Lennox chased after Sophia, his head a mess and his heart almost jumping into his throat the further she walked away from him in fury and the familiarity of the whole situation had his gut twisting. No! Sophia could never get hurt. Not ever. He swore in his head as he increased his pace.

What he felt for Sophia scared him, because it was too intense and had him questioning his whole life but for the first time in a long time, he felt alive, he felt like he could let go of the past and just focus on the bright ray of sunshine that had invaded his life in the form of an assistant he'd sworn to get rid of the first time they'd met, but now everything was different, he wanted her, needed her by his side and he would do just about anything to make her see how sincere he was because he couldn't lose her.

Losing her scared him too much, so when he saw her punch in her code to go into her house and shut him off, he reached out to grab her hand because letting her walk away wasn't an option for him anymore. He was going to make her stay and do his damn best to make her see that he was worth loving.

Sophia yanked the door to her apartment open, trying to ignore the footsteps approaching her but the hot hand that suddenly encircled her arm felt like a hot brand, a brand which screamed that Lennox was not yet done with their conversation, that he'd chased after her, and even tho she wanted to just shut him out, he'd made it impossible to escape. It was also getting harder to ignore the sparks that sizzled up her arm at his touch. He was driving her insane. She whirled to face him, yanking her arm out of his loose grip, and backing into the door.

"What the hell? Why are you doing this? You're just trying to prove something to yourself, aren't you? You don't really mean what you said."

"I meant every word. I know it's crazy but it happened so fast..."

"Happened so fast but you kept being a jerk to me, and what about you accusing me of being with Ivan, are we just going to pretend that it didn't happen just because you apologized and owned up to your feelings for me huh. Huh... I don't want your drama, so just leave me the fuck alone." She screamed, breathing harshly as she fought the feelings raging through her skin at their proximity. She just wanted to kiss him, but she knew he was still holding back. Melissa was still in his life, and then there was Jenny Mark, so where did that leave her.

"You said you loved me, is it so hard for you to give me another chance" he whispered desperately, his gaze fixed on hers.

"Yes it's fucking hard for me because I know no matter how much I love you, you'd always have Melissa in your life and that's not the only problem, you also have Jenny right, so what the fuck do you want from me... I don't want to share you with anyone and if I won't be the only one in your heart then just stop all... mph!" She gasped in surprise as his lips smacked against hers in a scorching, bone-melting kiss that had her head reeling and her insides melting at the rough, feral way he dominated her, his tongue stroking against hers as if he was trying to make them one, or drown in her.

The kiss made her head foggy and when she tried to touch him she realized he was holding both her arms against the door, his body crowding her into the door and the evidence of his arousal hot against her skin. She groaned, moaning into his mouth as every nerve endings in her body came alive. Sophia gave as much as he gave until she felt her heart palpitate from the intense desire coursing through her vein and the lack of air.

Lennox stopped kissing her, breathing harshly as he cradled her head against his, his dark eyes staring right into her soul.

"You won't be sharing me with anyone. You're the only one who makes me feel this way" he whispered, his deep voice messing with her head. Desire shimmered then sparked to life when she yanked her arms free, grabbed his shirt and jerked him forward, and kissed him again. Sophia tasted his heat as she kissed his lower lips, then switched to his upper lips, then all at once the languid stroke of lips against lips became full of desperation as their need intensified and it felt like they both couldn't get enough.

She shuddered against him as his warm rough hands trailed up her neck, gentle despite the way he was kissing her. They moved upwards and she moaned into his mouth when he clutched at her hair and tipped her head back, his lips lefts hers and she groaned when he started to press kisses to her neck instead.

Sophia's hands shook as she trailed her fingers over his back, her heart racing as liquid heat pooled in her pants, the weight of Lennox pressing into her making her aware of the whole scene that was taking place even tho it felt like a dream, a really erotic one.

Lennox stopped kissing her and she chased his lips in her haze. His hand on her hips as he jerked her closer against him had her core clenching.

"Do you love me?" he asked, his darkened gaze the only thing that she could see and they held so much passion that she only had breath for the truth.

"Yes. I love you Lennox" she whispered. The words a promise between them.

His thumb caressed her lips, his eyes trained on them as if they fascinated him. "Will you stay by my side, Sophia".

Her breath hitched, and she leaned into him, his lips so close she could almost taste him.

"Always" she breathed, her hold tightening where she clutched at his shirt. "I want you. I need you Lennox" she got out and then kissed him.

Lennox shoved the door, pushing her inside the house and shutting the door behind them. Being in a confined space seemed to intensify the heat they felt and it was as if they couldn't get enough of each other.

Lennox nipped at her jawline, sucked on her earlobe, his eyes flaring as he took in the sound she made, and how she responded to his touch. It was raw, hot, and sexy as hell.

Sophia's hands shook as she tried to get the buttons on his shirt off in-between kisses because she needed to feel his flesh burning Into hers. Groaning In frustration, she yanked at his shirt, the buttons flying everywhere and making sounds as it bounced off the tiles.

Heat slammed into Lennox, a rough groan escaping his throat as he backed up Sophia into her room, his hand grazing her flesh as he pulled her dress over her head. He smiled as goosebumps trailed over her flawless silky skin.

He dropped to his knees and she gasped, throwing her head back as he kissed around her stomach and hips. Lennox wanted to worship her and drive her insane until he was the only one she thought about all day, every day.

His hand trailed up her thighs until he could feel her heat, and the wetness of her pants as he pressed his thumb against her clitoris through the material.

Sophia made a strangled sound as she bucked, the zaps of electricity shooting through her skin so intense, that her feet threatened to give out. She leaned down and kissed him desperately, biting on his lip when he grabbed her butt, his fingers digging into her skin.

Sophia clutched at his hair, tilting his head until he stared up at her. "I want you, Lennox. I've never done this before but I want to do it with you. I. Want. You. Now" she emphasized, clenching her thighs as she watched Lennox's eyes darken, the white almost non-existent and then he was kissing her, almost in adoration, and giving her more than she thought was possible, driving her insane until she writhed beneath him.

And when he finally took her, the pleasure overwhelmed the pain and he murmured sweet words in her ear on each downward stroke that had her chest constricting as her pleasure heightened, his rough breath and relentless pace once he made sure she'd adjusted to him her undoing.

Lennox breathe in her scent, inhaling her like a drunk each time he sank deeper into her warmth, the trust she'd given up to him making his heart swell in his chest. Mine!, his head screamed. No one would ever take her away from him, he vowed as he watched as Sophia came undone beneath him, her eyes glazing over and the image ingrained itself in his head, and what he felt for her intensified, making his skin tingle as he lost control, unable to hold back anymore.

Sophia's skin drew tight as she stared at Lennox, her orgasm hitting her hard and unexpected. It went on and on until tears leaked out of her eyes, her body spasming as Lennox rode out his release, before cradling her in his arms, his nose nuzzling into the crock of her neck.

"I'm never going to let you go Sophia" he murmured into her skin and Sophia smiled, then clutched him tighter.
