Leila's POV.

"Shit, Leila. Aurora do you have a hideout here?' Elana asked panickly.

I really couldn't blame her since I was also panicking. Who wouldn't when you knew the bad guys were coming for you?

"Why? I thought that you were a beta hence a warrior? Why do you want to hide?" Aurora asked with a smile on her face.

"How the hell do you have the time to joke when we are under an attack?" Marcus asked as he stood up while been on guard.

"Cause I don't think that they are stupid enough to come into a room that is full of alphas, betas and gammas," she said.

"That's where you are wrong, they are here to attack the leaders," Marcus told her.

"B...ut...but, why?" she asked.

"They are here for Leila," Elana said.

"What? How do you know?"

"They always attack. They wanted to kidnap her but mom protected her with her life. There is no way they will let her be with her mate," Elana explained and I looked at her since she knew more than I did and I was starting to have questions.

"What? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Aurora asked as she panicked.

The leaders in the room were not panicking since they thought that they were save while been in the hall together with the king and also because they were in the kingdom. Furthermore, the warriors were out fighting.

"Brother," Aurora shouted gaining the attention of everyone as she stood up quickly.

"What is it?" Aiden asked as he took his sister in his arms and looking for injuries since I guess he thought that she was injured.

"There are here for her. Brother, you need to protect her," she said and people were looking at our table with curious eyes.

Aiden looked at me with confusion in his eyes then they flickered as if he remembered something.

"You were seeing when you were shifting," he said and he started panicking.

"What does her shifting have to do with the attack?" the king asked his son.

"I told you that she is a special wolf, dad," Aiden told his father.

"Just because you always said that the moon goddess will grant you with a special and strongest mate that necessarily doesn't mean that she is special," he said.

"Her wolf is unique, dammit," he shouted making everyone stop whatever they were doing and look at him. Soon, there was silent while people turned their gazes on me.

"You mean...."

"Yes dad. I help her with her first shifting and I know," he said more calmly than before.

"So...."

The person talking did not finish his sentence since he fell down because he was shot with an arrow.

"Take positions," Aiden shouted at everyone since we knew that the rogues were already near the hall.

"Eric, Evans and Matteo, protect my mate, the king and the princess with your life," he said as he started shifting making me shout and stop him from doing so.

"No am not ready to lose anyone close to me again because they are trying to protect me," I said.

"Be a good girl and go with him. You can take your sister too. I will be back okay?" he said as he gave me a peck on the forehead reassuring me and making nod my head.

"Leila, Elana, come lets hurry and get out of here quickly," Aurora said as she grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the room.

In front and behind us, there were some warriors surrounding us doing their best.

We walked for some minutes before getting outside through a door which I guess was the back door. Looking at the surrounding which was filled with red paint due to the blood shed.

The cries, the shouting, made me feel guilty. My mind was conflicted with different thoughts of what I should do but I knew that whatever I was thinking was impossible. I saw men fighting with swords, others biting their opponents. A man was running towards a person who had a black mask while shouting but instead of cutting of the enemy's head, he landed on the enemy's swore making him stop and look downwards. I flinched when I saw the scene and held tight on Elana's hand out of fear.

"Come on, let's go," one of the men with us said.

I averted my eyes and looked at the front, as we were running since we didn't have time, a wolf's body was thrown in front of us making us back away and look at the body.

"Wow, wow. Look who we have here," a voice startled us making us turn around and see the owner of the voice.

"They werec so foolish to think that they will run away from us," another said from the opposite direction.

"Her stupid mother had always guide her with the help of the witch."

"Yeah. Don't even remind me that w have been searching for her some years. But after the two old women died, nothing else is on our way," another said.

Looking around us, we realised that we are surrounded. The warriors stepped forward and started fighting the men as I held Aurora and Elana tightly since I didn't know what will happen next.

"Don't be afraid, I won't let them take you. If they have to then I will go with you," Elana said as she embraced me hiding me from seeing what was taking place but which side was better? When people were fighting everywhere?

"I never knew that the warriors of the great kingdom were such weaklings," a guy with a black mask said with a snicker.

"I think when we get things done we should tell Daniel to take over this kingdom and we will be the rulers," a man with a grey mask said.

I was grabbed and I started screaming.

"No, I won't let you take my sister with you. Before you do that you will have to go through me," Elana loud voice was heard as she grabbed my other hand refusing to let me go.

"Look at this bitch. she is just a woman and she thinks that she will be able to stop us?"

"If that's what she wants then I guess we can grant her wish gladly," the man who had just grabbed me said with an evil grin on his lips.

"And me. I am the princess of the kingdom for a reason," Aurora added as she started fighting the man closest to her.

Elana also pecked me on the forehead before letting go of my hand and start fight the man who had grabbed me.

I knew that I had to fight also since this a matter of life and death and I wasn't a weakling since my strength was in par with Elana's. Calming myself, I joined them in the fight. I was shocked to witness that the men were faster than us and I was starting to wonder whether they were really werewolves.

After thirty minutes of fighting, I was exhausted. I wanted to let my wolf out to fight like the rest but it was so risky since I didn't want to add the amount of enemies I have on the list.

"Aaah," I heard Elana's scream making me turn to her direction.

"Nooooooo," I screamed with all my might and I found my vision becoming foggy.

"I can't pass out now." I said inwardly.

I heard screams everywhere and I wondered whether we were all defeated. I didn't want to lose anyone else like I lost mom. Elana is my life and I have to find out how to save myself from them and prevent her from dying.

The ground started shaking making me even more terrified.
