"Give me papers back Eric, if you are done with signing up!" Angela looked at him with a cold gaze as soon as it met his deep eyes. She's done with him.

Eric's hands clenched tightly while his jaw clenched with bitterness. While he furiously confirmed with a loud voice.

"No, I'm not signing those damn papers, Angela! It's not going to happen!"

"I don't think I'll do it now or later!" Eric's eyes look at her with seriousness and show her that he is not backing up with his declaration.

Angela's face scowled to listen to his announcement. She can't let this happen. She needs a divorce. She doesn't want herself to fall deep between her feelings and loses the battle between mind and heart.

She glared at him while responding to him in anger.

"Eric, can't you see...I don't want you or this marriage anymore! Let's just separate or do I need to use law force..."

Angela asserted with a despicable face. But Eric didn't flinch at all as he coldly retorted.

"I don't care!"

"I don't want a divorce!"

Eric ruthlessly announced only to make Angela speechless for a moment in her place. While her hands turned into fists.

"Do you know what you are saying, Eric?"

Angela felt frustrated as she didn't want to do anything with Eric at all. She wants to live alone and just be herself for now. But Eric's actions and words make her situation hard.

Eric could feel she was completely angry because of his damn declaration not to sign divorce papers, but he couldn't help his heart. He wants her! He damn wants her in his life...

"Yes, I know what I am saying!" Eric's eyes meet her frowned gaze. While he continued.

"I don't want you to leave me!"

"I want you to hear my explanation…"

He touched his chest as his eyes looked at her with distress.

Angela felt hurt deep inside as anger made her lose calmness," But I don't want to hear any explanation, why can't you move on just like I'm doing...don't waste more time Eric, this only makes me hate you and despise you more…"

Eric's eyelashes flickered, as he couldn't help but feel too powerless. Her words gave him too much pressure to let her go but his heart was too scared to leave alone behind… leave without love…

"Angela, why is there no chance for me?"

Suddenly these words come out painfully from his mouth, only to make Angela feel deeply silent.

She don't know what to answer but soft words only make this situation tangle, so she used harder ones to let him feel more hurt,

Because I don't want it to give you...Eric… I want this damn divorce between us… I don't want you in my life or near!"

Eric felt calm, as his eyes never left her face. While Angela continues her words.

"I want you to leave me. I don't want to stay with you under the same roof…and feel betrayed every moment, remember your lies, remember your so-called love emotions…"

"I want to separate from you and you can't let this stop happening!" She declared ruthlessly while her eyes turned red.

Eric's heartache to hear her harsh words while he felt her utterances like a sharp knife digging into his flesh, only to make him bleed there nonstop.

However, he didn't let the hurt feeling look through his face, he maintains his straightforward expression in front of her and takes steps toward her only to stop a few inches from her.

Angela's eyes flickered with his sudden steps but she didn't move backward. Only used her fingers to squeeze her dress corners.

Eric silently stood for a second, before he

arrogantly announced to her.

"I'll never let this happen, Angela! I'll never let you leave me in this life!".

Angela's heart tightened.

"You are my wife lawfully and I have a right to let you stay with me...even if you are not ready for it…"

Eric's nose turned red while his head veins popped up with seriousness.

Angela's hands turned into fists as she felt chill around her suddenly, his words made her shudder in her place, but she didn't let herself get worried and said, "You just turned out of your mind, Eric!"

"Yes, I am…" He didn't refuse her while nodding his head before moving more closer, only to make her feet move backward with tension.

"Because I can't live without you...and soon you will also believe in my love…" He openly declared.

Angela's heart thumped to hear him.

As She felt, He sounded different. There is something more in his dark eyes. But what? she can't catch it.

Her brows arched to hear his last sentence, as she asked in a quiet tone," What do you mean by that?"

Eric's lips smirked powerfully and Angela felt dumb to see him smiling suddenly.

But soon she realized what he meant by that. As he immediately removed all barriers between them and immediately held her only to land on his broad shoulder and moved towards the stairs.

"Argh!" Angela's eyes widened while she couldn't help but shout the next second.

"Eric! put me down! What are you doing?" Her voice gets loud and filled with anger.

But Eric didn't flinch at all as he responded by walking.

"Angela, I'm sorry but I want you to come back home and live with me again…"

Angela frowned to hear him and yelled.

"It can't happen! You can't do that!" She angrily refused.

Eric moves to get fast as he crosses the stairs.

"Then I'm sorry! I will never let you leave me! You will stay in our bedroom until you get me a chance to explain myself…or change your mind!"

Eric announced only to make Angela panic. Her eyes turned moist while she gritted her teeth with frustration.

She never thought coming back home, brought her into this situation.

Eric ever going to do something like this, this is the last thing she ever imagined.

Her tears run down her cheeks.

'I'm sorry Angela, I know, my steps are making you hate me! But I can't let you leave me! I'm sorry! I'm selfish!' Eric speaks inside his mind.
