It was once said that the blood moon is a sign of war and impending danger for the vampires but that was a long time ago. Now, the blood moon means a lot to us. For our kind of vampires, It is a rare time and opportunity, which happens once in a century. A time of great and rare powers. And whosoever gives birth during this time, is said to be blessed by the moon goddess. All vampires around the world, usually gather to celebrate this. You get to meet your distant uncles and aunties.

It was on this rare occasion that I was born. Mom told me, she was just seven months gone and had no idea she will give birth soon. So you can call me premature. As usual, everyone gathered together to celebrate the blood moon. Mom said she was extremely vibrant that day. Despite being despised by her family, for getting pregnant as a werewolf. She was happy she had me. Although mom was a princess, she was still despised, having a hybrid for a child.

Mom told me, I was born with numerous and strange power, being a hybrid from a werewolf-vampire parent, and also born during the blood moon. Growing up, was kind of difficult for me. Having to deal with my powers and the hate from some vampires who are jealous that I was born special, I grew up to be brutal and coldhearted. Mom had to run away with me until I was sixteen. Mom returned to her people, after the death of her father to become the next queen, being the only child.

My dad's death and denial from the werewolves added to my brutality. I was also hunted for fear that I'll be the most powerful supernatural. Mom has tried all she could to make me a better person but I am who I am and can not be changed easily. I am Damien Walker, the heir to the Vampire's throne and the next Alpha of the Island pack.
