Chapter 95: Chapter 95
Author's POV
He opens the door with a kick, using his strong leg while Angela's face all panicked as she shouted to him, "Eric, leave me…you can't do that!!"
Her voice filled with anger and frustration for him. She can't let him do whatever he is planning. She needs to leave no matter how.
Eric put her down on the bed. While Angela's eyes sharply looked at him.
"You are a monster!"
Eric felt hurt to hear that word, but his decision powered his mind not to flinch at her anger and words which were throwing right now at him.
"Angela, you can say whatever you want but it's not going to change my decision. I'll never let you leave me...remember that…" Eric's face turned serious as he immediately move towards the door and closed it behind him.
Angela's eyes widened with shock as she immediately got off the bed to run towards the door only to get to know it was locked.
She started banging on the door while shouting.
"Eric, open the door! You are doing wrong! Let me go! Let me go, you bastard!"
Angela was completely covered in desperation while her hand started paining after banging on the door for a long time.
"What should I do now?" She mumbled while her hands raced on her scalp later.
She didn't inform anybody coming here.
"Phone!"
"My phone…"
"I need to call mom or Ella to inform her about this…"
Thinking that she looked around but the landline phone is no longer in the bedroom.
She remembers it was there the last time before she left the house.
Then how it's not here anymore. She ran her mind and finally understood everything.
"Damn Eric! You planned everything. You make me come here just to lock me in this mansion. You never wanted to give me papers or sign on it!"
This all calculation made her angrier and filled with hatred towards him.
'See Angela, what is he doing with you? And you are feeling sorry and upset for him? Does feeling hurt for him fit you now? Did he deserve that? Watch now, his true arrogance!' Her mind shouted at her in full outrage.
While she feels it's right, she's a fool to come here in the first place. She thought he was ready to let go of everything. But she was wrong. Completely wrong.
She went to her bed with a weak body and sat on it in sorrow.
Her blurred moist eyes looked around the bedroom and felt all the memories coming one by one to her mind.
How many nights and days did she spend in Eric's arms in this bedroom, the care he showed, the love he showed made her so much happy then... but why now everything turned out to be bitter. Why does it happen to her? Why do they need to do that? Why didn't they tell her the truth in the first place? Why does she need to suffer all this?
All thoughts and feelings turned out to be bitter for her and without knowing the tears fell out of her eyes wetting her cheeks.
Her heart aching to feel unbearable pain inside her chest. While the suffering makes her hurt more badly.
Eric destroyed the last bit of logging she had for him.
.
.
Eric stood at the door with dull eyes until her shout and banging stopped and it exchanged with sobbing.
Eric's heart burned to feel her sadness and the tears that came because of his ruthless move.
But he wanted her and explained to her. He wants her to listen to him. At least once. Without that, he never let her go.
Eric walked back to the stairs as he moved to the living area and held Angela's phone only to read some messages from her friend Ella and her mom. They wanted to know about her.
So, he replied to both of them that she was fine and would stay outside for a few days.
After texting them, he put the phone in his pants pocket and went toward the bar.
"You are a monster!"
"I don't want to stay with you!"
"I need a divorce!"
As soon as he held the drink in front of him, Angela's hateful words captured his mind. The hatred he saw in her eyes was too painful even to remember.
He raised his glass and gulped all the portions in one sip to forget what he had just done, what she said. Whatever bitter memory there was, he wanted to vanquish it.
He drank the alcohol nonstop like it was not affecting him anymore.
He could still remember everything which made him angry with himself and he opened the full bottle cap directly to bring on his mouth and gulped the whole bottle without any burning reaction which he could feel because of alcohol.
"Angela…I'm sorry…" He murmured between his breathing while the alcohol started to blur his vision and everything turned hazy in his mind.
"Why? Why? I need to do this to you…"
"Why can't you give me a chance to explain myself? Why do you need to treat me more lowly than a criminal? Even they have the right to explain their side, then why am I not?" His voice shook up while he felt his whole body stepping on thousands of needles which poked every cell of his.
"Angela...Angela…." His head finally bent over the bar counter while his eyes closed with dizziness.
His lips murmured only her name like nothing is there except her for him in this life.
On the other side, Angela steps towards the window and opens it just to watch the full moon looking at her.
Her red eyes suddenly remember the memories when Eric and she watched the full moon while hugging each other for a long night before they finally went to sleep.
But later, her eyelashes flickered to feel anger about what he had just done with her.
He locked her and avoided her decision.
"Angela, he never deserves your chance…" She coldly speaks to herself.
