Chapter 128: Chapter 128

Third POV.

The almighty Erebus coward upon hearing the stern angelic yet cold voice.

He looked in the direction and saw Selene and Endymion walk in.

Although he was looking at them, they were looking at Lyannette who was standing beside Erebus as they were shocked to see her there.

“Lyannette, what are you doing here?” Endymion asked cause he felt uncomfortable with her standing next to Endymion.

He felt as if his precious daughter had been snatched away from him.

“I saw guys vanishing and thought you would be in trouble if you didn’t ask the guards to follow you. Cause of that, I was coming to ask dad to help me find where you two were going but upon coming, I found you had been ambushed hence I had to take care of it,” she answered as she ran towards them.

“Mom, are you okay?” she asked as she searched for injuries on her body.

Selene shook her head as she remembered her husband's words. Truly, Lyannette loved her so much.

“Mom, I ask dad to divorce and kill that woman for wanting to kill you. No one can touch even a strand of your hair as long as I am alive,” she said as she hugged her mother happy that she was okay.

She didn’t know what she could do if she lost her. She was the pillar and her life apart from her children.

“I am fine and that will be dealt with later. We need to first save Leila,” Selene said as she embraced her daughter.

“Okay mom,” Lyannette said as she nodded her head and got out of her mother’s embrace.

“Lyannette, is it really true that you have daughters? Why haven’t I heard about them as their grandfather?” he asked as he was so annoyed that he had heard about it from her mother’s servant.

“Didn’t you send Oizys after me? Didn’t she tell you about my kids” Lyannette asked him, making him speechless.

He didn’t need to be reminded that his daughter didn’t tell him about it. She had hidden it from him for more than twenty years. Just thinking of it makes him furious wishing he could summon and punish her! He had sent her there thinking she would feel good that he trusts her but it seems she still blames Lyannette and is still jealous.

“Oh, but how can she tell you? You sent a snake after my own daughter, Erebus yet you still have the guts to claim that you love Lyannette!” Selene said angrily.

She had always wanted to vent her anger on him but she was still afraid of him even after so many years. Now she was led by her anger to do so, she couldn’t let this opportunity slide. Also, she knew that Erebus couldn’t do anything to her as both Endymion and Lyannette were present.

“Oizys can never harm her! She knows that if something happens to Lyannette I will kill her!” Erebus replied angrily but the others chuckled.

“Really seems that your daughter isn’t afraid of death as she even killed Lyannette on earth! Erebus are you stupid or is your brain not working? Why would Lyannette be here with us when her daughter is down there in danger?” Endymion asked coldly as he stared at Erebus to see his expression.

“What? She can’t do that! She can’t!” Erebus replied as he found it hard to believe as Oizys had always been obedient since she was a kid.

“Dad, are you trying to say that I am lying? That we are lying? I thought I was your favorite and your beloved daughter but it seems all that was just a facade!” Lyannette said as she looked at him.

Erebus was made speechless by Lyannette words. He wanted to refute but he knew that he inherited her mothers anger character thus she opted not to.

“If you are the one knowing that your daughter would be in danger, would you continue staying with your family or go save her?” Endymion asked as he felt that Endymion was indeed selfish.

“The latter,” Erebus answered, making Endymion nod his head.

“Now tell me, what other reason do you think that Lyannetteis here instead of trying to save her daughter?” Endymion asked him once more, making Erebus' eyes darkened.

“How many times have I told you that Oizys cannot do such a thing? Also, I don’t believe that she has Lyannette’s daughter in her hands,” Erebus said angrily, making the others speechless as they wondered whether he was supposed to be the one getting angry or them.

“Dad, it seems that everything you say about loving and trusting mom and I the most is just a lie. I will gradually prove you wrong and since I can’t go on earth to deal with Oizys, I will kill all of your offspring, your so-called wife and I will stop acknowledging you as my father,” Lyannette said, disappointment evident in her eyes.

Endymion shook his head as he wondered whether Erebus would have believed him if he had continued with his original plan! If he neither believed Lyannette and Selene, he knew that the old man wouldn't have believed him at all as he didn’t have any evidence on hand apart from the fact that Lyannette wasback here.

Hearing her words, everyone was shocked cause they knew that although Lyannette had darkness, she had never sorted out such methods. They always tend to be forgiving to everyone no matter what they do.

Erebus saw the disappointment in her eyes, causing him to start having doubts and wonder whether Oizys really did as they said. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to believe Lyannette but the fact she had killed his grandson on earth made it impossible for him to trust her fully.

“Mom, can you should him the scene where Oizys has Leila in her hands?” Lyannette asked her mother, pretending not to see the conflicted look at Erebus.

Although she called him dad, it was because he had forced her mother to make her acknowledge him as her father thus she didn’t have any slight affection towards him. If she were asked, she would take revenge for the pain he inflicted on her mother. She hated him so much as he was the one who caused her to be sent on earth. He was the one who wanted her mother’s beloved creation to be wiped out so as her mother can be submissive.

Now that she had the chance to kill his descendant, she surely will then later on kill him so that her mother can never be threatened by anyone ever again!

“Okay,” Selene said before revealing what was really going on with the rogue's pack.

“Aunty, I am afraid of pain! How long are you going to inject me?” Leila said as she cried as soon as she saw Oizys nearing her.

“Can you be brave and stop crying for once? I wonder who took after as Lyannette and Elius have always been so brave,” Oizys said coldly, making Leila flinch and stop crying.

Seeing her younger daughter crying, Lyannette felt pain in her heart.

Although Selene and Endymion also did, they knew that Leila was faking because they knew how strong Leila had become after training for some months.

Erebus was bothered when he saw the scene. Now that the evidence had been provided and he had seen it with his own eyes, he naturally believed it but at the same time couldn’t believe that Oizys could even hurt her own niece.

He could tell that Leila was Lyannette’s daughter and she was Lyannette’s mini version.

“But I am still a child,” Leila said as she pouted, making her look cute yet pitiful because of the tears on her cheek.

The more Erebus watched it, the more uncomfortable he felt.

Lyannette looked at him and chuckled upon seeing his reaction.

“Do you still find it hard to believe that Oizys can harm my kids and I? Dad, you just love yourself so much! You want me to approve of you and live with you but you and your family still treat you like shit. As if we are ants!” Lyanette said coldly, hitting Erebus sore spot.

He still wondered the reason why Oizys was doing that to his precious granddaughter. Although he had just found out about her, he loved and felt the urge of spoiling her as she looked like Selene and Lyannette and he could also sense a strong darkness aura around her. Even without being there or being told, he could tell that she was much stronger than Oizys or she would be once she gets her darkness.

“Go get that woman!” Lyannette shouted as she instructed the guards who had just taken Erebus' wife to the dungeon.

Erebus remained silent as he knew that if he did anything, his daughter would be more dissatisfied with him. He knew that he had made a very big mistake as he knew that all his descendants apart from Lyannette and her kids would die in front of him and there was nothing he would be able to do about it. Thinking about it just made him more angry but what could he really do?

After some minutes, the woman was dragged into the quiet room. Upon seeing Selene not injured, her look became even angry and cursed at her warriors for being so incompetent.

“You are lucky that you survived. It is a pity I failed to kill you. Even if Lyannette is here with you, my daughter was successful in killing her on earth thus there is nothing prohibiting Oizys to wipe out your creation! She will use your strongest granddaughter to do it. Let me ask, how will you feel knowing that your precious creations were killed by your own granddaughter? After Oizys gets what she wants, she will kill your two granddaughters also” she asked with a smirk and a proud look on her face as they had achieved in causing pain on Selene.

No one spoke as they listened to her as if they were uninterested in everything but in reality, they wanted Erebus to hear everything clearly.

Erebus' face turned ugly as he couldn’t believe that they had been plotting against his precious.

“Enough! Truly, you are so evil! I bet everyone that has your blood flowing in the veins is just as sinister as you are!”
