Third POV.
“No, we aren’t leaving,” Amaya said as she shook her head.
They looked at her in confusion as they did not understand her or why she was saying that.
“Why? I thought that you hated Aiden? You can use this opportunity to get you and Leila out of here and out of his life,” Marcus asked with a frown on his face as he was confused.
“Even if I can, I won’t. Leila loves him so much as the wolf in us. I can’t hurt them as I will be hurting myself too,” Amaya said, making them remain silent as they understood her.
The mate bond works in a weird way thus they know nothing will make Leila stop loving Aiden after just some hours of argument.
“But don’t you think that it will hurt them more when they continue seeing him treating them indifferently?” Elana asked with worry in her eyes.
She wanted what was best for her sister. Seeing her in pain also made her heart ache. She was after all, like Leila’s mother and a mother had to protect her child from any pain.
“It will of course but what can I do?” Amaya said as she rolled her eyes.
“Stop being that way and be serious. I think that it is best if we leave. You should give him some space to think things through,” Elana said, hoping that Amaya may understand what they were saying.
“I know but we both know I can’t. The rogues are messing with everyone and we don’t know who is the next victim. We need to be stronger to prevent anything else from happening. Do you think that Leila is always happy or proud when she sees people dying because of her? Or hear people blame her every time?” Amaya asked them with a lot of seriousness.
They were unable to refute her words since they also knew what Leila feels and goes through everytime there is an attack.
“What are you planning to do?” they asked as they looked at her in anticipation.
“Nothing much. Since she locked herself up, I will give her a two day break after that it will be a busy time. If I am not wrong, you all have scenes when your parents were fighting on the last great battlefield. That is what Leila will train herself with and many more. At the same time, she will still be going to the elders to be taught how to control powers. When she is done with everything, or should I should say we since both of you will also be practising, we will have some rest before we attack the rogues. Guess there is no harm with that. Why should we always be the one waiting for their ambush when they have now kidnapped our own? Don’t you think it is high time we take things with your hands?” Amaya told them her plans and they lowered their heads.
To them, even if that was a great idea, it was too risky and a suicide mission.
“Have you forgotten to add Aiden on that list? If I am not wrong, we need his warriors' help when we attack,” Marcus said after some minutes of silence.
“If he isn’t willing to listen to Leila and not blame her, why should I add him? Just so that he can say that she is a weakling and a jinx? No way! But if his anger would have vanished and apologise to her then we will add him and his people in the plan,” Amaya said, making them shake their heads as they disagreed with what she was saying.
“Are you crazy? Don’t you think that that is so suicidal?” Elana asked as she poked her finger on Amaya’s face.
“Suicidal?” Amaya asked with a frown as she was confused why and when did her mission become suicidal.
“Yes, do you think that we will defeat the rogues just the three of us when there are a thousand of them?” Elana explained.
“Why can’t we? Also, would you guys plus Leila train yourselves with our parents' moves? Even the moves that mom used when her darkness wasn’t in control and also when she was in her wolf’s form? I think we can use that and what we know. We will first let our wolves fight against the enemy. When they become tired, both of you and Elana will fight in your forms till you become tired. After that, Elaine and I will take over.”
“Or to avoid us losing just at the beginning, you, Marcus and Leila, start fighting and also use your powers. When you get tired, you give your wolves control and they fight. When they get tired or upon encountering danger, both Elaine and I will take over. When our energy is depleted, you take over again.”
“It is like we will be going in cycles. Get tired then backing out to rest and charge yourselves before taking action once more,” Amaya explained what she thought when she said that they will attack the rogues.
Both Elana and Marcus fell silent since they admitted inwardly that Amaya had already thought things through. It was a great plan and they loved it. If they followed it, their chances of winning were more than eighty percent.
“Oh, we also have that old man who has been locked in the dungeon on our side. Wasn’t he told by grandma that he should always follow our commands? He is also stronger than the strongest Lycan and werewolf warriors. If we also include him, our chances of winning are much higher,” Amanda said as her eyes shone as she thought but that day.
As the goddess of destruction, she couldn’ wait to see that day so that she can live truly to her name.
“So guys, what do you think now? Do you also feel that we have a great chance of winning? You guys are my siblings thus you shouldn’t say no! You should support me fully,” Amaya said in a hopeful tone as she looked at them.
