The call continued.

## "Any news about Logan?" She asked as the tinted glass of the windscreen was taken up.

##"Yes, my guys have been tracking him lately. They said he was in Mexico and then he went to Spain to meet his family to move them out, and he is doing a great job in covering his tracks," the receiver said and it sounded as if he was puffing cocaine.

## "Good, just keep me posted. I'll wire the remaining money to your account tonight," she said before ending the call.

"When you want your dirty jobs done, you use the hoodlums," she said with a smirk as she alighted from the limo.

Agent Zoe walked to her and carried her bag as she removed her sunglasses and handed them over to Zoe.

The afternoon sun and wind brushed past her face as she tilted her hair backward. Just like when she was still a High School Student of Mystic Hollow.

She walked to the noisy grill and they didn't seem to notice her presence.

Walking to the counter where the liquor and liqueur were ordered for.

"I need a glass," Emily said as the attendee there recognized her face.

"Oh why it's Emily Bellos" he announced as the crowd begins to murmur.

Emily smiled and removed the shawl from her shoulders, she winked at Zoe who nodded and fired two shots on the ceiling of the grill.

The children and wives there panicked and shouted as they ran around the place, breaking glasses and bottles.

"Lock the place and make sure no one leaves" Emily ordered as they were about locking the place with children crying and screaming.

"Mama, is she gonna kill us?" A little girl asked the mom who held her and was crying too.

"No, don't worry honey. Nothing's gonna happen. We're gonna be fine. Ok?" The woman sobbed and consoled the kid who seemed scared already.

Her guards were about locking the door as Sheriff Ruth appeared with her Police uniform. She had switched off the siren so they wouldn't notice she was coming.

They refused to allow her in, even though she came alone without her Police Officers.

"Sheriff here. Heard a gunshot decided to come to check the situation of things here" Ruth said showing her the badge as the guard allowed her in.

She placed the badge back and walked into the grill as she locked her gaze with Emily. She scoffs.

"Here comes the sheriff to save the day" Emily mocked.

"Emily, let the locals go. They know nothing about your daughter's death. Don't take out your wrath on them. We are supposed to protect them not threaten their lives please" Ruth pleaded with her as she scoffed.

"My daughter was murdered! I've been keeping mute about the homicides recently. I'm no fool. Everyone in Mystic Hollow must pay! Including you and your fucking daughter, Elena!" Emily said with a smirk.

"Leave my daughter out of this. If you dare--"

"Oh just shut the fuck up Ruth! You're always the weak one remember? I can't stand my daughter being dead and yours alive!" Emily stated.

"We do not compete Emily. Let bygone be bygone. We both want the same thing, the good of Mystic Hollow. We are supposed to work together to bring the killer to book not to threaten the innocent locals please" Ruth pleaded again.

"You should know me by now Ruth. I always get what I want and I hate too many talks" she said and turned to Zoe.

"Kill that little girl over there. The little boy and that man. If the mother objects, kill her too" Emily said with a smile as the people in the grill began to panic.

"No no, please. You can't do this. These people are innocent. They're not the enemy here" Ruth pleaded with Zoe who pointed the gun at them.

"I'm sorry Sheriff, I'm meant to obey orders," she said and fired the gun at the little boy, his mom, the man, and the little girl and there were tears and screams in the grill.

"No No no no!" Ruth screamed racing to the dead bodies as she dialed 911.

"This is just the beginning of the war in Mystic Hollow," Emily said and walked away.

Her guards went to the door and opened it as Emily walked out with her guards.

Her phone ringed as she brought it out from her mini purse which Zoe had handed over to her.

She pressed the receive button and placed the phone on her left ear.

## "I saw your handwork just now. And I promise you, it's not worth it" the Mayor's voice was heard from over the phone.

##" My daughter is worth everything in this world. And trust me, this is just the beginning," she said and ended the call as she entered her car.

The Mayor threw his phone on the wall after the call as he grunted.

"Stupid woman! You won't spoil all I've worked for!" He shouted out of frustration.

"What should we do now?" Liam who was standing nearby asked.

"We watch and wait for everything to fall to places. Let's pray Emily doesn't carry out her threat because I fear for the worse" The Mayor said trying to catch his breath as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"ELENA... " Elena heard that same voice and it was as if the person was close by.

She stood up from her bed and placed her legs in her slippers.

"ELENA... " She heard the voice again as her heart begin to race.

"What do you want from me?!" She screamed as the voice died down.

"ELENA... " This time it was the wind that carried the voice.

"Wait for me, I'm coming," she said running back to her room to dress up.

Her phone ringed in the process of dressing up as she took it, seeing it was Laura, she took the call

##"Hello Babe, what's up? Elena's voice was heard.

##" Emily's up," Laura said sounding frustrated.

##" Isn't she Sarah's Mom? What is she up to now?" Elena asked putting on the trousers.

##"Yh she is. She wanna declare war in Mystic Hollow because of Sarah's death. She went to the Grill this afternoon and killed lots of people as a warning" Laura explained.

##"Hmm, this is bad. I've met that last once, she seemed nice" Elena said and breathed down.

"ELENA... " The voice whispered again.

##" Ehh, I've gotta go now. There's something I wanna check out," she said.

##"Ok sure, meet us at Alex's home," Laura said before ending the call.

Elena had finished dressing up already as she took her phone and purse, then she left the house, going straight to the roadside.

She followed the whispering voice till she got to the cemetery and the whisper became more intense.

"No... I can't. You want me to go into the woods? I can't, no one ever goes there and I'm scared" She said to the whispering voice as she stopped at the entrance of the woods.

"ELENA...!

"ELENA....!

"ELENA...!

"STOP!" She yelled holding her ears and it seemed she was crying already.

"I'll go in, lead the way," she said walking into the woods though scared.

She wanted to call her friends and tell them what was going on, but she was scared they were gonna talk her out of it.

(AT 8:11 PM)

She walked deep into the woods till it was nightfall. She had had lots of calls from her friends which she didn't take.

Her legs ache and she used her phone torchlight to see since it was pitch dark.

She walked tiredly till she saw a cottage. It looked old and grasses had grown in and out of the cottage.

"Hello?" she said without entering the house because she was scared.

She knocked on the door as it opened by itself then she entered inside the cottage.

(Scene skip to 9:14 PM)

Elena raced outside the cottage after her encounter inside. She ran all through and was very tired as she pushed further till she got to the cemetery.

Her eyes were watery as she cried because of what she saw in the unknown cottage.

"Ok, that's it, if she doesn't come now, I'm gonna call the cops and alert them now," Peter said looking at his wristwatch seeing it was 10:23 PM already.

"When she called, what did she say?" Alex asked Laura who claimed to have called Elena during the day at about 5:47 PM

"She said she wanna check something out and that was it. I don't know why she's not taking her calls. I hope she's OK" Laura said looking worried.

Her mom would have been looking for her by now, but she's on patrol today and Mr. Crane had to finish up the filling at the office. He called Alex telling him he would return real late.

"Let's just wait for a--" Bonnie was trying to talk when the door pushed open then a thud sound followed.

"What's that? Alex, you didn't lock the door?" Laura asked going to the door to check what noise was that.

"It's Elena!" Laura screamed as they went to carry her to the sofa.

"Elena are you ok? "

"Why is your body filled with bruises? Can you please talk to us?'

"Elena, what happened?'

They asked as Bonnie came with a bottle of water which Elena gulped down hungrily then she tried to catch her breath.

"Guys, I think I've found a way to bring Sarah back to live," Elena said breathing heavily without telling them what she saw in the cottage.

"What?" Alex exclaimed.

"Remember Grandpa said she is in a state of limbo?" She asked.

"But he said it's a give and take. Sarah can only come when someone else replaces her in the other realm" Laura stated sadly.

"Then I guess I'll have to exchange my life for her. After all, I've been the one hearing the strange voices and had to go to the cottage... " Elena said.

"Elena, what did you see?" Bonnie spoke for the first time interrupting her speech.
