Chapter 15: Chapter 15
Fifteen
"It is good. I got a well job even though it's not in the field I'm studying, but I'm very happy to be working here," said Karin. Silvi nodded and smiled happily.
"As long as you like the job, then no problem," said Silvi. Karin nodded with a smile. She deliberately didn't tell Silvi about the work she did and where she id worked.
She didn't want to make Silvi worried. Especially she didn't want Silvi to know that she got the job from Nana. Silvi always said Nana had gone the wrong way and she didn't want to be friends with such a person, but Karin doesn't care to that and still thinks Nana is also her friend.

The sound of loud music in the bar made Karin feel like she couldn't hear anything. Not to mention the smell of cigarette smoke mixed with liquor which made her dizzy and almost breathless.
"Miss, come on, Miss, accompany me to drink," a man asked Karin while tugging at the girl's hand. That man seemed to have been a little drunk.
"Sorry sir, I can't. I still have work to do," Karin said as she tried to pull her hand away. The man laughed and kept holding Karin's hand tightly.
"Miss, don't you know? Accompanying guests to drink is also part of the job. Look at this money. This all for you," said that man while slamming some money on the table in front of Karin.
"I will pay you very much if you accompany me to drink."
"I... I can't!" said Karin.
"You are very much. You are pay so high for yourself. You are just cheap like another woman in here !" snapped that man and raised his hand ready to slap Karin.
"Master, Master," interrupted Nana who came closer and immediately prevented it.
"Master San, forgive her, Master, she's new, so she don't really know much about the job in this place."
The man named Mr. San was silent for a moment then lowered his hand and nodded.
"Fine, I forgive her this time, but if I ever come here again, she must be willing to accompany me."
"Of course, you don't be worry. I'll teach her well so that when you come here again she won't let you down like she did now."
Nana and Karin were about to leave, but that man called again,
"wait a moment!" Nana and Karin stopped walking and saw the man pouring the beer into the glass. He then handed the drink to Karin.
"Drink this, then I will truly forgive you!"
Karin just stared silently. She saw Nana who nodded, gesturing for Karin to drink that beer. The men's friends laughed at her. They also cheered and encouraged her to drink that beer. Hesitantly, Karin's hand reached out and grabbed the drinking glass. It wasn't long before she vomit it to the toilet.

"Our job is like this. If you feel you can't stand it, you can just go out," said Nana who led Karin to the bathroom.
The girl was vomiting in the toilet. Not long after, Karin came out of the toilet cubicle.
"What I mean by pleasing guests is to comply with their every whim," said Nana. Karin turned on the tap and washed her face and mouth with water. She then leaned against the bathroom wall because her head was dizzy. She's also still a little nauseous.
"So how? You still want to do it? No one is forcing you to stay here," said Nana.
"I'll do it anyway," Karin replied in a weak voice while nodding.

It was already early in the morning when Karin came home from work. She slowly opened the door and walked with a slight stagger because her head was still dizzy. Then she rushed into the room. Without realizing it, Silvi had woken up and saw everything from behind her bedroom door.
'What is Karin's job actually? Why is she like that?' She muttered to herself.
It was already noon when Karin got up and walked to the kitchen. She saw Silvi was sitting watching her every move.
"What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?" asked Karin who had finished filling the instant ramen cup with hot water and brought it back to the table.
"What are you actually doing?" Silvi asked.
"It's nothing, just an ordinary job like you do," Karin replied with a smile. Silvi didn't smile at all. Her eyes were still fixed on Karin with a probing look.
"Then why when you came home? You seemed drunk?" Silvi asked again. Karin choked and coughed for a moment, making Silvi look even more suspicious. She was sure that her friend was hiding something, but as a friend, she knew very well Karin's character, it was useless if she kept pushing, Karin wouldn't tell her.

"Do you really think I can come back?" Vian asked while applying for an audition for a role in a drama.
The companion who escorted him shook his head.
"If you really want to go back, why turn down Cindy's offer?"
Vian who replaced shook his head.
"I could not do such a sly way just to get back what I want," he said.
"I don't love her. I can't lie for something like that for my own sake. Cindy is a nice girl, I know she made such an good offer for me, but that's precisely why I can't lie and hurt her."
His partner smiled and patted Vian's shoulder after hearing the man's words.
"You're a good man, Vian. I'm sure you'll be able to come back."
Vian nodded his thanks and smiled.
"Oh yeah, if you pass the audition and go back to working as an actor, how about that cafeteria?" asked the colleague again.
Vivian smiled a little.
"The cafeteria will be managed by the person who has given her whole heart to the place."

Vian knew he couldn't reach Karin. They had made a promise, once the cafeteria was set up, the grudge would be over and they wouldn't need to meet again.
However, he still wanted to contact the girl. At least to leave the cafeteria management to her. Vian hesitated for a moment, what if Karin refused to take calls from him. He closed his eyes and took a slow breath. Immediately he then called the girl's cell phone before changing his mind.
"Hello, Karin," said Vian when he received a phone call. However, there was no answer. Only the loud sound of loud music could be heard. Vian looked back at the cell phone to make sure he didn't call the wrong number, but it was true that it was Karin's number.
'Karin, what happened? Where are you?' asked the worried Vian. Moments later, he ended the phone call. He then immediately called Silvi. Karin's friend picked up a few minutes after the dial tone was heard for a number of times.
"Silvi, what happened to Karin? Where is she now?" Vian asked without wasting time.
