I smirked as I made my way to her house. It is so good that the media never surrounds me. All because of my security. I know by now Lara must have done her work. Ashley must be quite broken. And if she isn’t, I am here! I will support her!
I smirked more as my plan seemed to work. I rang the doorbell of her house.
The door opened and it was Ashley.
“Why-why are you here?”
I closed the door and sighed. “Won’t you welcome me?” I looked around to see lara.
“You are not welcomed here” she retaliated.
I went inside. “Hello, I am the CEO of Brown’s association” I smirked at Lara.
She looked at me scared. “H-Hello”
“You don’t need to be nervous,” I sat down myself. “Ms. Lara”
She nodded hesitantly and the smirk never left my face. Ash came to me. “You know what, get out”
“ah don’t humiliate me in front of my fan”
“Fan!?”
I looked at Lara and she looked at her too. Lara’s eyes widened. “Aren’t you my fan, Ms. Lara?”
“Uh-uh… I-I am…”
“see” I looked at Ash. “Now you can’t bring trivial matters here when your sister wants to see me”
“She already saw you, now you can go”
“You want me to stay, don’t you?” I looked at her again and she just glared at me. I laughed.
“See, you are putting your sister in a difficult situation. She wants me to stay but she doesn’t wanna go against you. Come on, be mature and lets not let your personal matters hamper your sister’s wishes”
“Huh” She went and sat beside Lara. I was sitting across them.
“What’s that file?” I deliberately asked. It was kept near the couch.
“Uh…” Ashley scoffed. “Doesn’t concern you”
I got up and took the file. She came to me. “hey! Give it back!”
“Nah”
I opened the file but she snathed it from me. I took it from her and got a hold of her hand. She looked at me. “You better not take it”
“But--”
“Shh”
She looked at me with a troubled face and I opened the file. I read it and gave it back to her. I laughed shortly. “You love him?”
“He is… that file is wrong!”
“It is not wrong”
“What?”
“I know that about him already. That’s why he is called a monster”
“But he--”
“Whatever you see of him, it is just an act put up”
“Uh…”
“I can help you”
“Oh why would you and how?”
“We can make a plan”
“But why would you do it?”
“Because I want to expose him!”

I sighed. I don’t know if I should do this. Maybe I am betraying him in this way? Maybe he will think that I did not even trust him.
but… it isn’t about trust. He never, like, told me he never touched girls or something like that. Maybe… I will regret not doing this.
“What are you thinking?” I heard him.
“Uh…” I sighed. “I don’t know--”
“Ms. Lara, what do you think?”
Lara glared at him again. I feel something suspicious. “I don’t know”
“Oh…” he sighed. “You should”
“Uh… maybe he is right,” she looked at me. “You should know the truth”
I sighed. I don’t know, dude. I don’t wanna make any misunderstandings between us but they are right too. I know this file may hold something. I mean, I don’t believe anything Chris says but he seemed to be sure too. I don’t think this is a coincidence that both of them are so confident about this.
“Uh… okay… I am ready” I finally said.
Chris smiled. “Yeah”
“So do you have a plan?” I asked him.
“Um…” he looked sideways. “Well, yeah”
“What’s it?”
“Well, I think that you will only believe this if he says it himself” he started. “So, I have a plan that will make him tell the truth. As I said, the truth”
“Okay, what's the plan then?” I repeated my question.
“We will force the information out of him”
“WHAT” I almost yelled. “This is your fucking plan!?”
“Calm down!” He kept a hand on my shoulder.
I got away. “and how exactly will this happen?” I asked him.
“We will show him as if we are together--”
“Change the plan” I interrupted him. Does he really think I am gonna do that? To Vincent?
“At least listen or I’ll just go if you are gonna show this much of attitude. I mean, I am helping you! I don’t fucking care about your love life!”
I looked at him and sighed. He was right. However he is, he is helping me this time.
“Okay… uh… complete your sentence”
“Yeah, so” he sighed. “Yea, then we will show him as if we are together and that we know what his reality is. And if he lies to you, then he will lose you forever. That way, he will tell the truth”
“And what if he did nothing? What if there is no reality of him?”
He sighed. “Then we will tell him that someone gave us endless proof regarding this so we had to clear things up. If he loved you that much, he will understand. Or we can say it was a prank. or maybe we will think of something better. There are endless things possible”
I nodded. I think the plan will work but I don’t know if I am doing the right thing. Maybe this can come between our relationship but honestly, I wanna know the truth. The file seems legit, and having Lara support is something real.
“So when do we start?” I heard him.
“Let’s see. Not now. Now, Vincent is fighting with someone for me. Let him come home. Everything will be settled, and then we will start our plan. Okay?”
“Okay”
I nodded and he smiled. “Then I will leave now”
“Sure”
He turned around. “If this isn’t anything bad,” I said, and he turned towards me. “Then thanks, Chris”
“You’re welcome”
I nodded and he looked at Lara. “See you again, Ms. Lara”
“See ya”
He smiled at her and she returned the smile. He went out and I sighed. “Oh I wonder what’s gonna happen now”
“Truth” she smiled and went to the kitchen and I followed her as I remembered that our cake must’ve been ready by now.
