Chapter 134: Chapter 134

SONG MOONHO watched as Graham caught Hwang Yejun just before the latter hit the ground.

And then his gaze fell back on the little boy with a strange tangerine head costume.

He was shocked when the little boy ran upwards as if there was an invisible staircase in the air.

Then, after that, the little boy grabbed Hunter Lee Seodam’s body.

Much to Song Moonho’s surprise, the little boy threw Hunter Lee Seodam’s body to the ground.

[It looks like he’s unconscious.]

The impact was so strong that it created a small crater.

Surprisingly, Hunter Lee Seodam’s body survived in one piece even though he fell flat on his face. It was probably because of the strange black fog that covered his body.

The strange fog was starting to take a form.

Soon, a silhouette of a tall man with long limbs emerged from Hunter Lee Seodam’s back.

Moonho finally realized why Hunter Lee Seodam answered Hwang Yejun’s question the way he did earlier.

[Hunter Lee Seodam was possessed by something sinister.] This update is available on novelꞁire.net

"HUNTER DO AHYEON!" the little boy with a tangerine head costume yelled. "TRAP THAT VIRUS USING YOUR SHIELD!"

Moonho was curious about that, but he got distracted when Hunter Do Ahyeon raised his hands and created a barrier shaped like a bubble.

The barrier moved swiftly to capture the ’virus.’

However, Hunter Do Ahyeon’s (at least) S-Grade barrier broke into hundreds of pieces before it even touched the ’virus’ that looked like a man with long limbs.

Do Ahyeon went pale after his attack failed. "I-I’m so s-sorry for b-being w-weak!"

"DON’T APOLOGIZE!" the little boy, who was shooting up to the sky. "YOU’RE NOT WEAK, HUNTER DO AHYEON! THAT THING IS JUST TOO STRONG FOR EVERYONE HERE!"

[That thing is that dangerous?]

The ’virus’ then moved and raised its long arm in an attempt to catch the little boy suspended in the air.

But Jang Semi suddenly threw a thing that looked like a grenade.

And it did explode when it hit the arm of the ’virus.’

[So, the ’fog’ has turned solid?]

After the grenade exploded, the shell remained suspended in the air while some green and toxic-looking liquid came pouring out.

Ah, it seemed like the target of the attack was Hunter Lee Seodam?

Moonho looked at Jang Semi curiously. "Noona, are you trying to kill the poor hunter who got possessed by that thing?"

"That won’t kill him. He’ll just be in pain," Jang Semi said casually. "I don’t care if he was possessed or not. He was still the one who pushed Hee-ya."

Unfortunately for Jang Semi, the ’virus’ used a murky-looking bubble to catch the green liquid that she tried to pour on Hunter Lee Seodam.

[So, that thing is protecting Hunter Lee Seodam’s body?]

That was the sound of Yeon Soobin shooting the ’virus’ with his gun.

But every single bullet that came out of Yeon Soobin’s gun was blocked by little murky bubbles.

[That thing is tough.]

Moonho attacked next since he couldn’t just stay still while Yeon Soobin– the honorary member of the Big 4– was busy shooting at the ’virus.’ He commanded the skeleton hands to grab the thing’s body so that it couldn’t avoid the others’ attack.

Graham, after putting the unconscious Hwang Yejun in a safe place, joined the fray.

[But... how should I say this?]

All their attacks weren’t connecting.

None of it could go past that thing’s invisible barrier.

So, even though Moonho had restricted the enemy’s movements, it was useless.

For the first time in a while, the Big 4 looked like a bunch of rookies in front of new enemy.

[Is it really wise to put Hwang Frost out of commission when he’s our tank?]

The little boy with a strange tangerine head costume finally came back in the middle of the fight.

[Is that a butterfly net?]

Yes, the strange little boy was holding a butterfly net while free-falling.

[What’s that thing gonna do?]

Moonho was stood corrected right away, though.

When the little boy with a tangerine head costume swung the butterfly net, the ’virus’ let out a deafening groan while getting sucked into the net.

The ’virus’ started to disintegrate, and each ’particle’ falling from it started to look like pixels.

That got Moonho thinking.

[So, when the child called that thing a ’virus,’ did he mean computer virus?]

"EVERYONE!" the little boy with a tangerine head costume yelled loudly. "CLOSE YOUR EYES IF YOU DON’T WANT TO GET BLIND!"

It was because the virus soon exploded in a blinding light.

Of course, Moonho closed his eyes because he didn’t want to go blind.

YOOL had a bad feeling.

He went back to the hotel where he was currently checked in last night because he didn’t want to sleep in the Blue House.

Of course, he wanted to stay with Ahyeon.

However, Song Moonho’s presence irked him.

[That ahjussi kept talking about wanting to have me as his Guide when Meguro Shun was there.]

Yool felt offended for the poor Guide, so he walked out on Song Moonho.

[Yeon Soobin and Jang Semi promised to keep an eye on Ahyeonnie, thankfully.]

Anyway, Yool was supposed to visit Ahyeon at the Blue House first thing in the morning.

But a variable appeared.

"Please consider this offer, Yool-ssi!"

The one begging Yool earnestly was Kang Byung-ho– the original Gong Yool’s manager back when the latter was still an active idol.

Kang Byung-ho just appeared in front of Yool’s hotel room.

And, so, he dragged his former manager to the hotel’s café to talk.

[Apparently, people were gossiping about me being Song Moonho’s "mistress" because they saw me here with that old man plenty of times. So, Kang Byung-ho bribed a hotel staff to find out where I am.]

Of course, Yool was planning to snitch on Song Moonho later.

[He should get rid of employees with mouths that are easy to open.]

"Yool-ssi, you’re not listening, are you?"

"Sorry, Hyung," Yool said, addressing the former manager like how the original Gong Yool did. "What were you saying again? An offer came for me? But why did they send the offer to my former agency?"

"Well, not ’former’ agency since you’re still technically signed with us..."

[I didn’t have the money back then to breach the contract and leave the agency. But I did threaten the CEO so he wouldn’t give me a job.]

Chu Wonhee offered to buy his contract, but he refused.

[That child has too much money to burn, but I don’t like feeling indebted to my friends.]

"So, what was the offer?"

[Might as well listen to it since I’ve already wasted my time here.]

Kang Byung-ho’s face beamed before he shared the good news (apparently). "Singer Maru wants to feature you in his new single!"

Yool almost choked on his coffee. "Manu... as in Maru the Man?"

"Yes, him!" Kang Byung-ho said excitedly. "He needs a rapper for his new song – and you’re a great rapper, Yool-ssi."

Well, that was Gong Yool.

[I was the main vocal and a lead dancer back when I was Ong Yool...]

But, of course, rapping was something he was also trained for as a top idol in his world.

[To simply put, I was actually an all-rounder.]

"The offer also states that you’re free to make your own lyrics for your rap part," Kang Byung-ho said enthusiastically. "What do you think, Yool-ssi?"

He was about to tell his former manager to calm down.

And that was when he received a phone call from Ahyeon.

[He’s already awake.]

Yool immediately answered the call. "Ahyeonnie–"

<"Hyung, that jerk Lee Seodam pushed Wony Noona into a Crack-like portal!">

"YOU SAY we’ll only get out of here when hell freezes over?" Wonhee asked Bitna. When her new friend nodded, she smiled. "Then we’ll definitely get out of here."

Bitna raised an eyebrow at her. "And what makes you confident?"

"Hwang Yejun would freeze the entire world if he had to just to get me out of here."

"Is that the power of love?"

"I don’t know if it’s because of love or just obsession, but I’m sure Yejun wouldn’t be able to live without me," Wonhee said. She wasn’t bragging– she was just stating a fact. "So, I’m sure that he’ll do anything to find me. My family, too."

"Oh, I see," Bitna said, obviously not interested. "Anyway, are you hungry? Thirsty? I have food at my beach house."

Bitna nodded, and then she pointed at the beach house near the ocean.

[That beach house...]

Wonhee clutched her head tight when she felt an incoming splitting headache coming her way. "That beach house..."

"What about it?" Bitna asked, smiling as if she knew something that Wonhee should know as well. "Does the beach house look familiar to you, Chu Wonhee?"

Yejun woke up to an unpleasant feeling of someone holding his hand.

The touch felt like hundreds of needles poking into his skin.

Hence, he was in a bad mood as soon as he opened his eyes...

... and he resorted to violence as a result.

"Stop it," Yejun said, almost twisting the hand of the person trying to Guide him. If he didn’t recognize the woman, he would have broken her arm already. "Kim Bora?"

"Yes, it’s me," Kim Bora said, obviously having difficulties speaking while Yejun was slightly twisting her arm. "Let go, you lunatic."
