Third POV.

It has been hours since the ambush. Despite that the party did not end well and the alphas were supposed to go to their packs, they couldn't since they had to come together and discuss how to defeat their common enemy. Nonetheless, the Black Moon Pack Alpha's family had angry and ugly faces. After discovering that Leila was actually Liam's mate but was rejected, they knew for a fact that their son will not be able to escape the werewolf punishment rules.How they wished that they had known beforehand and prevented such a calamity to happen to their only son whom they were looking forward for him to take over the throne after he gets the mate.

Three figures were in a dark room, one on the window gazing outside, the others was seated on the couch. Even though the room was dark, they could see vividly how the room looked like and what was going on due to the presence of candle lights but the gloomy atmosphere would make one wonder whether one of their people had died.

Turning around, the man standing looked at the people on the couch with an angry face.

"How I wish that I didn't give birth to you. I have been successful and always led the other packs but how can I face them after knowing that my beloved son committed son a mistake?" he asked in a sad tone. Anyone who would hear him would sympathize with him cause of the tone used.

"Dad, how do you expect me to accept a human?" one of the other party asked as he looked up at the old man. There was no sorrow or regret in his tone but anyone who was keen enough would hear the sarcasm in his words and also the disgust in his voice.

"Please. If she is really wolfless then why did the king say that she is special? Why would the rogues be after her?" the old man asked angrily.

"How then would I know? Weren't you also present when she didn't get a wolf on her sixteen birthday?" the young man asked loudly making the old man to snap and slap him.

"What are you doing? Did you have to slap our son?" the lady was seated quietly asked after seeing that things were getting out of hand.

"Do you expect me not to slap him in return? Is this how we brought him up? To always talk rudely to his own father? I guess that I have given you a lot of freedom that you don't respect me anymore. All the hard work that my father and I worked for the pack has been ruined cause of your desires. All you know is going around the pack fucking different girls. I am very disappointed in you," the old man said coldly while he emitted a murderous aura as if he was going to kill anyone the next minute.

"How dare you! Who gives you the permission to talk to our son in that manner? Who do you think you are? You blame him for been selfish and acting impulsively cause of he wants. Didn't he learn it from you? He took after you let me remind you. You care so much about your reputation and success, why do you blame him for doing the same as you do? Would you have accepted me if I was wolfless and not the daughter from one of the strongest alphas?" the woman asked angrily and managed to make the old man quiet.

"What? Cat got your tongue, eheh? You are also a selfish bastard. Of course when he saw that Leila is his mate and also knew that she was wolfless, the first thing that came into his mind is that she is weak and will always need to be protected," she said.

"Even if, don't forget who her parents were!" the man snapped.

The woman wanted to talk but didn't find anything to say.

"What do you mean, dad? Who were her parents?" the young man said.

"You don't need to know. And let me remind you, if it weren't for what happened two years ago, we wouldn't have become successful. If that girl continued to stay in our pack even though she was wolfless, you know her value but your son destroyed everything," the old man said.

"Just shut up. What has happened has already happened. What you should be discussing is how to save our son and also be able to keep the Black Moon's throne in our family," the woman said managing to calm the old man.

"He wouldn't be able to escape the punishment, don't forget who Leila is now," the old man said after been quiet for awhile.

"How can Leila be that powerful? she can even heal," the guy murmured.

"She is more powerful than that. Her sister is also so powerful but not as much but more before that us werewolves," the woman said.

"What? How?"

"Their genes. That's why we didn't give the beta position to anyone else after their father died and also when their mother later died," the old man said.

"You didn't cause you knew how powerful there were and they would be of help anytime?" the guy asked making his parents nod their heads.

"Fuck, wish you had told me earlier, we would have been the one in the time light and other packs would be jealous of us," he said regretfully.

"You don't need to regret anything. Whatever happened has happened. We have always been the envy of other packs. At least even though we have lost Leila, we still have Elana with us. What you need to do know is show them how you regret your decision. Don't destroy the good friendship you have with that woman, she can't be underestimated," the woman said.

"Okay mom."

"Good, now leave. Your dad and I need to rest before we go for the meeting."

On the other side.

There were women and men seated around a table in the meeting room. The atmosphere wasn't welcoming or warm at all. The temperature was cold despite it been on the summer season. Everyone had a gloomy face if not worry.

Even though this was not the first time the kingdom was attacked, this was the first time they had a lot of casualties, furthermore, they had never seen or experienced what they did today.

"It seems you were right, your mate is indeed special," one of the women said making everyone raise their head.

"What are we going to do next? We have all seen how powerful she is and also the rogues who escaped have. I am sure that they have already reported it to their leader," a man said.

"We have never been cowards before so we can't start now. She is a blessing to us and we all know that even though we get the blessing, we must work extremely hard for it not to be taken away," another said.

"The girl who was hurt reminds me of someone," a woman who had her head lowered spoken for the first time since they walked into the room.

"She is also not so inferior to the other girl," the man beside her who wore a brown hat said making everyone turn their heads to them.

"What do you mean?"

"They are all daughters of the great Elias," the woman answered.

"What!" everyone had a shocked expression.

They had heard his stories but they never expected such a thing.

"Isn't he dead? No, didn't he die thirty years ago?"

"That's what everyone knows but he went into hiding after that battle. Lived among werewolves and disguised himself but everything always have an end. Despite of him been good in hiding, the birth of his kids caused a stir in the world. Twenty five years ago, when every werewolf and lycan felt pain and were forced to bow down by nature, that's when Elana was born. Nineteen years ago, when there was a great cry because of earthquake, the mountains and sea moved and every sick person was healed, that is when Leila was born," the man in a hat said.

"Since it was prophesied, the birth of their children, he knew that he couldn't continue living with his family since it would cause a great danger. He ran away and is still in hiding but the children and Lynnatte continued living among the werewolf. With the help of the greatest witch, they masked their whereabouts but she was killed recently. If I am correct, the moment Leila was shifting. so that's how the rogues found of her whereabouts," the woman explained.

"You mean the reason that Leila didn't have a wolf was because the witch was preventing it?
