Alvara was destroying most of the flowers in the garden by plucking them off. She was on obviously bored cause she has been banned from participating in any rescue mission all because of Hudson, at least that’s what she thought.
She heard a voice call her name so she turned to the direction where the voice came from only to see Maverick running towards her.
“ Dude, what’s up?” She asked as Maverick stopped before her, panting heavily.
“ What’s up, seriously? Where have you been, I’ve been searching everywhere for you” Maverick replied still panting.
“ Nah. O should be the one asking that. Haven’t seen in about 2 days now” Alvara replied.
“ Well, I went to visit my mom, being a while” Maverick said and got an ‘oh’ from Alvara.
“ So why were you running towards me like you’ve being pursued my a zombie? “ Alvara questioned, slipping her hands into the pocket of her baggy jean.
“ Oh yeah. I found something” Maverick answered, making Alvara raise a brow at him.
“ Something like? “ She was compelled to ask.
“ About the disappearance of the Brotherhood” Maverick replied and her eyes widened a bit.
“ You’ve been researching about it?” She mouthed in surprise.
“ Yep. Remember I promised to help you find your Dad, right?” Maverick entreated.
“ Mehn, I haven’t even started yet. Been busy with other things” Alvara cursed.
“ Tell me what have figured out? “ She inquired, sitting down on the grasses and Maverick did the same. Bringing out a big book, Maverick placed it before them.
“ Whoa....that is one big book” Alvara exclaimed.
“ I’ve been going through this history book I found in the library and something concerning the disappearance of the Brotherhood caught my attention, the events surrounding that day” Maverick shared flipping the book open to a particular page.
“ Here” He pointed and Alvara looked down.
“ According this book, on that day there was this weird Lunar eclipse in which the moon was glowing partly ice and partly fire. And right after the moon changed it color, there was this dangerous explosion that almost killed everybody on earth then. On that same day, all the members of the Brotherhood disappeared” Maverick divulged.
“ Wait a minute. On that day, the moon was partly fire and ice, followed by a great out blast” Alvara rejoined, trying to hint everything Maverick just said.
“ I think that the moon suddenly turning fire and ice and that outblast must have made the Brotherhood……
“ The Fenris Force!” Alvara exclaimed on realization.

“ Guys, I just received information that 4 mutants are being conveyed to a military airport and we need to rescue them” John conceded to Blink, Eclipse, Hudson and Polaris.
“ Fuck! How do we get to them?” Eclipse asked.
“ According to the route they will take, the best place to hit them is in the abandoned school district off Peachtree. Their vehicle will be passing through there” John disclosed.
“ Then what are we waiting for? Let’s get out of here” Hudson said standing to his feet.
“ Not so fast” John halted him.
“ We need to plan everything” He added.
“ Ok. What need be done?” Hudson asked.
“ Eclipse and you will have to disengage the tires of the truck, creating a distraction. Blink and I will head from the back of the truck and free those mutants while Polaris will be waiting in the SUV to drive us out” John explained and they nodded with a hum.
“ That’s an amazing plan” Eclipse complimented.
Turning to Blink,
“ Can you portal us to the road?” John asked her.
“ I can try. But if the driver eventually see’s me or if the truck is moving, it can get really messy and I’m sure a battle will ensure” Blink reply.
“ Then create a portal not exactly on the road, maybe a bush nearby” Hudson suggested.
“ That will do” Polaris chimed in.
“ Ok. The convey is by 10am. Polaris, you’ll have to reach the location with the SUV before us while Blink will portal the rest of us there”

The time for the time for the convey arrived and everyone was in position around the abandoned school. Eclipse and Hudson were hiding by the woods, waiting for one the truck to pass while Blink and Thunderbird were inside the building. Polaris on the other hand was in the SUV parked not so far the building.
“ Are you ok?” John asked Blink on noticing how uncomfortable she is. Whenever John turns his gaze to her, she made sure to avoid it . Well she has been avoiding him like a plague since after their kiss.
“ I’m ok. Just a little bit tired” Blink lied.
“ Are you sure?” John couldn’t help but ask, still not convinced by her reply.
“ Yeah. I’m perfectly fine” Blink replied, still making sure not to lock her gaze with his.
“ Ok, if…you say so” John muttered not wanting to drag the matter. He wanted to bring up the kiss but kicked against it as now wasn’t the right time.
Looking out of the window, getting a view of the empty and quite road, Blink saw the convey entering the district.
“ They’re here” She announced to John looked over. They both waited patiently for the car and truck to stop.
Hudson and Eclipse on the other hand, positioned themselves to disengage the tires of the two cars but was disappointed when it drove past them with speed.
“ Whoa” Hudson exclaimed as the wind resulting from the speed of the moving vehicles, ruffled their hairs.
“ Fuck! They’re ahead of us” Eclipse cursed.
“ Why isn’t the truck stopping yet?” John couldn’t help but ask on seeing that the two vehicles were still moving.
“ We can’t get to it if it is still moving” He muttered.
“ It’s still moving. I think we should go after it” Blink said. Ramming his way through the solid wall along with Blink, they both appeared outside the building right on the road. Looking over, the vehicles were still moving.
“ I can’t portal us into a moving car” Blink cursed but to their surprise the vehicles halted immediately. Using his foresight, John saw Polaris standing before the first car.
“ Polaris already stopped the two vehicles” John announced.
The door of the first car opened and Matteo with 6 other Sentinels stepped out.
“ Trying to stop is again…Luna?” A toothy grin appeared on Matteo’s lips.
“ Call me Polaris, you’re sending me to hell, Matteo” Polaris hissed, glaring angrily at him.
“ Ok, Polaris..” Matteo corrected.
“ Just so to inform you, you can’t get in our way this time around” He remarked and Polaris frowned at what he said. She knew for once, he was up to something.
“ You can portal us inside the bus now, right?” John asked and Blink nodded. Positioning herself, she made to open a portal but her surprise, she couldn’t. She tried once more but still couldn’t.
Looking over to John who stared back at her in surprise,
“ What going on? Why can’t I create a portal?” She blurted in surprise.
“ Wait a minute” John said, closing his eyes. He made to foresight where Polaris was but he too couldn’t. Just then, Hudson and Eclipse ran towards them.
“ Where sorry we couldn’t stop them, they drove past us with so much speed, we didn’t see it coming” Eclipse explained, him and Hudson panting. John opened his eyes.
“ Polaris already done that but there’s a problem” John replied.
“ Is Polaris in danger?” Leriel rasped immediately.
“ Hudson, can you use your telekinesis to unlock the door of the truck or is it too far from you?” John asked instead.
“ Let me try” Hudson replied, closing his eyes. He tried using his mind to track the exact spot of the truck but nothing happened. He tried again before flinging his eyes open.
“ I can’t feel my powers” He muttered as a confused and deep frown clouded his face.
“ What?” Eclipse asked with a confused look. He tried emitting light from his palm but couldn’t.
“ What’s going on?” He rasped.
“ I think our powers has been disrupted” John mouthed.
“ Disrupted…how?” Hudson glared at him in confusion.
“ There’s only one person who can disrupt all mutants abilities…” John said and they all looked at him in anticipation.
“ Who?” Blink asked.
“ PULSE” John replied.
“ What?! Who is pulse?” Hudson asked.
“ That shouldn’t be the problem now” John replied and just then Eclipse’s eyes widened on realizing something.
“ Polaris!” He exclaimed, running off towards the truck.
“ Polaris is in trouble…

“ Just so to inform you, you can’t get in our way this time around” Matteo remarked and Polaris frowned at what he said. A scornful snort escaped her lips just then.
“ Go to hell, Matteo” She spat with so much hatred. She tried sending Matteo and his crew up flying to the air but extending her arms, her palms wide open, she couldn’t see her green flame glittering around her fingers.
She tried again but still nothing happened, she looked up to Matteo and his crew who were now grinning from ear to ear.
“ What’s going on, why can’t the use my powers” She mumbled, trying again.
“ What did you do?” She growled at them.
“ Like I said before polar, you can’t get in our way this time around. We were all prepared for you guys” Matteo grinned evilly.
“ Save yourself” He added, turning his back on her. Polaris face went pale as fear ran through her.
“ Send her to heaven or sorry…hell” Matteo ordered and the 6 cops with him, crocking their guns before pointing them at Polaris who swallowed hard.
Just when they were about pulled their triggers, the 6 cops froze on the spot before turning to each, pointing their guns at themselves.
“ Go to hell” They all chorused, before pulling the trigger on each other as they all dropped dead to the floor.
Matteo and Polaris’ face widened in horror.
“ WHAT JUST HAPPENED?”
