Orni returned to her house with her family. Her health condition is getting better day by day. Srilekha and Sanjay were taking care of her properly along with Shivansh.

Though she was fine with her family, she always missed Rudraksh. He had the same surgery like her. She was wondering if he is fine. He told her that his parents came from the village to take care of him but still she was worried about him. For the last 2-3 days they haven't communicated.

It was night time. Everyone in the Patel house was fast asleep except for Orni. She was thinking about Rudraksh. She turned her head to the kids who were sleeping snuggling into her chest. Pulling the comforter over them she kissed their forehead.

Suddenly, Orni felt someone entering her room. Turning her head at the door, she found that it was her mother. She sighed seeing her.

" Why aren't you sleeping?" Srilekha asked coming near Orni.

Orni answered looking lost," Don't know, Ma. I am not feeling like to sleep."

" Are you worried about something?" Srilekha asked patting Orni's head.

She answered sounding puzzled," Maybe. But, don't know what's exactly bothering me."

" You are bothered about Rudraksh. You are thinking about him, aren't you?" Srilekha asked and Orni's silence spoke what was bothering her.

Taking her hands in her hands she said," He saved your life. What more proof you need to understand that he loves you?"

" Maybe he pity me. That's why he saved my life," Orni answered curtly.

Srilekha let out a frustrated sound after hearing her daughter. She knew why her daughter is talking like that.

" I know why you are talking like that. You are scared to trust someone again. Try to understand, Orni. Not every man is like Indrajit and his son. Rudraksh is a good man. Just think from your heart about him," Srilekha tried to convince Orni who was in dilemma.

Letting out a sigh Srilekha told Orni," You are an adult and you can take your own decisions. But, showing you the right path is my responsibility. Have you seen how Rudraksh gets comfortable with your kids? Have you seen how he supported you in this crucial situation of your life? He saved you!! And, in return he didn't ask anything. He wants you to be happy. Isn't it the sign of true love? You rejected him but he never misbehaved with you just because of your rejection! He cares for you and the love I have seen in his eyes are genuine."

" What if he turns out to be a monster like my previous mistake?" Orni asked sounding scared.

Srilekha assured her," My child, not every man is vile like those Randhawas. If all the man out there was like those Randhawas then humanity would have extincted a long ago."

" Listen to your heart for once, Orni. I assure you that God has planned something better for you," Srilekha assured her daughter who realised that she should give her new life a chance.

A few days later

" Tell them to wait outside. After the lunch break. I will talk to them," Rudraksh ordered his assistant who went outside to tell the new clients about the break.

It's been months since the surgery and both Orni & Rudraksh recovered. It's not just their body that recovered. Their broken heart was healed too by each others presence in their life.

Leaning on the chair Rudraksh closed his eyes only to see Orni's face. A smile danced over his lips thinking about her. Without thinking anything further he took the phone in his hand to call her. He will just dial her number when someone knocked at the door. He thought it might be his assistant.

" Come in," he said loudly.

Rudraksh almost dropped his phone seeing Orni here. He blinked his eyes nervously when she locked the door behind him. She started taking predatory moves while he started going backwards. His back touched a nearby cupboard and Orni caged him between herself and the cupboard.

" You are here suddenly?" He asked sounding nervous though but he was actually enjoying her this behaviour.

Orni answered curtly," Send your parents to my house."

" For what?" He asked sounding puzzled though he knows what's she saying. He was trying to tease her.

Orni snapped at him," To play Ludu with them!! Of course, they should talk to my parents about our marriage."

" Our marriage! A few days ago someone rejected me!!" He teased her.

This time she grabbed his collar tightly. Lifting her body on her toes to his level she leaned at his ear. They were so close to each other that they could hear each other's heartbeats clearly. Slowly Rudraksh's hands raised to touch her waist. Orni closed her eyes feeling his warm hands.

" I love you," Orni confessed.

Rudraksh replied caressing her waist gently," Didn't feel it."

" I love you," She again confessed biting one his earlobe.

He replied shaking his head," Nah!!! Not felt the words."

This time Orni got down from her tiptoes. Placing her one hand on one side of his chest, she placed her head right on the side where his heart was. Circling her another hand around his body she closed her eyes. She heard his fast heartbeat clearly.

" I love you," She confessed.

Embracing her in his arms he replied smiling," Now, I can feel. I love you too, Orni."

For the next few minutes they kept hugging each other feeling each other's warmth. Orni felt safe in his arms while he felt peace embracing her. Breaking the hug Rudraksh held her face softly.

" I will love you forever," He promised her placing a soft kiss on her forehead.

" Angel, I can't explain how much I miss you," VR said looking at the ceiling.

Remembering Roman & Rion's faces, his inside twisted with pain. He shed some tears thinking about them. He misses how they used to call him Daddy. He misses how they used to hug him. He misses their adorable baby voice. He misses everything about them.

Then, comes Neela. He doesn't know how many times he felt like breaking the cell and going to her. Taking her in his arms he wants to flood her baby face with kisses. He misses her nonstop babbling. Her soft tapping on his face with her tiny fingers.

" Do you miss Daddy, pumpkin? I miss you a lot," He said turning his face at the window.

Rudraksh's pov

" You went under knife for that girl. Still we were silent. Now, you want to marry her. Have you lost your mind?" My mother roared at me.

I replied with the same intensity," I am completely fine. I love her and I will marry her. No matter what!!"

My father didn't say anything because I know he won't oppose my decision. It's my mother who has the habit of overthinking and overreacting. This argument started the moment I told her that I want to marry Orni. I told her everything about Orni and that's where the problem started. I could have lied to her about Orni but lying is one of the things I hate the most.

" That girl is barren. She can't give you children. She isn't even a virgin! Did you think about your future properly? Huh!! You are just talking rubbish like an emotional fool," She hissed at me and I lost my temper.

I shouted at her," So am I. I am not a virgin either. Why does her virginity even matter? Why does it even matter if she can give me children or not? I have a daughter. She has sons. They are my sons now. No matter what you say, I will marry her only. My family is incomplete without her."

" Never. I can't accept a barren girl as my daughter in law! You will marry whom I will choose," She affirmed clearly.

Letting out a sarcastic laughter I told," Once I married whom you choose. Don't you remember the consequences of that marriage? That daughter in law of yours ditched me, leaving me with a six month old child."

" I listened to you once not anymore. You will meet Orni's parents, fix our marriage date and accept her with respect & love. If you don't do it then I swear you will lose your son forever," I threatened her and noticed her face becoming pale with anxiety.

After a lot of arguments finally she agreed to talk to Orni's parents about the marriage. I just hope everything goes well. I can't wait to have Orni and her sons........ No.....our sons in my life. I will give her all the happiness in this world.

Author's pov

Everyone started clapping when Rudraksh put the engagement ring on Orni's fingers. Srilekha had tears in her eyes seeing her daughter smiling brightly. Today was their engagement and everything went well.

Rudraksh's mother was reluctant at first but her perspective changed after meeting Orni & her family. Specifically, she melted after meeting Roman & Rion. She was impressed by Srilekha's polite behaviour and Orni's cultured attitude.

" I told you that you will like Orni and her family," Rudraksh told his mother who was busy talking to Roman & Rion.

She replied pulling Roman & Rion's fluffy cheeks," My favourite are these cutie pies."

Rudraksh picked up the boys and said," You guys are so upset and eager for a Daddy, right?"

" Yes," They replied in unison.

Rudraksh told them excitedly," From this onwards, I am your Daddy. You will call me Daddy."

Roman and Rion looked at Orni for permission. Orni approved nodding her head when Roman & Rion hugged Rudraksh tightly. For the next few minutes, they kept hugging him tightly.

" Daddy!!" They said in unison.

Turning their heads at Orni they exclaimed with too much happiness," Thank you, Mumma!!! Thank you."

On the other hand, Raksha was clinging to Orni like a second skin. Why won't she? After all, she found her mother finally. She can't count how many times she requested God to give her a mother.

It was the time for clicking pictures. Rudraksh and Orni clicked uncountable photos in different poses. From funny to romantic there were every kind of picture. And, of course, there were bloopers too. It was the kids job.

" I can't explain how much happy I am. I wish Dad was also here to bless you," Shivansh told Orni who became emotional already.

Hugging him tightly she answered," Dad already blessed me from heaven."

" Congratulations, Orni," Niyati said pulling Orni into a tight hug.

It was time for the family picture. Keeping Orni & Rudraksh in the middle and the kids in front of the adults, everyone stood beside each other. Rudraksh entangled his fingers with Orni's fingers.

" Say Cheeessssseee........" The photographer said loudly and a perfect family photo was clicked.
