The sound of her mom's voice made

her know she was still present.

"I'm warning you young lady and I'm giving you an order as your mom.. "

"I'm not taking any fucking orders from you! I and my friends managed to stop a death from occuring today, well you, the mighty sheriff, what have you done about the recent deaths huh? Since you can't do your job properly I guess someone gonna do it for you and I'm done taking orders from you. My mind is made up!' Elena yelled at her mom.

"I'm.. I'm.. Sorry Elena. I was just trying to look after you. You're all I've gotten, I don't know what I'd do if something bad happen to you, I'm just scared and.. "

"We're done here mom. Have a nice day" Elena said and walked out on her mom and almost bumped into Mr. Crane.

Peter was discharged later that day as they all went to Alex's house. Fay was there and was so happy that nothing happened to Bonnie.

Peter's arms was still bandaged and Bonnie was still clinging on to him.

Laura went to the kitchen to make cupcakes for them with Elena while the rest stayed in the palor.

"So, you guys might wanna tell me what really happened yesterday?" Fay asked while Alex couldn't make eye contact with her because he had confessed his feelings to her.

"Emm, it was nothing to worry about. We've taken Care of things" Alex said and gave a nervous laugh.

"Guess what Peter?" Bonnie whispered to him

"What? I suck in guess work" Peter told her.

"Well I've joined your crew of catching the bad guys" Bonnie said proudly.

"Oh damn! This girl's gonna blow our cover" Alex said face palming his face as Peter gave him a look.

"What bad guy?' Fay asked.

"Don't mind her, she's taking about a movie we watched. Remember the MIB? Men in Black?" Alex said and gave a nervous laugh as he dragged Bonnie to the basement downstairs.

"Seriously?' Alex said folding his arms.

"What?' Bonnie asked in pretence.

"You can't go about telling a bunch of people that we would be trailing the bad guys now. What if the bad guys hears it huh? Remember he moves with a mask, so no one knows his identity yet" Alex said within gritted teeth.

"Well, you guys never told me it was going to be a secret and besides, Fay ain't just any person. She's my babysitter" Bonnie said with a shrug.

"Well you can't tell anyone. Not even dad! If you wanna stay in the crew then you can't say a word! Ok?" Alex said as Bonnie breathed down and shrugged.

"Ok! Fine. I promise" Bonnie said.

"Pinky swear?' Alex said sticking out his pinky finger

"What? You're makkng me swear now? What if I couldn't keep the secret and by chance I just spill to someone by mistake. Does it mean I'm gonna die? I'm just nine! I don't wanna die now!" Bonnie blurted out as Alex chuckled.

"Well, you'll only die when you don't keep the promise. And I'm sure you can do it" Alex said.

"Ok! Whatever. Pinky swear" Bonnie said finally as they locked fingers.

"That's my girl" Alex said smiling as he patted Bonnie's head WHILE she knock his hand off.

"Don't touch my head!" She ordered as Alex quickly withdrew his hand because of how she slapped it.

They both walked to the parlor to meet the rest.

Elena and Laura were done with the cupcakes as they served it at the palor and they started munching on it.

Alex brought a liquor from his dad's set as he shared a glass cup to everyone except Bonnie.

"Sorry, it says 18+" Alex told her who frowned as they poured themselves and cheered to Peter's survival.

Bonnie went to the fridge and served herself a glass milk as they ate.

"My birthday was a whack" Bonnie said as she observed the still half decorated room.

"Yh sorry about that. Your friends and classmates came. They were disappointed the party didn't hold" Fay said.

"I guess I'm dead in school on Monday. They're gonna make a jest of me that I wasn't able to handle a simple party" Bonnie said with a shrug as she sipped from her glass of milk.

"I'm so skipping school on Monday" she whispered to herself.

"I heard that" Alex said making her roll her eyes.

Elena received a text from Edward as her heart raced.

##Remember you owe me one. Meet me today by 1 @ the Grill. I'm asking you out on a date.

She showed her friends the text as they talked about it.

"I told you my brother has a crush on you" Laura said

"I just hope he ain't like Bryan. I don't wanna fall into wrong hands again" Elena said as Laura kept mute knowing who Edward was.

"I'll advice you don't give your heart to Edward, all boys are same" she said with a shrug.

"That's not true" Alex blurted out.

"Well your clock is ticking. It's 12:34pm already. Aren't you gonna go dress up?" Fay asked.

"Well I'm nervous about this" Elena said

"Just go have fun. Do anything that'll take your mind off Bryan" Alex said with a shrug.

"Thanks guys" she said standing up as she gulped down all the content of the liquor and left the parlor.

"Whoa! I feel good" she said.

She got outside as she felt nervous. She doesn't want to mess things up. Maybe it was time she seek relationship advice from Bonnie.

She walked back inside the parlor as her friends were surprised to see her.

"Well, did you change your mind already?' Peter asked as she shook her head sideways.

"Nope. Just wanna have a word with Bonnie" she said tensed.

"Bonnie? Don't tell me you believe those shits she told you at the hospital' Alex blurted out as Bonnie stood up and walked towards Elena.

"Dont mind my brother. Come with me let's go outside" Bonnie said and held her hands as they walked outside while their friends stared at them in dismay.

"So what do you wanna talk about?" Bonnie asked folding her arms.

"Emm, it's about the date I have with Edward. I'm so nervous. I don't wanna mess things up" Elena complained.

"Do you really wanna do this? Like go see him at the Grill?' Bonnie asked.

"Yh, I wanna clear Bryan off my head" Elena said.

"Well, don't just do things because of Bryan. You'll only end up hurting yourself. It's your life now not his and the last I checked, I don't think he fucking give a damn about you now" Bonnie said.

"Ok? So what do I do now?" Elena asked.

"If you really wanna go see Edward. I'll advice you not to act desperate at all. Just keep your cool. Let him know you are fucking ok without having a boyfriend. Don't act too tensed, it makes guys wanna take advantage of you. And don't over dress. Don't do too much makeup. Just go on casual because your dressing speaks a lot about you. It gives people an impression about your kind of personality and you're addressed the way you dress. I'm not saying you should dress like an old hag. Just go on casual and look good in the right way. Dont spend too much time there with him. Give him time you wanna go home and also give him the impression that you are no ordinary girl, you get that?' Bonnie asked as she nodded and wondered what's talking through her.

Laura, Peter, Alex and Fay watched Bonnie and Elena from the glass window as they wondered what Bonnie was telling Elena that seemed so interesting.

"You guys have a gun at home?" Bonnie asked Elena who was lost in thought on what Bonnie told her.

"Of course. Your mom is the sheriff. So there should be guns not just gun" Bonnie said with a smirk.

"Why do you ask about the gun?" Elena asked.

"I want you to go see this Edmund of a guy with a gun' Bonnie stated.

"It's Edward. And why do I have to carry a gun along?" Elena asked as Bonnie smiled and made her bent down while she whispered something to her ears which made Elena shock.

"Why do I have to do that?" Elena asked tensed

"Just do it!" Bonnie said with a dubious smile.

Elena got home in order to prepare for the date.

She wore a pink gown and packed her hair with a white band that fitted the white heels she wore as she remembered what bonnie told her.

(Don't over dress and make sure you look tough)

She took off the cloth and wore a blue jean, a black top and a blue jean jacket. She scattered her hair and wore a booth.

She went to her mom crime tracking room as she took one of her guns.

She dropped the gun back as she thought of Bonnie's plan.

"That kid Is crazy" she muttered to herself as she finally took the gun and kept it in her jacket pocket and left the house.

She hailed a cab and stopped at front of the Grill. She alighted and paid the fare and walked into the Grill.

Edward was there already drinking liquor as he sighted Elena in the Grill, using her eyes to search for him.

He imagined how good she would be in bed as he licked his lips, but then, her dressing is like someone you don't wanna mess with. He waved off the thought and dialed her number which she took at the first ring.

She ended the call and smiled as she walked up to him, adjusting the seat, she sat opposite him.

The Grill was less crowdy unlike other days. The locals here had decreased. Guess it was because of the killing that occurred some days ago.

Elena's heart raced as she stared at his magnificent face. Truth be told. He look way more handsome than Bryan.

"You look dazzling" He told her as he scanned her naked on his bed while she smiled as her cheek flushed, then Bonnie's words played in her head.

(No matter what he said don't blush, you're not an ordinary girl)

She cleared her throat and tilted her head.

"Well I should. My boyfriend broke up with me yesterday. And thanks for the compliment" she said and poured herself a glass of liquor.

"Oh, he's such a jerk for doing that to an angel. Are you ok? Do you need someone to comfort you?' Edward asked as if he wasn't thinking of taking advantage of her too.

"Well, thanks though. But I don't need your pity. Just that, my next relationship is gonna be so different because I've got a gun now" Elena said bringing the gun out from her jacket pocket and kissed it as she remembered what Bonnie asked her to do.

Edward flinched seeing the gun as he swallowed hard. (Ok, I don't think this is a girl I wanna mess with) he thought as he stared at Elena who was kissing the gun.
