"Wait? Did Sarah just smile?" Alex asked after the smile had disappeared from her lips and Bonnie had withdraw her little hands already.

"And she just shake hands with Bonnie, I offered her mine few minutes ago but she refused it. Seriously, this is... "

"Strange? I get it. Can someone please help me. I need to sit on this chair but I can't because I'm too short" Bonnie said as she struggled with the seat.

"Oh, yh. Sure" Laura said standing up as she walked up to Bonnie who stretched her arms to her as Laura carried her and placed her on the seat beside Sarah's.

"Thanks" Bonnie said as she looked round the cafe.

"Your school is damn big' she said scanning how busy the cafe was as she stared at The Freaks who were giving her a questionable look

"Ok, what do you wanna ask?' She said as if she could read their minds.

"What did you tell Sarah that made her smile and took your handshake? Seriously, you're the first person Sarah had ever touched. I heard she doesn't even let her guards touch her, except her parents, I guess" Elena stated.

"Then I guess I'm just lucky then" Bonnie said with a shrug as she stared at Sarah who was facing the table. Avoiding eye contact with any of them.

"Bonnie, what did you tell Sarah?' Peter asked as she smiled.

"Nothing interesting. Just told her it was nice to finally meet her" Bonnie said lackadaisical.

"Finally meet her? Have you known her somewhere before?" Elena arched her brow at her.

"Nope. I just said that because she was the one who drew a potrate of me on that paper right? I was like dying to see the talented artist" Bonnie stated.

"Ok but why did she take your handshake?" Alex pushed further.

"How am I supposed to know huh? Why don't y'all ask her instead?" Bonnie said and stared at them as they glanced at Sarah who was listening to their conversation without adding her quota.

"Ok can someone get me a hamburger please? This place smells like hamburger and it's making me salivate. Don't judge me, I'm not a glutton, just that, I wanna eat something" Bonnie said giving them her cute face as Elena stood up.

"I'll go get it" she said walking to the counter.

"Thanks" Bonnie smiled as she faced Alex.

"I love your friends" she said as he rolled his eyes at her.

Alex's phone ringed as he took an excuse with a bow before pressing the receive button.

##"Hello?"

## "where is Bonnie? I've gone to her school, I couldn't find her then I went home only to find the house locked, I don't.... " Fay panicked as Alex cut her.

## "she's here with me, in my school. She said you couldn't pick her up because you were busy with something you had to do urgently" Alex said giving Bonnie a horrid look as she blinked her eyes knowing she was so screwed.

## "What? I never told her that. Anyways, thank God she's safe. I was so scared after I remembered what happened on her birthday, I'm glad I didn't call your dad first" she heaved a sigh of relief.

##"I do understand, thanks a lot, I'm glad you called me first" Alex said and ended the call as he dropped the phone on the table.

"Seriously?" He said to Bonnie as he folded his arms staring at her with a horrid expression as she became terrified.

"I'm so sorry I lied OK? I'm sorry" she said as Elena walked up to them and dropped the tray of hamburger at her front.

She muttered a thanks to her as she adjusted herself to start munching on it.

"Seriously Bonnie, she was scared to the marrows!" Alex said half yelling at her.

"I said I'm sorry. If I could take back what I did, I would have done so. I'll apologize to her when I see her" Bonnie said.

"What did she do this time?" Elena asked.

"This time? Does it mean I've been doing lots of bad things?' Bonnie asked as she glanced at Sarah who has started drawing something on her book.

"She lied about Fay not being able to pick her up" Laura said to Elena.

"Jeez! Bonnie, why did you do that? You know she would be so worried when she can't find you in school" Elena said.

"I'm sorry again. I only wanted to see Peter" she said sadly as she bowed her head.

"Here we go again" Peter said as he breathed down.

"You know what? How about I call Fay to come pick you up huh?" Alex said as he took his phone from the table and started dialing a number.

"Alex please! I don't wanna go home now. I promise not to create a fuss" Bonnie said clasping her hands together in a praying manner.

"Alex, she's here already. Why not let her be?" Laura said holding his hands, preventing him from making the call.

"I know this kid more than you do, she's gonna try creating a fuss" Alex insisted.

"I won't. I promise" Bonnie said with mouth full of hamburger as the Freaks laughed except Sarah who was still busy with what she was drawing.

"She won't. I'll take responsibility if anything happens" Laura said as Alex dropped the phone.

"I know this kid, whatever she does is on you not on me" Alex dropped his phone on the table.

"Yh, it's on me"

"Thanks" Bonnie muttered to Laura who smiled at her.

"Yh, just behave yourself" Laura told her whilst she nodded.

She opened the milk and drank from it as she gave a satisfying sigh.

"The science fair is in 12 days and we haven't even started anything, seriously I feel like a failure already" Laura said out of frustration as Alex sighed.

"I have an idea, we'll talk about it when school closes" Alex said.

"That reminds me. Oh, good radiance. Sarah we haven't even talked about our project. You gotten any idea?" Elena asked Sarah who nodded.

"Ok, that's cool. I guess I'll come to your house after school closes so we'll see if we can start up something " Elena stated.

"I know I'm so dead, Sophia is gonna kill me" Peter said as he thought of how sassy Sophia could be.

Everyone that passed by their table got surprised seeing the Freaks sitting with Sarah, because no one ever talked to her, they all think she is mentally derailed.

"Speak of the devil" Alex said as they sighted Sophia and her friends, walking to their table with horrid looks.

"Ok, rest in peace Peter Parker" Peter said as she finally got to their table.

"Well, well well, who do we have here?" Sophia said.

"You people are actually sitting with this mentally derailed dock? Thelma asked pointing at Sarah who was looking at them now.

"Hey watch your tongue, she's not a dock!" Elena defended.

"So what now? You're her mouthpiece already?" Rhoda said folding her arms as Elena stood up.

"Anyways Freaks, we all know y'all mentally derailed just like our mayor's daughter here who's father is to be blamed for the homicide and sincerely, we don't give a damn. I'm actually here for this pea brain, because of him I think we are not gonna come out with anything good in this science fair!" Sophia yelled at Peter drawing people's attention as people gathered to cheer on any of them that would win the tongue lash.

"Who's the girl? And what right does she have to call my Peter pea brain huh?" Bonnie said standing on the chair so she would look taller and won't get intimidated by their heights.

"Stay out of this please" Peter told her as she huffed.

"Stay out of this? Seriously I'm so into this" Bonnie said facing Sophia.

"I told you" Alex said to Laura who smiled.

"I think you should leave Bonnie to teach her a lesson" Laura whispered to him.

"What's this little whiner? Anyways, I was talking to spider man not this little duckling poop" Sophia said laughing as the people around her laughed too.

"It's Peter Parker not spider man!" Peter snapped.

"Yh, what's the difference?" Sophia said as she glanced at Laura who was trying to gag Bonnie's mouth because she was about flaring up, but unfortunately, Laura let Bonnie go because her finger got bitten by Bonnie.

"Hey lousy? I've got a name you know? And it's Bonnie you motherfucking ass hole!" Bonnie said to the surprise of everyone.

"Whoa! She's got a mouth there" the crowd murmured as Sophia looked at the crowd in terror.

"I've got a name too! You little dick head! And it's Sophia!" Sophia yelled.

"Oh! That was harsh on the kid" the crowd murmured.

"Aren't you gonna stop this?" Elena whispered to Alex.

"Not yet, just wait for it" Alex told her as she relaxed.

"Your name is Sophia? But you're the total opposite of your name. You know in the Greek language Sophia means wisdom, but you're behaving like a lousy fool, exchanging words with an elementary school kid. I believe you must be sick at the brain, but fear no more cause I have spare fairly used cerebruim for sale, you can place your order of purchase! It's quite affordable you know" Bonnie said and winked at Sophia as Anna, Thelma and Rhoda closed their mouths at what this little kid just said.

The crowd marveled as they laughed at Sophia.

"Serves her right!" A guy from the crowd said.

"I hope after being savaged like this she would stop being a bully!" A girl said.

"I'm so much uploading this video on Instagram" a girl said as the crowd laughed.

"I told you" Alex said to Elena who was shock and smiled as he winked at Bonnie who winked back.

"You little weasel... "

"Sophia and the.. Ehh.. Tall girl, to my office!" The principal said as Bonnie climbed down from her seat. She looked taller than all of them when she was still on the chair.

"You'll pay for humiliating me, you liitle brat!" Sophia whispered to Bonnie as they walked to the office.

"Go fuck yourself bitch" she said rolling her eyes as they got to the Office.

"Mr. Bennett, Miss Gilbert, Miss saltzmam and Mr. Parker, I only ask for Sophia Woods and the Tall... Where's the tall girl?" He asked looking at their faces.

"And what's this kid doing here?" He asked referring to Bonnie.

"Ehh, sir, that's what we came to explain here. The little girl is my sister, she was the one standing on the chair when you came" Alex explained.

"Why was she standing on the chair?" The principal inquired.

"Because I wanna see what was happening, Sophia was creating a fuss at the cafe" Bonnie lied to the amzement of everyone except the principal who knew nothing at all.

"You're such a liar! We were both having a lashing....

"Seriously? You were having a lashing battle with a kid?" The principal asked.

"I swear sir, she doesn't seem like a kid and...

"Sir please, what's the meaning of lashing?" Bonnie asked in pretense.
