After taking blood from Mr.Brooks, the nurse went back to the operation theater while Angela and Mrs.Brooks went to check on Mr.Brooks as he was resting in another ward after landing the blood.

"Honey, are you alright?" Mrs.Brooks asked with concern, as she sat on the chair beside his bed.

"Yeah, I'm alright, I just hope our son will be okay…" Mr. Brooks's voice shattered as he couldn't help but feel helpless as a father at this moment.

"Honey, don't worry! Our son is not a weak person…Nothing is going to happen to him!" Mrs.Brooks held her husband's hand and gave him little courage. While her eyes were also rimmed red with her husband.

Angela silently watched them from the door as she also thought the same way to see how strongly they both stood together for their son's recovery.

'Eric, see your parents, how tough they are even in this situation!'

'You also need to stay strong and fight for your life, not only for yourself but for your parents, your brother, and for… me…don't lose life please…' Angela whispered with misery in her heart while her eyes got tears on them.

Eric's parent's eyes went to the door where she was standing.

"Angela…please come here…" Mr.Brooks weakly mumbled. While Mrs.Brooks also looked at her with the same gaze.

Angela hesitantly enters.

"Angela, please tell us everything! How did Eric get into an accident? And how did you get there?" Mr.Brook asked while Mrs. Brooks went to her and held her hands and asked with sobbing," Yes, please tell us…everything!"

Angela couldn't help but tears slipped from her eyes to her cheeks. While her voice broke down confessing to them the truth.

"Uncle…Aunt…It happened because of me…" She looked at them with guilt.

"What?" Mrs.Brooks's eyes enlarged with shock while Mr.Brooks got stunned to hear her confession.

"Angela! What are you saying? Do you know?" Mr.Brook's voice filled with hesitation at this moment.

"Yes, Angela! How could he get into an accident because of you?" She held her arms and looked at her with a questioning gaze.

Angela meets Mrs. Brooks's eyes and started to explain everything. She tells them everything from the start to the end. How Eric locked her in the mansion and how she finally escaped from there bit caught in midway and when she tried to run again the truck suddenly came from another side and was ready to hit her but Eric pushed her and got himself in an accident.

They both can't believe Eric did something like this to Angela.

"Angela…did you tell the truth?" Mrs. Brooks's voice shook.

"Y-Yes!"

Angela's response made both of them completely shocked.

"I'm sorry…I never thought he would get into an accident!" Angela felt her body turn numb.

Mr. and Mrs. Brooks looked at her with a sorry feeling.

As Mrs.Brooks said later," Angela, don't blame yourself."

She looked at Mrs.Brooks with a stunned gaze.

"A…Aunt…"

"Yes, Angela, she's telling the truth. You don't need to blame yourself."

Angela couldn't believe they didn't blame her.

"Angela, Eric loved you so much, and he pushed you only to save you…there is no one's fault." Mrs.Brooks held her hand.

Angela felt warm to hear that but it didn't make her feel completely relaxed.

"We are sorry Angela, whatever Eric did to you…but I know he did all this for your love which he always craved for…" Mr. Brooks's words made Angela amazed.

"Yes, we know, all he wanted was your love but we know, what he did or chose the path to get that is wrong…and we should apologize to you on behalf of our son."

Mrs.Brooks clarified.

Angela never thought they would so deeply understand her and their sons. That they didn't even suspect her words or decline Eric's deed.

Is she truly thinking wrongly of them? And react without getting their point before? Angela's mind filled with new queries. As she watches things in a new way now.

Suddenly, a door knock broke her thoughts and she turned her head to see a nurse standing there. Mr. and Mrs.Brooks also noticed the nurse.

"Excuse me, Sir, someone comes to meet you…"

"Meet me?" Mr.Brooks turned confused.

Angela and Mrs.Brooks were also confused at the same time.

"Yes, he informed me, he is your family member!"

Mr. and Mrs.Brooks immediately realized something and looked at each other and then glanced at Angela.

Angela could not think of anyone at this moment to be a family member.

However, Mrs.Brooks immediately rushed toward the nurse and told her, "Miss can you tell me where he is?"

"Yeah, he is just in the corridor!" Nurse informed.

"Alright, I'll go and fetch him. Thank you." Mrs. Brooks thanked her and the nurse left with a nod.

Angela doesn't understand why the family member came suddenly and how did the person know about Mr.and Mrs. Brooks's location?

"Angela…" Mrs.Brooks called her name.

"Yes." Angela looked at her.

"I'm going out. You stay here with your uncle."

Angela nodded while Mrs. Brooks left in a hurry.

Mr.Brooks sighed to see his wife leave.

Angela saw his reaction and asked in a deep tone," Uncle, which family member is the nurse talking about and mom went to bring?"

Mr.Brooks looked at her with silence for a moment before finally answering in a few words," You will know Angela…Let's wait for your Aunt to come with the person…"

Angela couldn't help but feel suspicious however, she nodded lightly to him.

A few minutes later, she heard the sound of oncoming steps and turned her head to watch towards the door and soon her eyes widened to see the person at the door with Mrs.Brooks.

She couldn't believe it for a moment before she finally reacted with a shocking expression.

"E-Erish…" She murmured the name with a stunned tone.

While on the other side, Mrs.Brooks stood with her son Erish who was sitting in the wheelchair and looking a little pale. He is still not completely recovered but yes he is finally awake which is big news for her as she doesn't know he has already come out of the coma.

Erish also stared at Angela with a weak smile and felt guilty to think that he is also one of the reasons for all this incident.

Angela couldn't believe he was already awake and now in front of her. She looked at Mrs.Brooks and then turned to see Mr.Brooks with a questioning gaze.

Mr.Brooks broke the awkward silence and asserted, "I know Angela, you got any questions for us but it was Erish's choice to not tell anyone about his awakening until he fully recovered. But today, when we got the news of the accident, we ran here and asked him to stay in the house. As his health is not well. But we never thought he couldn't let himself stay there and come here to see Eric and us at last. So, now you can see…he is already awake…"

Angela's eyeglasses flickered as she turned her head to meet Eris's guilty eyes.

"Can we talk, Angela?" He requested in a hesitant voice.

Angela looked at him with a mixed gaze but before she finally answered him, the nurse came again. And this time she informed them that surgery was completed and the doctor called them to meet.
