Maxwell called Sonya early in the morning to check when she will finish from the office, its a day to their wedding but they haven't seen each other in the last two days. They already got their marriage certificate three days ago and after that day, they haven't seen each other. Sonya picked up on the third ring.

"are you awake yet?" Maxwell asked.

"Yes, am almost at your place" she answered and cut the call. In a few minutes, she entered and met him waiting for her at the entrance.

"Why are you standing at the entrance?" she asked as she remove her shoe. Maxwell pull her to him and kissed her. Sonya was surprised and pull away a little from him.

"Let's go in first. i want to tell you something" she said. Maxwell countenance changed.

"Is it about the wedding?"

"Yes" she answered and Maxwell trembled.

"I also have something to tell you" he also said and they sat down together.

"U will go first" Sonya said but Maxwell stop her.

"let me go first" he refused and sigh heavily.

"Did i do something wrong?" he asked. Sonya look at him confused.

"You didn't do anything wrong" she answered.

"Then don’t you love me anymore? if you don’t want to get married now then its fine, i can wait"

"What is wrong with you? Why wont i want to marry you"

"You've been acting strange lately and you just avoid my kiss earlier. Sonya laughed

"Is that why you think that i don’t love you? are you for real"

"Then why have you been acting weird recently. you also don’t seems excited about the wedding preparations and you are always busy. since two days ago, we haven't seen each other..." Sonya cut him short with a kiss.

"So you think i don’t love you or i don’t want this marriage because of that, do you even think that make sense. am the most excited one about this wedding and also am really busy at the office" she explained after the kiss.

"But still its your wedding, how can you be busy when its few days away and also why don’t you want us to change the look of the house and other things?"

"Mr groom, i believe you are thinking too much. i just think there is no need for that and also about the wedding dress, i wanted to get it myself and with my money so i didn't want to tell you but i thought to wait till it is delivered to me. but if you really want to change the house then fine, its okay by me"

"Really? that was it? i thought you wanted to break up with me. So what do you want to tell me"

"first, its about the wedding gown. i got it yesterday and i wanted to try it with you and it is made only for me and also very expensive"

"Expensive? how much?"

"expensive enough to drain my account balance"

"Why didn't you use the card i gave to you?"

"That's one of the other reason am here. I've spent all my money on the wedding gown and getting couples clothes for us, so i want to use the card"

"Then go ahead it all yours. but what couples clothes?"

"the clothes we are going to wear for our honeymoon and a few ones for some outings" she said beaming with smiles.

"Also, the important one, my mom and Emma will be coming today with aunt and Simon. I want us to go meet them together"

"Okay, i don’t have to work today anyways" he said and hug her tightly theb start to discuss about their new house setting.

Sonya wore a white long wedding gown. it was an off-the-shoulder long sleeve with diamonds placed on the part above her chest to the waistline. her hair was let down and she had little make up on. Evelyn and loveth sat down beside her in the bridal's waiting room as she held her bouquet tightly. As the time draw near for the wedding ceremony to start, she felt nervous. Simon and her mother with Emma and Pat, her Aunt entered to see her.

"you look so beautiful" Sofia said and touch her her face with delight. Sonya smiles as she take a picture with all of them.

"Sonya, take very good care of yourself" her aunt said and the both of them left leaving Simon and Emma with her.

"So, how have you been? i thought you wont come for my wedding"

"I wont miss it for anything, you look very beautiful" he commented as he look at her with a smile on his face.

"Hmm" Emma said with a displeased face and link hands with Simon.

"Your girlfriend is here and you are looking at another woman" she said accusingly.

"You are dating!" Sonya exclaimed loudly totally shocked.

"Yes, he is my man now and why didn't you come to pick us up yesterday again" Emma replied.

"I was busy. Simon, is this true?" Sonya asked turning to him.

"Why? do you think am lying"

"Yes, we are together" Simon answered.

"We are leaving now" Emma said and drag him along with her.

"Your sister is quite the possessive one" Evelyn commented.

They continue to talk until Maxwell entered with Micheal and Charles.

"Bride, you look great" Micheal commented and hugged her.

"Sonya, you look great" Charles also said and made to hug her but Evelyn pull him back.

"Don’t you both think it rude to hug another person's wife?" Maxwell said. they all look at each other with a funny expression

"why don’t we all leave and let the couple have some private time with each other" loveth said and they all left.Maxwell walk closer to her and sat down beside her. They both remain quiet for a while not able to take their eyes off each other smiling.

"So, what do you think about the dress?" Sonya asked breaking the silent.

"Beautiful" he answered.

"What is beautiful? me or the dress?"

"The dress is beautiful but you are breathtaking" he replied. Sonya laugh and hit him playfully.

"So, do you want to rehearsal a little before we start?" Sonya asked.

"Yeah, but why don’t we rehearsal the kissing part first" he said and was about to kiss her but they were interrupted by Evelyn.

"Sorry to interrupt you but its time" she informed them.

Sonya covered Maxwell's eyes as she lead him in, she carefully open the door and held tightly his eyes again and lead him in.

"Now open your eyes" she said excitedly. Maxwell opened his eyes and look around then he realize where they are.

"I thought you wanted to come to country K because you wanted to stay at our resort there" Maxwell said.

"Yes, but i changed my mind at the last minute. This is a very wonderful place and the service is great" she said happily. Maxwell saw her happy expression and does not want to make her unhappy so he smiled instead.

"I will freshen up first" she said and ran inside. she opened her box and bought out the cloth she wants to wear after taking a bath then she went in to the bathroom, Maxwell sigh and start to unpack. Sonya helped him pack his clothes so he just had a rough idea about it. He remove the clothes one by one and is surprised by the type of cloth she packed, none of them is similar to his style. They are all couples wear even to the pyjamas everything except his undies were couples wear. he finished unpacking them and move to also unpack hers just then the attendant knock on the door and he ask him in.

"Good day sir, am Ken and we are pleased to have you with us. I will attending to you 24/7 throughout your stay at our resort and i hope you and your spouse will enjoy your stay with us" he said. Maxwell nodded at him.

"When will you like to have your lunch?"

"Don’t bother, when we need anything we will inform you" he answered and the attendant bow and left. Maxwell went to the bathroom door and knock on it.

"Are you not done yet?" he asked.

"almost. give me few minute" she said back from the bathroom. After few minutes she came out dressed.

"You can go in now" she said.

"Also, we are going out tonight to join that festival i told you about" she added.

"What festival?"

"Carnival. there is a carnival happening tonight and it will end tomorrow" she answered.

"Ikay fine" he replied and entered the bathroom.

....After they finish having lunch and relaxing for a while, they went out for sightseeing then they joined the carnival and stayed till the next day. Maxwell was tired and wanted to go back but Sonya keep pulling him so he has no choice but to follow her. they got back at around 12 noon and shower then they had lunch and went back to their room.

"why are you changing your clothes again?" Maxwell asked her.

"we rested enough so we should go out for fun" she answered. Maxwell close the magazine in his hand and stand up to meet her.

"Why do we have to go out for fun on our honeymoon?" he asked as he move closer to her.

"because honeymoons are for us to have fun together" she answered and move away from where she was standing before he could get to her.

"Since its for us to have fun and spent time together then we can equally have fun inside" he said with an hidden meaning and continue towards her.

"There is no fun for us inside" she said feeling nervous.

"Really?then let me show you" he said and move swiftly to her and caught her before she could escape.

"Are you trying to run away?" he said to tease her.

"What do you mean run away, of course not"

"then why do i feel like you've been avoiding being physical with me since we got here?" he said and use his hand to trace her body.

"Am not" Sonya stuttered and try to act like she was not affected by his touch.

"Aeally? are you afraid of something happening?" he continued and touch her neckline slowly. a moan escape from her mouth and she close her eyes briefly.

"Why would i be afraid of anything? there is nothing to be afraid of" she said daringly as she open her eyes.

"Okay then, i will believe you" Maxwell said and act like he wants to kiss her. Sonya close her eyes and wait for his kiss. when she realized that he was not going to kiss him she opened them. he continue looking at her flushed face.

"What are you trying to do?" she asked a little embarrassed. Maxwell release her and turn to leave but then Sonya pull him back and crush her lips on his. Maxwell was taken aback and couldn't react.

"I was avoiding contact with you because i feel that if i come closer to you then i will lose control of myself" she whispered still holding his face. Maxwell smiled sweetly at her word.

"There is no need to control yourself then" he said and kissed her. he move his lips gently and slowly on hers and allow himself to dwell on it. he cupped her face with his hands and deepen the kiss. Sonya felt a desire she did not know of rush through her body and she could not think. she just wanted more. she wrap her hands around him tightly then she felt his tongue in her mouth and lost it. she wanted to restrain herself but she already lost control. Maxwell felt her reaction and move down to kiss her neck. he nibble on her neck and move his hand all over her back. then his hand rest on the zip of her cloth and he pull it down smoothly. then they start to kiss intensely again and move towards the bed. Sonya felt her leg give way and she sat on the bed while Maxwell bend down to her still kissing. then they stopped.

"This is my first time" she said. she know she shouldn't say something like that in that kind of situation but she couldn't help it.

"don’t worry just follow my lead" he replied and help her out of her clothes leaving her with just her underwear. he remove his shirt and guard her to lie down on the bed comfortable with his body half resting on hers. she place her hand on his chest and feel them. then they start to kiss again.

....Sonya woke up and saw Maxwell beside her still sleeping. she smiled happily and touch his face, then she move her hand down to his chest and continue smiling.

"What pervert though are you having?" she heard him and quickly retract her hand back.

"Are you not tired yet? Don’t you want to go out and have some fun?"

"No am not. and the fun outside can wait, i really love the one inside" she answered and kissed him. Maxwell roll over and pull the quilt over them.
