Chapter 11: Chapter 11

♠Laura's pov♠

Waking up with pains in my arm was awesome.

Am being sarcastic. I had to scrub the toilet so had that I think that my hand is broken.

Going to school today, and I am really not in the mood.

After breakfast we went to school, and today am going to the gym first.

Just to show off my good skills and impress everyone.

Nah...that will never happen. Am too weak and soft, and I don't want to ache my poor body more. But I have to go, so that I can see for myself.

And besides the girls will be there they'll keep me company.

"Okay I take back my word, am leaving," I said but Patricia held me back.

"Everything will be just fine and fun, just breath," She said slowly.

"In and out," She said and I followed.

"That's good, now let's have some fun," She winked.

It's gonna be fun.

Nothing bad will happen.

I won't break into tiny pieces, but why am I so nervous.

"I am nervous," I said.

"There's nothing to be nervous about," Maddy said.

"My first time, I felt nervous too but it's okay," Tammy smiled and I inhaled.

"Okay, here I go," I said as we walked into the gym.

Beautiful view, I forgot that I have never seen a gym before. Not even on Tv.

"Oh there's Gabriel," Patricia drooled.

I looked to his direction and so him staring at us...wait he's staring at me smiling.

Awkward!!

We walked to him after much persuasions from Patricia, just kidding..surprisingly he came to us smiling sheepishly when Patricia wanted to sat the persuasions.

"Hey girls," He smiled.

"Hey!" We said.

"Can you show me your skills in the basketball court," Tammy said.

"I am sorry, maybe, another time," He said.

"Oh, it's okay," Tammy said sadly.

"Maybe I can show you some moves on the court," He winked at me.

"I...I...would love to," I said without knowing.

"What?" Tammy whispered yelled.

"Meet me there," He winked again and walked away.

"You just had to steal him away," Tammy glared.

"I'm only going to tell him about you, you know, make him like you," I smiled.

"That's great, but am sure that he already likes me," She said and the girls rolled their eyes.

I chuckled, "Okay, this gym is way to bug and I don't know the way."

"You could have followed him then," She said.

"It's and he's over there Laura," Maddy said.

"Thanks," I said and walked to the basketball.

"I am sorry I took that long," I apologized.

"It's okay," He smiled.

Okay, his smile is getting weird.

And why did he ask me to come here anyway.

Oh, to show me his moves or so.

But I didn't know that basketball requires moves.

There are many things I don't know.

"Actually, I wanted to ask you out for a date," He said still smiling.

Okay, is that how to ask someone out, no romantic speech or something.

Hmm, I can really work with this, I'll make him fall in love with Tammy.

How hard can it be?

Sure.

He came closer and landed a kiss on my left cheek.

I slowly turned to check if the girls were still there, but am gladly they wasn't.

I have to make him stop this lovey doby stuff.

Wait, do you think that Gabriel likes me?

No way, that's stupid.

Right??

Oh no, this is bad, real bad.

♣Luke pov♣

"I just can't believe this dad," I yelled as I paced around his study or office, whatever he calls it.

"You should be happy, now please keep it down she might here this," He said and I sighed and slumped on a couch.

The girl that am gonna marry is the daughter of the queen, a princess.

It wouldn't be had to interact with each other because we've known each other from childhood.

Not only am I gonna get married to her, but she's now living in the same house with me.

I know I should be happy, but I just can't.

I don't know why either.

I think I am going crazy.

Anne wouldn't be complaining about getting married to me, she's used to me and she just want to please her mother, the queen.

I wonder how Sandra is taking this.

"Please do this for your mom, son," He said.

"Don't use my mother to get to me old man," I almost yelled.

"You're mom loved kids, you know that, and she put her soul into the orphanage, she took care of every. She would do everything possible to make sure the kids had a home," He said but I just stared at him.

"I know, I know, and now you want me to get married just to get rid of me. You hate me this much," I smirked.

"No, you got it all wrong, I loved your mom," He said and I just stared at him.

Ok maybe he's old age, has something to do with it.

Is he hearing what am saying.

"Your mom died in my arms because of her illness and luckily I had someone to remember her, you look exactly like her and unfortunately when I look at you all I see is her and it makes me feel...guilty for not saving her," He said with glassy eyes.

"It wasn't your fault, we're humans and we all have emotions that clouds our judgement sometimes, or make us do good things," I said.

"I am sorry for not really being a father for all this years," He said and I sniffed.

I can't believe that am crying.

"It's okay dad," I smiled and stood up.

"If you don't want to get married I understand," He said.

"No, I need to honour her memory in my own way, she did everything for the orphanage and so will I," I said and he smiled.

"So you have to be focused nothing should distract you, inculding Sandra," He said.

"Huh?" I asked.

"I know you like Sandra my boy, who wouldn't, I don't want her to get in the way," He said and I thought for a while.

It's all for mom, I guess.

"I am make sure that she doesn't," I said.

"I know this is hard for you, thank you," He said and I smiled and hugged him.

So I am gonna let Sandra go.

How hard can that be.
