waiter and her luxurious skirt was worth a year's salary.

Alex yelled at the waiter while he was helping Elly with a towel. "Waitress? If you don't know how to serve food, I'll call the manager for him to work."

Elly patted Alex' hand, which "All right, don't be angry. I can go to the bathroom. It's just a little stain. "
