Chapter 122: Chapter 122

Chapter 124 My last name is not Russel

Hearing the noise at the door, Secretary Gerald stepped forward and caught a glimpse of Emily, who he immediately knew something bad would come up.

The front desk staff saluted Gerald.

Gerald nodded in response, then stared at Emily and asked in a loud voice. "Miss Russel, I remember Alex didn't send you an invitation."

"I'm the bride's sister. Does my family still need invitations?" Emily was still dismissive at the receptionist, impolitely pointing at his face and threatening him. "A low bitch like you, dare to stop me, believe me a word is enough to put you out of work"

Under the threat of high society, the front desk staff took their time, quietly smiling and waiting for Secretary Gerald's orders. In his work, he has seen any kind of overbearing person.

Gerald waved to the front desk and asked it to left for him.

The concierge nodded and left the impolite woman.

When there were only two people left, Gerald was impolite and spoke bluntly. "Miss Russel, I sincerely suggest that you should leave early. If Boss Alex catches you, you will be more ashamed and turn yourself into a joke."

"That's my business. I don't need half a season's favor from you." Emily reacted fiercely and her momentum continued unabated. "What invitation? As the sister of Elly, I am qualified to appear at my own sister's wedding."

When she finished talking, Gerald laughed and asked the question sarcastically. "When did Miss Russel regard Elly as her sister?"

Looking at Emily's ferocious eyes, Secretary Gerald continued to be sarcastic. "Four years ago, when you ruined the marriage between Elly and General Manager Alex, why didn't you remember that Miss Elly was your sister? After Ms. Elly returned home, you kept hiring people to frame her. Why didn't you remember that Ms. Elly was your sister? Especially when you and Mr. Russel sold Miss Elly to Rome, why did she always forget that Miss Elly was her sister?"

A series of questions made Emily keep her mouth shut. Gerald then asked. "With regard to her behavior, does Miss Russel still feel qualified to attend the wedding?"

Emily trembled with anger, but she could not think of a rebuttal in her head. Her red lips were closed and the vulgar curse was blurted out. Gerald thought she is too low and she can do more disgusting things.

"Elly, come on out! Your father just died, you can't get married soon, Elly, you are an unfilially person, I always loved you."

Gerald was so dumbfounded by Emily's shamelessness that he could throw away her face and drag others into a mess.

Her scream was like a madman, attracted the attention of the people around her, and many were curious about what had happened.

Gerald wanted to deal with the matter quietly and take her out, but things would get worse. He hurriedly pushed Emily to remind her but she followed the push and fell to the ground deliberately, shouting loudly.

"Elly is an unfilially woman. His father died and got married as soon as possible. Elly is not human!"

Now Emily's words have been heard in almost the whole banquet hall, and the discussion was getting louder and louder.

Seeing that the situation was out of control, Secretary Gerald had to send an assistant into the dressing room to find Elly. He can drive Emily away by violence, but it has something to do with Elly's reputation and he can't make his own decisions.

The assistant rushed into the dressing room and reported breathlessly as soon as she saw Alex's back. "Miss Emily is messing around outside. Because she can't attend the party, she scolds Miss Emily for being unfilially. She's crazy."

"What?" Alex stood up while he was looking at his cell phone, his forehead wrinkled and his ferocious eyes made his assistant Bridgette limp.

Elly sat in front of the mirror and cheated by makeup artist's hand, wrinkled her face and being unhappy. As predicted, with Emily's character, she won't let him marry another woman, especially the one she once married.

Alex turned his eyes and looked at the calmness on her face. Elly nodded back. "Go see what she's doing."

She got out of the chair, but were blocked by Alex. "She's crazy. She might hurt you. People like her are not right for you. Let me handle it!"

The smile on Elly's face was relaxed. "What can she do to me with so many people at the scene? Aren't there are security guards?"

His words were respected by Alex, but he was still worried and secretly blamed himself for not letting the guards guard her more carefully.

Elly reached out to touch his face and pressed her lace gloves against his skin, giving him the creeps. She turned her head and smiled confidently. "Sometimes, I must face it by myself in order to grow up!"

Alex held his hand and kissed the back of her hand and led her along. The assistant and the makeup artist looked at each other, embarrassed together, because they were only equivalent to the air in the room.

The surprise appearance of the two protagonists attracted everyone's attention.

Seeing the two coming out arm in arm, Emily was jealous and envied the white gown of Elly. This was the desire she had been trying to win over the years, and she was the one who was finally abandoned.

"Elly, you still dare to show up? I thought you'd been hiding in there all your life, huddling your head together, afraid to recognize your real sister?" Emily scolded loudly, her eyes was full of jealousy and resentment.

When she answered her, her voice broke up in discord and her face was cold, as if she were a stranger. "You're wrong! It's not that I don't recognize you, but I don't have a sister, so why should I recognize you as my relative?"

"Yes! Well done, Elly! Even if you don't accept me as your sister, you still want to deny your real father, don't you? You held the wedding as soon as our father died. Are you so disrespectful?

Emily's words made people around murmured. Emily, is the eldest daughter of Mr. Russel, and people from all parts of the society knew about it.

"Russel's bankruptcy has pushed up his family's background. Is it Boss Alex? Why did Alex always marry the daughter of the Russel family?"

"Did Mr. Russel commit suicide because he did not accept the marriage? So, it's all because of this bad girl?"

"Is the bride a real daughter of Boss Russel? So, the girl was so disrespectful that she married the enemy who killed her father and destroyed her family status."

"Did she plot with Alex to frame her family?"

Emily's vicious words satisfied her. She doesn't need to be right or wrong. As long as she destroyed Elly's reputation, the wedding could not go on according to her wishes.

Alex glanced and thought about the man who had just commented, and his anger had reached its limit. Elly walked one step faster than him, she said with her head held high.

"Sorry, I think Miss Russel is mistaken. My name is Elly, and I'm not a Russel." Elly smiled calmly, but deep inside she was worried. "Miss Russel should know that I have been an orphan since I was a child."

"You're lying!" Emily shouted, pointing her finger at Elly and trembling. "We did a DNA test, yes, I have medical evidence to prove that you are my sister."

Alex came over, put his hand on Elly's waist and said sternly. "She's not your sister. Miss Russel, you are mistaken. Your sister died in a car accident four years ago. You gave me your sister's death certificate. Have you forgotten? Does Mr. Russel made you nervous, leading to insanity? If you need it, I can ask Mr. Gerald to recommend a psychiatrist for you."

Every word of Alex seemed to add fuel to the fire, and implied that she was just crazy and mentally ill.

Emily was out of breath, and she had not found a reason to refute it. There were so many dignitaries there that she can't continue to lose her dignity.

The atmosphere around them became more frozen, and everyone was as curious as watching a scandal comedy. Elly doesn't want her big day to be broken by ugly things. "You're just saying. Miss Russel, you used to be friends with Alex. Even if there was no invitation, you are welcome to join us. You don't need an excuse to disrespect my wedding."

Not caring that Emily bit her lip and bled out of resentment, Elly put her hand in Alex 's hand and said gently. "I haven't put on makeup yet. Let's go"

"You call me?" Alex looked into her eyes excitedly, expecting that her hand trembled with excitement.

Elly laughed and bent her eyes excitedly to find it interesting. She took his hand, threw herself on her body, and kissed him.

WOW.

The deep affection of the bride and groom made everyone around them giggle. Alex smiled and apologized to the visitor, then helped Elly to walk inside.

Emily opened her eyes and forced herself to look at the intimate gesture between the two people. She wanted to see how long they could laugh happily.

Secretary Gerald made a polite gesture, and Emily shook her head and walked into the hall. She won't leave because she's angry. If she does, it's like proving that she's lying.

Immediately seated in a corner, despite the mockery and guidance of the people around her, Emily picked up the wine and drank it. She needed to wash her anger with an alcohol. The hands holding the phone were so tight that they turn pale.

Being ruthless to herself was her way to get on with her life and do mental calculations.

In the dressing room, Alex gave a thumbs-up and admired her very much. "Elly, you're different now. If it had been before, you would hold your tears and run. But today you're like a hedgehog. You opened everyone's eyes."

Elly looked at her thumb and felt itching. She finally grabbed his hand and bit hard. "Do you think I can't understand your sarcastic compliment."

Alex twitched and the bite was painless. He pretended to scream to satisfy her, but he glanced at the makeup artist next to him, and he stared helplessly at the two men.

Under Alex 's terrible eyes, the makeup artist turned himself into air.

Aiming at the tooth marks on his thumb, Elly asked carelessly.

"Is that bad?"

"No, I think you're great, at least you won't be bullied."

Elly let go of his hand, smiled and said nothing. She was at her limit being stupid Elly, live up just for the concern of others, let alone become a pawn used by others.

Seeing that the two protagonists were no longer in close contact, the makeup artist hurried to finish the work.

The wedding was about to begin, and John has not yet arrived at the venue, which made Elly uneasy and began to think wishfully.

'Isn't he coming? Was he pretending to be happy? He's in a lot of pain right now. Doesn't he want to attend our wedding?'

John was her relative, her family, and she wanted his blessing.

Everything is speculation, integrated with the pre-marital uneasiness of all brides. Elly was so anxious that she didn't want to immerse herself in her imagination, so she called John's number.

There was something heavy in her feeling. Fortunately, on the third time, John answered the phone.
