Chapter 65: Chapter 65
Third POV.
Madeline was trying to stand up and failed to see Leila running. It would have been best for her to say motionless laying on the ground than showing she still had the strength.
The reason Amaya is called darkness is because she can end anything she comes in contact with. She smirked when she saw that Madeline was trying to stand up since it is within her expectations before she started running.
She gave Madeline another powerful kick on the chest, causing her to roll backwards and fall down once more for throwing a lot of blood.
“Tsk. I never knew that you are such a weakling. Imagine that you have been beaten by a werewolf while you lycan, always boosting how powerful you all are,” Amaya said as she lifted her with her right hand as if she was lifting a rag or something that was so dirty and smelly.
“I wish that I was a vampire, I would have drained your blood once and for all bringing an end to your life but since I can’t, I will just continue injuring you till all your blood is out,” Leila whispered on her ear making Madeline to widen her eyes in fear.
She wondered what kind of a demon she had messed up with.
Recalling Josiah’s words in the dungeon, Madeline gritted her teeth as she regretted not listening to the man when he said that Leila could not be messed with. Now that she had already done saw and there was nothing she could do to ease the situation, she raised her hand and tried slapping Amaya. To her, even though it would just cause a slight pain, at least it will distract her and make her drop her down.
Sadly, before she could even do so, Amaya held her hand and glared at her.
“Fool. Do you think that such stupid tricks can work on me? I wish that you had asked around first before you started dreaming about defeating me,” Amaya said as she twisted the hand she was holding on her left, making Madeline scream in agony.
Some closed their eyes as they couldn’t endure watching it and sympathised with Madeline. They wanted to stop the match but it couldn’t be stopped until one of them admitted defeat or lay unconscious. They even took back the words they had spoken previously about Leila not having enough strength to defeat a lycan.
Seeing her strategic moves, they wondered whether all werewolves could fight like her and also knew that if a word got out, they would be humiliated and embarrassed but because they opted to be shameless, they claimed deep in their hearts that if anyone ever ask them they would say that Madeline had never practised or that Leila was their queen and since she joined the kingdom, she had been practising throughout.
“Please. Please. Let me go. I beg you,” Madeline whispered, making Amaya chuckle.
“Seems I did the right thing by starting beating your face and mouth since they can’t hear you know. Thus, I will continue torturing you but ensure that you don’t faint,” Amaya said with a cold smile on her face,
She threw Madeline up and punched her stomach before she landed down. Madeline felt as if she was at a blink of death but still she was afraid of it. When she got tired and her eyes almost closed, she opened them immediately as all she could see was darkness and she has always been afraid of that.
Amaya kneeled down before her and punched her left leg making Madeline cry and open her mouth to cry but she found that she couldn’t make any sound making her even more terrified.
“Let my daughter go. Leave her alone,” Simon shouted after some minutes of being in shock.
He always knew that his daughter could fight but he was proved wrong. Yes, she could fight since she was one of the top warriors in the kingdom but he was shocked to know that Leila was much stronger than her.
Thinking about what happened in the house, he gritted his teeth as he now understood the reason why everyone had agreed readily. It was as if they knew how powerful Leila was but he wondered when they found out, where he was and why he wasn’t told anything. But he still couldn’t bring himself to understand cause nothing was making sense. After all, Leila had not gotten a chance to fight anyone in their presence.
“Let go? If it were me, would she have let me go when my sister begs her to do so?” Leila asked coldly, making everyone speechless.
They had softened upon seeing how badly the girl was wounded but they forgot what kind of a person she was and what she would have done to Leila if she was at an advantageous position.
“Please, I beg you. Let her go,” Simon said as he shed tears.
“Begging? That won’t help. Maybe you are willing to fight with me then I might forget about her and let her go,” Amaya said, making Simon panic.
Of course, how could a self-centred person like him agree to that? How can he die in the hands of a junior like her?
“Hahaha. Madeline. Look at that. Your father loves himself so much that he opts to see you die in my hands other than him suffering in my hands,” She said as she walked towards Madeline but Madeline was dragging her body farther when she saw her doing that.
Madeline looked at her father with hatred since all this was happening because of his greed but no matter how much she tried to talk, the more she got disappointed.
“Madeline, you could have been happy living with your parents as you wait for your chosen mate and they live together forever but see where coveting other people's things took you. Remember what happened today cause if I find you near Aiden or seeing your despicable motives, I will just end your life immediately. Understood?” Amaya asked her coldly, making her nod hurriedly.
“Good,” she said as she lifted her up.
She threw her before punching her neck making a crack sound.
