Packing up a backpack full of some of the things they’ll be needing, Hudson and Alvara faded Emily, who wasn’t aware of where the two were heading to, goodbye. And with the help of a compass the two set off for the east

After trekking for like up to 4 hours, the two of then slumped to the heap of sand on the ground.

“ Mehn I’m exhausted… what is this? “ Hudson grunted, panting heavily.

Alvara brought out two bottles of water, throwing one to Hudson who opened the bottle, gulping down the water in it all at once.

“ We shouldn’t give up ok? Maybe we might see a house around here; a treehouse, a tent or anything like a house, I don’t know” Alvara said, she too panting heavily.

“ I don’t see any…of that here” Hudson replied before lying fully on the sand.

“ Com’on get up you lazy brat” Alvara said, standing to her feet.

“ I am exhausted… I don’t think I can move” Hudson mumbled.

“ Hudson look” Alvara exclaimed pointing ahead of them. Hudson sprang on his feet immediately.

“ A house” Looking up an seeing the building not so far from them, Hudson grabbed Alvara’s hand and they both ran towards the house.

Finding getting to the house, they both pulled a brake on their legs. Exhaling deeply, they both knocked on the door only to be greeted with no reply.

“ Hmm weird” Alvara muttered, knocking the on the door again. When they didn’t get any reply, Hudson twisted the door handle and surprisingly the door opened. Looking at each other, they both shrugged before stepping in

“ Hello! Is anyone here?” Alvara voiced, looking around.

“ I’m getting creeps at how quite this place is” Hudson whispered as they both headed to the kitchen. Surprisingly everything was well arranged and house looks sparkling neat.

“ This can’t be an abandoned house, I mean take a looks at how neat everything is” Hudson said and Alvara hummed a nod.

“ Are we in the wrong house then?”

“ Who are the both of you looking for?” A voice out of all no where asked.

“ Arghhhhh!” The duo screamed hugging each other. Turning slowly, they both froze their spot on who they saw.

Two cups of apple juice and a plate of cookies were passed on to Alvara and Hudson who were now seated at the dinning. They person they met earlier, who turned out to a be lady with dark brown hair and brown eyes coupled with her light complexion, pulled out a chair, sitting too

She waited for Hudson and Alvara to be through with devouring the cookies before she spoke up.

“ So you two are Mutants, huh?” She asked making Alvara and Hudson look up to her.

“ Yeah. And we’re from the Underground” Hudson replied.

“ Then what brings you two here then?” The lady, Morgan asked.

“ Actually my Dad directed us to your house. He left this note for me” Alvara said bringing out the plain and a magnifying glass before passing them over to Morgan who read through the plain sheet.

She frowned her eyebrows before looking up to Alvara.

“ Who is your father?” She inquired.

“ Lopez Adams” Morgan’s eyes widened at Alvara’s answered.

“ What?!” She exclaimed in shock much to the surprise of the two teenagers. A loud gasped escaped Morgan’s lips, startling the two.

“ Are you Alvara?” Morgan asked making Alvara nod firmly.

“ Oh wow. Why didn’t you tell me all along?” Morgan chuckled.

“ Who would believe this is you now?”

“ You know my dad?” Alvara beamed.

“ Of course Lopez was my lab partner” Morgan chuckled.

“ Wait you’re also a scientist?” Hudson asked.

“ Do I look like one?” Morgan raised a brow at him and Hudson understood it as a yes.

“ Anyways what brings you two here then?” Morgan asked once again.

“ Hudson and I…we’re on a quest…to find my Dad and the rest of the Brotherhood” Alvara answered making Morgan scoff.”

“ And you think that is possible?” She questioned with a shrug.

“ I don’t know if it is possible. All I know is that…I want to make it possible” Alvara uttered.

“ What if I tell you that your quest is a dangerous one and near to impossible?” Morgan threw the question at the two.

“ Like Alvara said…we’ll make it possible” Hudson chimed in.

“ Hmm…interesting. I like your confidence but are two really sure about this?” Morgan asked.

“ We’ll do anything possible to conquer this quest” Alvara replied with so much confidence.

“ Ok then. I’ll be right back” Morgan hummed, standing on her feet before heading upstairs. She came back later, placing a scroll before the two. She slowly opened it and it turned out to be a map.

“ Ok…what is this map for?” Hudson inquired.

“ This is the map to a particular cave not so far from here. And only this cave will have the answer to your quest” Morgan explained and Alvara beamed.

“ Will I really find my dad in this cave?” She asked.

“ You might find your Dad”

“ Then what are we waiting f…

“ But…” Morgan’s voice trailed Alvara off

“ This is no ordinary cave. It is a very dangerous one” She added.

“ How dangerous it is?” Hudson asked nervously.

“ Let’s see if twenty people eventually decides to explore the cave…then…erm…only two of them might survive” With what Morgan said, Hudson and Alvara adjusted a bit on their chair before letting out a slight cough.

“ So do you two still wanna go?” Morgan asked. The two teenagers slowly turned, looking at each other before turning back to Morgan.

“ We’re ever ready for this” Alvara breathed out.

“ If Alvara is ready… then I am ready too. Besides if two out of twenty are able to survive then…we too can survive” Hudson backed getting a smile from Alvara.

Morgan too couldn’t help but smile at the two’s confidence and determination.

“ I must say I’m impressed by your courage and determination” She hummed.

“ Well since you both said so…here’s the map to the cave” She said, handing the map over to Alvara. The two stood up and Alvara grabbed the backpack the came with.

“ Before you two go…bear this in mind; ' you both can only achieve your mission if you work together” Morgan cautioned. Hudson and Alvara glared at each other before looking away.

“ Yeah sure sure, we’ll try” The both muttered at the same time.

“ Ok then. I believe you two are ready” Morgan implied.

“ Thank you so much ma’am for your help. At least, now my hope is high that I can find my dad” Alvara thanked.

“ Don’t thank me yet till you’re back from your quest” Morgan replied and Alvara nodded before she and Hudson headed to the door.

They both bided Morgan bye before stepping out. Turning to each other, they both smiled at each other, their eyes glittering in hope.

“ Let’s do this” Hudson remarked and they both nodded firmly.

“ Oh so you finally came” Jade smirked as Polaris approached her. They both were in the busy they met earlier.

“ Why did you call me here. Do you think I have all the time in the world?” Polaris snapped impatiently.

“ I had no other option… not with what is about to happen” Jade replied.

“ What are you talking about? “

“ Remember the Hounds Program I once told you about? “ Polaris nodded a yes.

“ Well, the Trask Industry already joined them. And in two days time, Lucan and the head of the Purifier’s, Elijah are to meet with Mr President to gain an approval on a decree…

“ And in that decree, it states clearly… that authority has been given to Sentinels to annihilate all Mutants on earth” Jade revealed and Polaris’ eyes widened in shock.

“ What?!” She exclaimed in rage.

“ Yes Polaris. In just two days, all Mutants are gonna die” Jade replied. Polaris could feel her blood boiling in rage. She clenched her jaws, tightening her fist as she slowly closed her eyes. Flinging them open, her eyeballs were already burning green.

.” Who…the fuck…does Lucan think he is?!” She growled angrily.

“ Exactly Polaris, what was he thinking. Even you alone can take him down and I trust you can do that now” Jade gingered, smirking evilly to herself.

A scoff escaped Polaris’ lips before she let out a slight laugh.

“ Don’t worry Jade. In two days time, everyone one earth is gonna hear about a DISASTROUS DISASTER…..
