"Theophillus Luke and Finn Webs" Mr. Adams called as they trembled and walked out on stage.
The students clapped while they stood on the stage with tension.
"So, what do we have here?" One of the masters asked them as they unvailed their project.
"It's a kaleidoiscope" Finn said.
"What is it about?' Another judge asked.
"It's a fun toy that creates amazing images when you look into it" Theophillus said.
"Hmm, that's a nice one, so how does it works?" Mr. Adams asked as Theophillus explained while the judges gave the marks.
When they were done, the students clapped for them as they walked back to the audience.
"Laura Saltman and Alex Bennett" Judge 4 called as Laura breathed down and glanced over to Elena who wore a worried expression probably still looking for Sarah.
She glanced at Peter who mouthed to her. "You can do it"
They walked up on stage and unvailed their project.
"It's a Levitating Magnet" Alex said looking at the judges who stared at the project.
"Hmm, that's nice. So how does it works" Mr. Adams asked.
"First of all, I want to assure you all that floating isn't just for magicians. Have you ever seen a magician float an object in the air? If so, you might think that levitation is just a magic trick but the truth is that you can use an invisible physical force to levitate a magnet. In this project, a magnet is placed so they either attract or repel one another, in certain configurations, magnets are attracted and can move towards one another, so you'll have to be careful not to get your fingers pinched between the magnets... " Laura continued explaining while the students and the judges listened attentively after which they were scored. The students clapped, while they walked back to their seats with smiles on their faces.
"We did it" Laura smiled at Alex who wasn't interested. He was lost in thought.
Elena still wore a worried expression hoping Sarah would just show up.
"Peter Parker and Sophia Woods?" Mr. Adams called as they walked up to the stage and unvailed their project.
"It's a centripetal force" Peter said.
"So how does it works?" Mr. Adams asked.
"Have you ever wondered what keeps you in your seat of a giant loop-de-loop roller coaster? Surprisingly, it is not the seatbelt but the seat. It works because of something called centripetal force and it does much more than make a great roller coaster. It keeps a satellite in orbit and you in your bicycle seat during a bicycle turn.. " Sophia continued explaining as their marks were given to them.
When they were done, they walked back to their seats and were applauded.
"Agnes James and Sam Lee" Mr. Adams called as they both walked up on stage and unvailed their project.
"It's a floating magnetic levitation train" Sam said.
"And how does it works?" Mr. Adams asked.
"Have you ever wondered how you can make a moving train without wheels? It's very simple by using magnets which makes the train float in a magnetic track... " Agnes explained that way as the next team was called.
"Elena Gilbert and Sarah Bellos" Mr. Adams called as Elena walked up on stage reluctantly while looking at the door hoping Sarah would come but she didn't.
"Where is your colleague?' Mr. Adams asked her.
"She's not here" she stated sadly as the students giggled.
"Just start up something without wasting our time" one of the Judges said as she unvailed the time machine.
The audience gapsed. She felt goosebumps on her skin.
"A time machine? That's interesting" Mr. Adams said with the smug smile as the students gasped in shock.
"So Miss Gilbert, what did you used in creating the time machine?" Mr. Adams asked.
"Actually, I wasn't the one that made it but my team mate, Sarah Bellos. I don't know what she used but I guess it's 1 large handron collider or a rocket that goes instantly fast" she said remembering what Bonnie deciphered from what Sarah wrote.
"Hmm, mind explaining to us what a wormhole is?" One of the judges asked.
"A wormhole is a theoritical tunnel or shortcut predicted by Einstein's theory of relativity, that links two places in space time - visualized above as the contours of a 3-D map, where negative energy pulls space and time into the mouth of a tunnel, energizing in another universe" she stated and wondered how Sarah knew the questions to be asked.
"Impressive, so how would a time machine work?" Mr. Adams asked.
"It is generally understood that traveling backward or forward in time would require a device - a time machine - to take you there. Time machine research often involves bending space time so far as time lines turn back on themselves to form a loop, technically known as a closed time-like curve" she said in one breath as the student marveled at her intelligence not knowing Sarah was behind it all.
"That's what happens when you have a project with a genius" Peter muttered to himself.
"But, is it possible to travel back in time?" The female judge amongst them asked out of curiosity.
"Time travel to the past is theoretically possible in certain general relativity spacetime geometries that permits traveling faster than the speed of light, such as cosmic strings, transversable wormholes, and alcubierre drives" she said as the judges were scoring her already.
"So what are the ways to travel through time?" Mr. Adams asked.
"Through speed, gravity, suspended animation, wormholes and light" she said calmly as the judges murmured something amongst themselves.
"Final question, how fast can we travel in space?" The female judge asked, they seemed to enjoy interrogating her.
"According to Sarah Bellos, it's about 16,150mph out in space. Once at a steady cruising speed of about 16,150mph (26,000kph) in orbit, astronauts no more feel their speed than do passengers on a commercial airplane" she stated as all the judges stood up and started clapping for her.(this story is written by Naomi Innocent)
"I'm sorry, I don't think we'll be looking at any other project, we've gotten the winner of the science fair" Mr. Adams said as Elena's friends screamed and clapped for her.
"I was wondering how could a 12th grade student do this, you're indeed a genius" Mr. Adams said handling the trophy to her as she smiled.
"Actually, I didn't do anything in this project, Sarah Bellos is the brain box behind all this" she said as the student gasped.
"Wow, the mute?"
"Never knew she was this brilliant "
"Who could have tell?"
"Hmm, congra the fucking nation"
They murmured as Elena continued.
"I know lots of Students doesn't like Sarah because she is different, but I think she's different in a unique way, Sarah Bellos is a brainiac and I don't think I'm worthy enough to receive this trophy until she comes. I'm sorry sir, I think Sarah is the one to receive it" she said handling the trophy back to Mr. Adams who was astonished as every other person.
They were murmuring as she placed the mini time machine on the big table, since they won, the time machine would be placed in the school museum.

The science fair was over as the Freaks settled on their normal table to have their lunch at the school cafe.
"You know Elena, you did great. And that's because of the book Sarah wrote to you" Peter teased as everyone laughed.
"Yh, thanks to Bonnie too" she said.
Elena stared at Sarah's empty seat and wondered why she didn't show up in school as the news on the TV caught their attention.
They all averted their attention to the Cafe TV as they listened.
".. And since yesterday that the blood stains were seen at the cemetery, we've been able to retrieve her broken specatbles and her torn drawing book and journal. But up till now, the Police team has been unable to trace who Killed Sarah Bellos" the news caster said on the screen as she took a pause and continued.
"The Police team Said the death might have occurred at the late hours of yesterday and Mrs. Emily Bellos confirmed it that Sarah didn't return home yesterday after which her personal guards went in search for her till this morning it was discovered she... " the news caster continued as the freaks couldn't take it anymore.
"Sarah Bellos is dead?" Elena asked with shaky voice as they all sat motionless watching the news
