Chapter 135 Jealousy message

In the face of Elly's concern, Aron laughed happily. "There's a little problem that hasn't been solved. I'm afraid of working overtime all night. Do you have to work late also?"

He glanced at his watch and said with a start. "Now, it's not safe for you to go home alone anymore. I won't rest assured. Let's go. I'll take you back first and then I'll go back to the company." He took his hand off the mouse and stood up to pick up the jacket on the sofa.

Elly chuckled and stopped him. "That's so sweet, but no need."

She pointed to the laptop on the tea table in the middle of the room. "I still need to hurry and finish my unfinished plan. I better borrow your machine. We'll work overtime together. the two of us will be more motivated, right?"

Aron looked at her warm smile in surprise. Elly came to the laptop, turned on the machine, typed quickly and entered the state of concentrated work.

Aron could not stand her serious expression. He obeyed the suggestion, sat down slowly in his seat, and continued to concentrate on the work at hand.

Elly's plan had been changed over and over again, because she was asked for the best version. All the time she would check her work, she felt like something was lacking, so she continued to revise it. Under the pressure of work, she didn't have a good rest for several days.

After the revised plan was completed, Elly lay wearily on the rest table, she thought about a few things, and fell asleep as soon as she relaxed. Aron unwittingly glanced at Elly and he was rendered powerless by Elly's sleeping expression.

She didn't put her head on her arm, her cheek was pressed on the table and she looked like a young child who worked gloomily.

"Leila? Leila?"

Aron patted her on the back and tried to wake her up so that he would be able take her home but she was sound asleep and didn't woke up for hours.

He held Elly in his arms. He carefully put her on the sofa, put the pillow under her head and then put his coat over her body, so that she would not catch a cold.

He sat down in his seat and inspected a material.

Because of Elly, Aron finished his work ahead of time. He turned off the computer and went to her. Suddenly, her cell phone vibrated two text messages were received.

He didn't mean to peek at the text messages but Alex' texts were clearly reminding her of the progress of her work. He understood that he wanted to see Elly.

The chairman of a large group abused his official power. Aron looked at her cellphone with disdain and watched her sleep like a baby. He remembered what Alex did to Elly, so he was the one who replied to Alex' messages.

"She fell asleep"

Just a few words but for Alex, he felt like he was struck by lightning, his mind was about to explode. Obviously, someone was with Elly in the middle of the night and Alex knew who that person was.

He imagined Aron and Elly living together, doing unknown things and Alex became furious and clenched his teeth all night.

Aron's simple retaliation was very successful and made the other side furious.

After delivering the text message, he took Elly out of the room. He carried her out of the company and carefully put her on the passenger seat.

On the way home, Elly showed no sign of waking up. She sank into deep sleep, which made Aron feel sad. This only proved that recently, in addition to hard work, her mental state was also unstable, resulting in lack of sleep. Seeing Alex again put heavy pressure on her shoulder.

The car was parked at the gate of her community. Aron got out of the car and went around to the passenger seat. As soon as he bent over to hug her, someone punched him hard on his temple.

He staggered to his feet and his head hit the wall of the car. Alex continued to be beat him, his nose running a river of blood.

"Are you crazy?"

Aron's roar awakened Elly. She looked at the two figures outside the car in horror and realized that Alex was like a bloodthirsty beast, his eyes darkened under the streetlight and a sense of crisis welled up in her mind.

Aron rushed to Alex, missed a punch and put a jab in the abdomen, which made him step back and hit his back on the car.

The blood in Aron's nose woke her up and she got out of the car in a hurry. "What is happening here? Why are you bleeding so much?"

As he heard her anxious voice, Aron said nothing. He stared at Alex and wanted to fight with him again. He could not believe that he had lost to Alex in terms of strength.

Elly hurriedly clasped his hand and pressed a handkerchief on his nose. "Go inside the room first, there's too much blood. Stop the bleeding first or we'll go to the hospital."

Nosebleed to the hospital? Aron was ashamed of her proposal. He's not gonna let himself look like a lunatic.

"I'm fine. You go to your room."

Under her begging eyes, he had to go upstairs with the key. He knew that the wound on his nose abdomen was fine. A river of blood gushed out from his nose, but it was not serious. He just wanted to give them a chance to face each other.

Elly looked at Alex under the faint orange street lamp and the atmosphere became more and more heavy. Elly opened her mouth first and she asked frank questions. "Why did you hit him?"

"Because he wanted to use you." Alex looked at her dejectedly. "Aron is only playing with you because of your safety concerns." So far, Alex had only been misunderstood by Elly.

Elly knew Aron very well, and she did not believe the exaggeration and reasons he put forward.

"You have no right to tell me what kind of person he is, and why are you outside my house? What is your purpose?"

Aron wanted to mention the text message he received, to clarify why he came to her house in the middle of the night. He wanted to explain his discomfort while he read the text message, but he was discouraged by the skeptical look of disgust in her eyes.

Alex simply swallowed all the explanations and sighed slowly. "Because you don't trust me, I have nothing to say."

He paused for a few seconds and his voice sounded softly. "Good night!" With that, he turned around, got back in the car and left quickly.

Elly was dumbfounded as the car disappeared at the end of the road. She still didn't understand what had just happened. When Alex turned around, did she saw a hint of sadness in his eyes?

With doubts in mind, Elly went upstairs. Before she could adjust the dull expression on her face, she was asked anxiously by Aron as soon as she entered the door. "Are you OK?"

Elly looked at his red nose that was stuffed with cotton. Elly hastened to hide her mood and shook her head. "How are you? Did you hurt a bone or something? If the nose is broken, it is dangerous."

Aron pinched his nose to prove it was normal. Elly was relieved after she looked at it for a while and made sure that the bridge of his nose was not bent.

"I'm sorry to trouble you again."

Aron poured water into her hand with the same attitude as a landlord. "Cheer up, you look pale. What did he tell you? Did you two have a fight?"

"We did not fight. He left in a hurry." Elly answered in a low voice, turning the water cup in her hand.

A few minutes later, she promised to see Alex' true feelings. The sad look in his eyes gave her an incomprehensible sense of guilt, as if she had dumped him.

She still did not know why Alex showed up here tonight and hit people.

She thought of her bad habits in her deep sleep, she looked up and asked. "Did I fall asleep, so you brought me back? I just want to work overtime with you. I overslept and got you into so much trouble."

"No need to feel guilty." Aron ignored the matter and moved away from the topic. "Soon, I have a favor to ask you. If you want to apologize, please help me again".

Hearing his sad voice, Elly frowned and thought, she suddenly opened her eyes wide and stammered. "Don't tell me that Mr. Kane believed that we're really lovers when we pretended that tme? Oh, my God, say no."

Aron sighed in front of her ingenuity and smiled with shame. "My dad wants us to get married soon and give him a grandson."

"Are you kidding?" Elly was so shocked, her eyes were full of panic, and she refused dizzily. "No, no. What do you mean? I don't want to lie to old people, let alone lie all day long."

Elly's reaction was expected by him, but he was inexplicably disappointed when he saw her vioelnt reaction.

He quickly hid the emotion in his eyes, laughed, and stared hard at her forehead. "What were you thinking? Of course, I know your clear way of life. I will not force you but if you continue to act with me, I will give you a chance to kick me.
