Waking up the next morning while Alvara was still asleep, Hudson brushed his teeth and took his bath before going back to sleep since he didn’t know what else to do and Alvara isn’t waking up any time soon.

Hudson was enjoying his lovely second morning nap on his bed which was at the other extreme of the room. Well not until he was interrupted by some noise which he tried ignoring but couldn’t bare longer.

Sitting up on the bed, he slowly opened his eyes only to see an old lady with a broomstick hitting it on the wall.

Wait a minute…….that doesn’t look like an old lady.

Rubbing his eyes and blinking severally, everything became clear. Actually there was no old lady. It was just Alvara with a broom stick chasing a cockroach she saw in the room.

“ What are you doing?” Hudson asked, climbing down the bed.

“ Why are you………” Alvara shushed him immediately.

“ Don’t move” She whispered in a low tone.

Tiptoeing slowly towards the cockroach which was now on the wall, holding firmly on the shaft of the broomstick, Alvara raised it up slowly, hitting it on the cockroach.

“ Hah, got it” She beamed but her beam vanished when she realized she didn’t even hit the cockroach, rather it crawled up to the ceiling, positioning itself right above Hudson’s bed.

“ Damnit, I missed it” Alvara cursed.

“ Out of my way” She said, pushing Hudson off as she climbed on his bed.

“ Hey, get those filthy sneakers off yours off my bed” Hudson barked but Alvara ignored him.

Reaching out the broomstick, her face dropped in disappointment when it didn’t even reach to the ceiling. She groaned angrily.

“ Damnit, I hate cockroaches and I must kill you…you can’t escape my wrath” She said to the cockroach which of course didn’t reply her, that is if it actually heard her.

Hudson stared at Alvara like she has grown two horns.

“ What to do?” Alvara mumbled to herself and an idea hit her brain.

“ That’s it” She exclaimed, startling Hudson.

“ Hey Hudson, I need you to climb up the bed, now” Alvara said and Hudson raised a brow at her.

“ And why should I…….

“ Just do it” Alvara snapped impatiently. Hudson scoffed before climbing on the bed.

“ Good. Now I need you to carry me so the broomstick can reach the cockroach up there” Alvara said, pointing at the cockroach.

“What?!” Hudson exclaimed.

“ Are you going to be reluctant about carrying me up too?” Alvara hissed with an eye roll.

“ You expect me to carry you, seriously? I don’t even know how heavy you are……what if we both end up falling off the bed and landing with our heads on the…..

Alvara let out a frustrating groan.

“ Just do it already” She snap. Hudson glared reluctantly at her before wrapping his hand under her butt, carrying her up.

Stretching out the broom, Alvara beamed when it reached the ceiling. Using all her might, she smashed the broom on the cockroach but missed it.

The cockroach stretched forth its wing and perched on Alvara’s nose. Her eyes widened on seeing the cockroach and she pressed her lips together to prevent letting out a loud scream.

“ Did you kill the cockroach?” Hudson asked but got no reply.

“ Hey, why aren’t you saying anything? Did you kill the cockroach?” He asked again but still got no reply.

“ Since when did you………” He placed her down, her face very close to his. His eyes widened in horror on seeing the cockroach on Alvara’s nose and he swallowed.

“ Don’t……move” He shuttered, slowing taking the broom from Alvara.

Raising it up to hit the cockroach but it flew across his own face before flying around them.

“Aahhhhhh!!!!!” They both screamed. They both lost their balance and fell on the bed, Alvara on top of Hudson, whose hand held her waist.

Staring into those sea blue eyes, Hudson’s heart skipped and slowly started beating faster than usual. He tried looking away but it seems like he was captivated by them. His eyes slowly drifted to her lips and he swallowed.

“ God, they’re full and tempting”

“ Look away idiot, quit staring!” His inner mind yelled at him.

Alvara on the other hand couldn’t stop surveying his whole face which were very smooth. His straight Greek nose and full lips which were pressed together made him look like a Greek God which he wasn’t.

Blink barged in and saw the both of them. She let out a slight yet loud cough, snapping the both of them out. Alvara was the first to climb down the bed, adjusting her top.

“ Sorry for interrupting your whole……you know……love making….but your presence are needed downstairs….now” Blink said in a serious tone and left.

Alvara followed suit immediately and Hudson trailed along. Getting downstairs, they saw everyone ( John, Polaris, Eclipse, Ben and not to forget Nova).

“ Thank goodness you both are here” John said on seeing them.

“ Did something happen?” Hudson asked.

“ Actually, we were planning on attacking the Trask Industry. They just captured two mutants and we need to rescue them and for that to happen we need your help” John replied.

“ Sure, we’re ready. What needs to be done?” Alvara asked.

“ Everything have been planned. Maverick already hacked the security camera. It turned out the station only has a handful of guards so it won’t be that hard taking them down. Blink will teleport everyone there then Nova will guide you all.

“ However we need you both to disengage the substation transformer so the cells can open up for those mutant to escape while Eclipse and Polaris will stay inside the Surveillance van and monitor the camera” John explained.

“ Hope you guys understand?” He asked and they all nodded.

“ So you’re in?” He asked again.

“Of course we are……Let’s do this” Hudson and Alvara smirked.

Blink portals Hudson, Alvara and Nova outside the Substation while the latter ( Eclipse and Polaris) stayed inside the van. Nova led everyone inside the substation and they all proceed into the Power station.

“ Hey, someone is coming” Alvara announced and they all stopped, allowing the person to pass before they continued.

“ But seriously, Blink, why make us pass through this place when you can just portal us into the buildings where the transformer is? “ Hudson grunted.

“ Can you just create a portal through a hundred walls into a room where you’ve never been before and expect to land safely beside a high voltage transformer? “ Blink snapped, making Hudson seal his mouth close.

“ Better for him” Alvara muttered with a scoff. They continued their journey, passing the conference room.

“Guys, there’s a guard approaching” Eclipse announced to them through the ear pod each of them were putting on.

“ Ok” Nova said and slowly approached the guard with a friendly smile and on getting closer, she quickly blew a purple smoke into his face, causing the guard to dispatch his gun and walk pass them like someone being controlled.

Yeah, that was Nova’s mutant power, Memory manipulation. She has the ability to control someone’s mind by simply blowing that purple smoke which normally comes out from her mouth to your face and then she can wipe your memory off and implant a totally different memory into your mind. That is why her mutant name is ‘ DREAMER’.

“ Wow what did you do to him? “ Hudson asked.

“ Doesn’t matter” Nova replied sternly.

“ Ok, we’re close to the transformer. Hudson and Alvara you both head to the left into the room while Blink and I will head to the right to keep an eye” Nova added and they both nodded.

“ One more thing. Don’t enter any other room apart from the room at the extreme” She warned before she and Blink headed to the right.

“ Ok, everything is going according to plan” Eclipse said to Polaris as both of them watch from the Surveillance van.

Hudson and Alvara headed to the right and was already getting close to the room at the extreme when Hudson suddenly pulled Alvara into a room.

He pinned her to the wall and caged her like he wanted to kiss her.

“ Hudson what are you……” He shushed Alvara immediately, covering her mouth with his palm.

“ We’re not supposed to enter any other room have you forgotten” Alvara whispered yelled and Hudson peeped through the door. When he saw it was clear, he stepped back immediately.

“ Let’s go” He said to Alvara and just then, the emergency alarm started beeping throughout the whole building, indicating that there are intruders in the house.

“ What have you done Hudson?” Alvara yelled at him and barged out of the room while Hudson followed. Their hearts were beating harder on their chest as the ran towards the room at the extreme.

But they were stopped when Sentinel robots raging up to 50 marched towards them.

“ Fuck” They both cursed as they pulled a break on their running legs.

“ We need to head back to Blink and Nova” Alvara said and they both started running back to the left while the robots were chasing after them.

Nova and Blink on the other hand froze on hearing the emergency alarm.

“ Hudson and Alvara are in trouble, we need to head back” Blink said and they both ran back towards their left.

Right in the Surveillance Van, the footage Eclipse and Polaris were monitoring suddenly went blank.

“ What just happened? “ Polaris asked as Eclipse tried recovering the footage.

“ Fuck, we lost it” He cursed.

INSIDE THE BUILDING

Nova, Hudson, Blink and Alvara met at where they had splited earlier.

“ What happened? I thought I strictly warned you guys not to enter any other room? “ Nova asked.

“ I don’t know, how about you ask Hudson” Alvara snapped angrily.

“ I….

“ There’s no time for that. We need to abort the mission. First let’s find a way out of here” Nova trailed Hudson off.

“ Blink you can teleport us out of here right? “ Alvara asked.

“ I can’t. I’m unfamiliar with the building structure. If I try, I might end up landing us into trouble” Blink replied.

“ What are gonna do now? “ Alvara muttered. Looking over, the Sentinel robots were already close to them.

“ Follow me” Nova said and headed to the opposite direction and they all followed her. They ran as fast as they could but weren’t faster than the robots.

Splitting once more, Hudson and Alvara heading to the left this time around while Nova and Blink headed to the right.

Unfortunately the robots splited too and caught up with Blink and Nova, pinning both of them to the ground bounding them with a leash.

Hudson and Alvara ran their way to the basement, locking themselves up. They stopped to catch their breath, panting heavily. Looking up they realized they entered the wrong place cause there was no way out, no doors leading to anywhere, only walls.

“ Damn it we’re trapped” Alvara cursed, hitting her fist on the wall. She turned glaring angrily at Hudson.

“ This is all your fault Hudson, why the fuck did you pull me into that room, what were you thinking? “ She snapped angrily at him, running her hand through her hair in frustration.

“ Listen…….. “ She said, pointing a finger at him.

“ If anything happens to any of us then….. I don’t think you will like what I’ll do to you” She added.

“ Can we just look for a way to get out of this place? “ Hudson snapped and Alvara looked away.

They were now pacing to and fro the basement, thinking of a way out.

“ The Fenris Force” Alvara exclaimed.

“ We can use it to destroy the walls of this basement” She added.

“ No we can’t use it” Hudson replied.

“ But why? “ Alvara asked.

“ Because it’s dangerous. Have you forgotten how powerful it is? If we use it, we will end up bringing down this whole building” Hudson half yelled.

“ Then what should we do, go ahead and surrender?” Alvara asked in a yell.

“ I don’t know” Hudson yelled back in frustration.

The door of the basement banged open and the robots rushed in. Matteo and Liam entered with their team, each pointing a gun at them.

“ Freeze” Matteo commanded, making Hudson and Alvara raise their hands up in a surrender.

“On your knees” Matteo commanded once more and they complied.

Coming closer to them, he handcuffed them, binding their neck with an Inhibitor Collar which turned off their mutant power.

Matteo and Liam dragged Hudson and Alvara up their knees and out of the basement.

"Sorry losers..... it's all over.........

“ Sorry losers but……….. IT’S ALL OVER……….
