Chapter 112: Chapter 112
Third POV.
Josiah paused what he was watching and looked at her with a frown as he shook his head.
“No, what they are being taught are skills aimed to kill after a few minutes. If we use the light’s tactics, we would kill them, it would just defend ourselves. As you know the light is righteous, holy, pure. It can’t be connected with people’s blood. Thus, most light’s tactics are defending till you tire your enemies but do we really have time, can we really do that?” Josiah explained.
Elana felt a headache when she heard that.
“So you mean it would be useless? Because we already know their techniques thus that can be considered as defending. We don’t need other defending skills, right?” Elana asked after some moments.
“We can still teach both. The warriors aren’t gods thus they can forget the next move. In that moment, one can lose their lives. If we teach them the lights tactics, when one tends to not predict the enemies next move or forgets but can remember any light’s tactics, he will be able to save his life and tire the enemy before giving the enemy the final blow,” Josiah siad making Elana nod her head in understanding.
“So we will teach both of them after words come up with other techniques to attack and kill,” Elana said but her eyes were gloomy as she felt that they would be wasting a lot of time.
For her, a person with darkness inside and has no deep connections with the warriors , she didn’t feel any sympathy on whether they would lose their lives or not. Also, she did blame them for all these cause she and her sister wouldn’t be suffering if it weren’t for trying to save them.
After sometime, her eyes shone as something closed her eyes.
“Actually, now that I think about it, knowing their skills can’t necessarily be called defence as one can use the enemies skills to kill them. For example, if one attacks, you will defend and when you get an opportunity, you can use another skill aimed to kill immediately, after all, didn’t you say that most of their skills are aimed to kill?” Elana said seriously.
Josiah looked at her immediately with his eyes full of adoration. He had only seen it as defence skills to their warriors but after listening to her words, he found that what she had said made sense.
“Yes, I think we can also do it as you have said,” he answered.
“If that’s the case, then we can use both the darkness and light tactics. No need to add others,” she said, making Josiah’s eyes turn dark.
He could tell that what she cared was defeating the enemy not the warriors life. He knew that all this was Aiden’s fault since Elana had always been concerned about everyone’s life regardless of who they are.
“No, we need to add more. Better safe than sorry. Also if your grandmother finds out that you had an opportunity to defeat the enemies without warriors dying, she will be mad at you. Guess I shouldn’t forget how she is when she is angry,” Josiah said as he hoped he would listen to him.
As long as he could convince Elana, Leila will also surely do what he has said but if he fails in doing so, he won’t be able to save people’s life.
“Do you think I am afraid of her? Amaya now has full control, something that even mom never did. Do you think we can still save Leila? It is all her fault. I am sure that after this Leila may end up going to live with our biological grandfather and you know how much I love my sister thus I can also follow her. Grandmother had already lost us. Also, you shouldn’t worry so much, the rogues are the ones who will die, not us. We got a plan,” Elana said with a smirk as she recalled her grandfather’s plan.
Jason was confused and he gave her a questioning look.
“I know that you are curious but there is no way I am going to tell you. You aren’t trustworthy! How am I sure that you won’t betray us or go tell my grandfather or your so-called master? There is no way I am going to take any risk,” Elana said as she shook her head, causing Josiah to have a headache.
“How do you expect me to be on your side and help you if you don’t tell me your plans?” he asked.
“No, you should just give up since I won’t tell you anything. Just do what you are supposed to do,” Elana said coldly as they neared the warriors chamber.
Josiah shook his head as he found her more stubborn and difficult than usually.
“Elana, please let us come with our techniques. I know that you have communicated with the warriors. You have seen how dedicated they are, are you going to let them die in the battlefield just to win? Don’t you see it is like you are sacrificing their lives for the sake of winning?” Josiah didn’t stop trying to make her change her plans cause it was too risky.
“What’s so wrong about it? Won’t it be a great honor for them dying to save their goddess creation? Every warrior is supposed to be prepared to die in wars, I can’t see why you are making a big fuss over it,” Elaine voiced out.
She didn’t know how to love and if there was someone she loved that was her own sister, Amaya .
Josiah let out a deep sigh as he was at the edge of giving up.
“Do you think they will be willing to help you if they find out what you are planning?”
Elana chuckled as she wondered why he was so stupid when people knew him for his wisdom.
“Do they really have a choice? Leila and I are just helping out. We can opt to go back home where we really belong. I am sure mom will be happy to welcome us. When we do, all of them will be wiped out. Furthermore, if they aren’t willing, can't I mind control them and force them to do what I want?” Elaine asked with a wicked smile.
“Please think this through. I know there is some kindness in you,” Josiah said in a low tone as he was afraid of Elaine.
“What’s wrong with you? As I said, they won’t lose their lives,” Elana told him angrily as she found him so noisy and stupid because if she really didn’t want to save them, she wouldn’t be trying her best to come up with strategies.
“How sure are you? Are you depending on just that plan? Shouldn’t we have a plan B?”
