Eric's POV

I stopped my car in front of the restaurant and turned my head to look at Angela whose eyes were focused on the outside of the window. She was silent the whole time while her eyes were still lost which made me worried for her.

I held her hand to attract her attention and it did that, she turned her head to look at my eyes.

"What happened? Why are you so lost?" I asked.

"Nothing! I'm just too focused on the view!" She said while showing me a smile.

I knew she was lying but I just nodded to her with a calm face.

"Let's go! Your surprise is waiting for you!" I said while interconnecting our fingers together.

She slightly nodded while looking at our hands with deep stares and then met mine.

I felt something was off!

But what?

I couldn't guess.

As we entered the entrance, the manager and twenty staff in a straight line stood to welcome us.

We both smiled at them while Manger came in front and forwarded his hand towards me for a shake and said, "Welcome Sir! Welcome, Madam!"

I nodded while Angela lightly smiled.

"Sir and Madam, this way!" I nodded and we both followed him towards the elevator.

He pressed the button and we both entered while the Manager entered behind us.

He pressed the top floor button. It means the roof. Today's dinner is going on the roof while there is one more surprise for her.

As we enter the roof with the manager. Angela's eyes turned stunned with generous decoration. Everywhere are roses decorated while the musicians are standing on the left side with violins and playing wonderful music.

On the other side, the waiter and waitress were standing in line.

When in the middle the table is ready with outstanding decorations with two chairs.

The outside views are already tempting around the tall building.

Everything is too romantic and perfect that I'm glad that John did as I expected. Now I hope Angela liked it.

My eyes looked at her side face which was still busy looking at the surroundings before finally turning towards me with loving eyes. I can feel her emotions and her love just through her single stares which were missed all the time. I don't know how to feel at this moment.

"Did you like it?" Finally, I asked her with a soft voice.

Angela smiled and nodded at me.

"Thank you, it's beautiful!" Her sweet voice made my heart thump while I couldn't restrain myself but hugged her tightly between my arms ignoring everyone.

"I'm glad you liked it!" I said and kissed on her cheeks.

She felt shocked to see my sudden action and her cheeks turned red.

I saw that and felt delighted.

The next moment, I interconnected our hands and told her, "Let's go Mrs.Brooks!"

She heard me and nodded while we both took our seats and the music tone changed with another song.

The waiter came with red wine in his hand and served it.

We both cheered and drank it while I looked at Angela who was smiling but it didn't reach her eyes.

After we put down our glass. I held her in one hand which was on the table.

She looked at me and held my hand back more tightly which made me smile.

As I spoke to her.

"Angela, I know many things happen between us, and to you. But please don't let your heart suffer alone! Please share your burden with me! I can't see you like this!" I looked at her eyes which were filled with mixed emotions hearing my words.

"Erish, sorry to make you worry. But I'm fine, I'm just like… Don't know how to explain!" She shook her head and sighed helplessly.

I squeezed her hand and said, "Angela, I know this day is hard but I promise we will cross it together! I'm not going to leave you even for a second!" Hearing me, her eyes turned moist while she nodded with a smile.

"I know Erish! I know!" Her voice turned sweet.

Suddenly, the manager comes in front of our seat.

"Excuse me, Sir and Madam!"

We both looked at his side.

"Sir, as you said. The preparation is done!" When he explained, I understood what he was talking about but Angela's face turned confused.

"Alright, let's get started then!" I said while the manager smiled before nodding and left us alone again.

"What is he talking about?" Angela asked.

"You will know it!" I said standing from my chair while tucking my two buttons on a tuxedo.

Angela's eyes turned curious but she nodded at last.

I wanted to chuckle but just left silently.

A few minutes later, As she was waiting for me in her seat, suddenly all the lights were off.

"What happened?" I could hear Angela's shocking voice.

But the next moment, I signalled Manager to turn on the stage light.

As soon as the stage light turned on.

Angela turned her head in stage direction and finally saw what was truly happening.

She could see me with the piano. As our eyes met, my lips curled in a smile.

She was still looking at me with deep stares and could understand what was going to happen next.

She smiled lightly while I held a mic in my hand.

"Angela, today I'm going to play the song which I prepared for you. I hope you will love it and connect with it!"

As I announced, she smiled brightly while I put the mic on the piano and started playing it rhythmically while looking at her with my true emotions.

Without you living in this world is never on my mind...

I know, loving me is so hard for you…

But I hope you gave me a chance to prove myself to you…

As soon as I completed the song, Angela's tears rolled down her cheeks.

Everyone clapped but my eyes were only on her as I stood up from the chair and went down from the stage and went back to our seat.

She stood from her chair and hugged me tightly.

I hugged her back tightly and inhaled her sweet fragrance.

"Did you like it to my surprise?" I asked without breaking our hug.

"Yes…" She took a long breath.

"Erish, I love you..!" Suddenly she said it while I felt my heart thump on my chest wider.

"I love you too! Angela!" I replied.
