Elena walked towards the emergency exit door as she saw the power supply room and walked to the door.

"It is locked!" Elena told her as she banged on the door trying to open it while Laura stared at other parts of the system that potrayed different backgrounds.

"Elena, get out of there now! The guards are headed towards that way" Laura told her as she walked away from the door.

"Shit!" she said with her heart in her mouth.

"Stop! Don't go east, there are three security men there" Laura told her as she halted.

"Damn! Am I stuck? Where am I supposed to go?" Elena asked panicking.

"Wait a second, I'm checking the North pole" Laura said as her fingers operated perfectly on the system.

"Come on, come on, come on" Elena said closing her eyes as she heard footsteps approaching towards the emergency exit.

"Clear! Go through north! Take the left wing, you would see the rest room. Stay there for now! Ok?" Laura told her as she started walking towards the North.

"Roger that!" Elena said.

"Laura! I lost track of him! Do you know where he is?" Alex said to Laura through the ear phone as she grunted.

"Fuck! I'm on it!" Laura said as she started zooming the video of the ceiling trying to trail the killer.

"Alex, he's no longer on the ceiling" Laura said.

"Damn! Where is he then?" He asked her.

"I don't know yet, but I'm on it now" she said as her fingers worked on the keyboard.

Bonnie still fixiated her gaze on Peter and Sophia.

Peter finally met pace with Sophia as he stood at her front.

"Hey" he said rubbing the back of his neck with his palm.

Sophia folded her arms and huffed at him.

"What now? Why are you blocking my path right?" She asked within gritted teeth after she had made several attempts to pass through but Peter would not let her.

"Ahh.. No.. Ehh.." He stuttered as she scoffed.

"Peter, listen to me, we've lost track of the killer. For now we don't know where he is, so contain her there. Do not allow her leave the phone accessory department" Laura said to Peter as she continued searching for the location of the killer.

Would you please get out of my way?" Sophia said to him curtly, but unfortunately, he was listening to Laura.

"Roger that" he replied Laura as Sophia smiled.

"Good, so now leave" Sophia stated as she tried to walk past him.

'Huh, no wait" he said as he held her back.

"Don't touch me!? " she snapped at him as she knock off his hand.

"I wanna ask you a question" he said not knowing what to ask her. He only said that to delay her for a while.

"What? You wanna ask how i managed to get out of detention that you and those your freaky friends and that little demon you brought to school made me get in?" Sophia said more like a question with a frown.

"Ahh, yes" he said looking at his back then at hers.

"Any thing yet?" He asked Laura.

"Not yet, just keep it going" Laura said to him.

"Were you talking to me?" Sophia asked him.

"Ah yes, I said how did you get out?" He asked her who folded her arms and rolled her eyes at him.

"That's what I was saying just now. I said my mom did it. you know she is a very influencial woman. Which means no matter how much trouble I get in school, I can always come out of it. So you and your freaks should shoot your best shot. so can I go now?' She said hysterically.

"Great, never underestimate the power of a pussy" Peter muttered to himself.

"Elena, the coast is clear, you can go back to the power supply room" Laura told her who nodded as she walked out of the bathroom.

She walked towards the power room and bumped into a janitor who wore a face cap and tried to hide his face which was masked .

"Oh I'm sorry" she told the janitor while she continued her walk, but the good thing was that, the janitor didn't see her face either.

"Laura look! The janitor is taking off his clothes" Bonnie observed as she walked to the monitor in front of Laura.

"Alex, the killer has been spotted. He just passed the lobby and he is headed to the phone accessory department" Laura told him.

"Roger that!" He said as he hastened his pace.

"Elena, are you there?" She asked.

"Almost! " Elena said as she used a bar to break the door lock.

"Yes I am now, what should I do?" Elena asked.

"Good. There is a circuit close to that--"

"Yh yh, I see it" Elena said spotting the circuit before Laura could finish her speech.

"Good. Open it. I want you to disrupt the current supply without raising the alarm" Laura told her.

"Roger that!" Elena said as she used a screw and started working on it.

"Don't cut off the power supply until I ask you to do so. Just stay and wait for my signal" Laura said as Elena nodded.

"Peter, get Sophia out of there. He is close to you guys" Laura said.

"Come with me!" He said to Sophia as he dragged her by the hand.

"Hey! Let go of me. You're not allowed to touch me!" Sophia snapped.

"Just shut up and walk!" Peter said dragging her as he took her to the unit of ready beat and dolls.

"Let go of me!" Sophia snapped loosening his grip on hers.

She wanted to go back to the phone unit but Peter held and dragged her back. She fell to his arms and started struggling as he kissed her, trying to calm her down.

"Oh my God" Bonnie said watching them.

"Seriously, is Peter kissing her part of the plan?" Bonnie asked half yelling as she raised her arms up in the air.

"We have to do everything possible to save life Bon. If we don't handle this properly, not only Sophia might die. But someone else too" Laura said operating the system as Bonnie calmed down.

"Well isn't Sophia that cranky girl?" Bonnie asked folding her arms.

"You got it" Laura said with a shrug as she concentrated on what she was doing.

A knock was heard from the door as Bonnie and Laura exchanged looks.

"Are you expecting any guests?" She asked Bonnie who shook her head sideways.

"Not really. And dad is not supposed to be back by this time. He is on patrol tonight" Bonnie said as her eyes darted to Fay's shawl.

"Ok, I think I know who it is. Continue with the work. I'll handle this" Bonnie said as she picked Fay's shawl from the couch and headed for the door.

"Hey" Fay said to her with a smile when she opened the door and was surprised she didn't let her in, rather, she closed the door behind her and walked outside with the shawl.

"You are supposed to be asleep" Fay said.

"Umm, yh, but not anymore, dad's back" Bonnie lied.

"Ok, lemme go say hi to him" she said making way to go inside but Bonnie stopped her.

"Ahh, you see. You can't go in, we are having a family meeting and I think dad had a bad time at the station today. He doesn't really wanna see anyone now" she lied again.

"Ok?" Fay said and shrugged.

"I beleive you came back for this?" Bonnie said handling her shawl back to her.

"Yh, thanks. I would have come for it tomorrow. But it's just like my grandma'd that's what she left for me before she died" Fay said.

"Oh, that's so touching" Bonnie said lackadaisical.

"So now I've gotten it back. I'll be on my way. Please send my regards to Alex and Mr. Bennett" she said as Bonnie smiled and nodded.

"Sure. You know he loves you right?' Bonnie asked as Fay stopped walking and turned to face her.

"Who?" She asked.

"Come on, don't try playing the dumb game with me here. None of us are babies' Bonnie said making Fay give a ludicrous laugh.

"You are dear" Fay said still laughing.

"Ok, you know I'm talking about Alex. And trust me, he's my brother so I know him more than any body. He has never looked at any girl the way he looks at you now" Bonnie stated with a serious face.

"Come on Bonnie. You shouldn't be saying stuff meant for grown ups. Where do you see these love stuff you say from?" she asked.

"From the magazine. I can give you relationship advice if you want" Bonnie told a dumpfounded Fay as she looked at the 9 years old kid weirdly.

"What are you now? Some sort of love doctor?" She asked.

"Nope. I'll go for Love expert. I don't like doctors, those freaks always carry their damn needles around and would lie to your face that it doesn't hurt!" Bonnie stated making Fay laugh.

"Ok, hold on guys" Laura said to them as the killer walked round the phone accessories unit, looking for his target.

"Alex are you in position?" Laura asked him as he just nodded.

Sophia finally pushed Peter away as she touched her lips in shock. She raised her hand to slap him but he held it while she struggled to free her hands.

"Alex, at the count of three, he'll be at the spot" Laura said as Bonnie walked inside the room and observed the screen of the systems and laptops.

"1... " Laura counted as Alex steadied his position from the place he climbed, waiting for the killer to walk to the spot they've circled.

"2... " the killer walked a little bit further as he raised his gun, pointing at a particular direction.

"3! Now!" Laura yelled as Alex jumped down from where he was climbing, hitting the killer making both of them fall to the ground as he pulled the trigger at the celing by mistake.

His gun fell off as he gave Alex a deadly stare and the people in the mall started panicking because of the gunshot.

"Elena! Now!" Laura said as Elena switched off the electricity, making it total blackout as the people panicked the more while Alex crept away from the killer who was looking for his gun and Alex now in utter darkness.

Sophia panicked as Peter held her hands and ran away with her.

"Everyone calm down! We've called 911 so don't panic. Just lay low on the ground" The security men tried to calm the already frightened people.

"Fuck!" The killer said as he finally held his gun.

"Elena! Turn the light back on!" Laura said to her as she switched it on and the killer was spotted immediately in the midst of people with his gun.

"Fire!!" The security men screamed as they shot at him while he ran, breaking things in the mall.

"Alex! Behind you!" Laura said as the killer shot at Alex while he dodged it and kept running.

"Elena! Are you there?" Laura asked.

"Yes I am!" Elena said agitated.

"I want you to go to the alarm room, it's next to the fire exit! Follow south and go straight then turn left" Laura instructed

"On it!" Elena said as she started running towards there.

"Peter behind you!' Bonnie screamed as the Killer shot at him while he pushed Sophia and they both fell to the ground without being hit by the bullet.

They stood up and started running again as he chased them.

Elena got to the alarm room as she searched for the circuits.

"Laura, I'm there, what should I do?' Elena said

"Open the circuits, I want you to connect me to the speakers there!" Laura ordered as Elena started connecting and disconnecting some wires.

"Bonnie, connect that earphone" Laura said to Bonnie as she removed the earphone she was using to communicate with Elena and the rest.

"Here you go" Bonnie said handling it to her as she wore it at her ear region.

"Take this" Laura said handling the other earphone to Bonnie so she could communicate with them.

"Elena, are you done?" Bonnie asked Elena who nodded.

"Good, now turn up the speakers" Bonnie told her as Elena started.

The system started initializing till it got to 100%

"Bonnie, tell her she is on now" Elena said to Bonnie

"Laura, you're on" Bonnie said as Laura nodded.

"This is the police! We want to let you know that you've been surrounded and you're outnumbered. Keep down your gun, place your hands at the back of your head and turn yourself in" Laura said faking her voice as the killer stopped chasing Peter and Alex as he listened.

"Oh yeah!" The people in the mall screamed excitedly as they rejoiced.
