Chapter 20: Chapter 20

Minutes passed, but Ella was still standing in front of Blaze's house. She was afraid of seeing him. She bit her lower lips until she can feel blood on them and stared at the door, contemplating whether to knock or not.

"When will you enter the house? Let's go," Caleb said. Ella felt like she was about to vomit. She couldn't face Blaze. Ella turned back and walked back to the car when Caleb grabbed her hand and open the door to Blaze's house. She panicked and removed Caleb's hand from her, she wanted to run away, but it was too late. A woman in her mid-forties walked towards them. Ella was stunned. In her mid-forties, Candice still has the look of a teenager. Beautiful and elegant.

"Is she the one, Caleb?" Candice asked. Caleb nodded his head. Candice's tears started streaming down her face, and she quickly grabbed Ella to hug her tight.

Confused and baffled at the same time, Ella hugged Candice back.

"Please help my son. Bring him back to us," Candice said. And it struck Ella. The woman hugging her right now was none other than Blaze's mother. She sniffled a sobbed and nodded her head.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Ella mumbled while sobbing. Candice faced her and smiled at her. She touched Ella's face and shook her head.

"I understand you, dear. I do," Candice said. "He's in his room upstairs. The one with the blue door. You can go to him," she added. Ella glanced around and saw Blaze's room. She nodded her head and started walking to where Blaze is.

"By the way, Ella, my name is Candice. You can call me Mom," Candice said and grinned. It brought unexplainable emotions to Ella, and all she did was smile back at Candice. Ella was trembling non-stop when she was finally in front of Blaze's room. She slowly turned the knob and push the door open.

Ella's heart broke when she saw Blaze. He was lying on the bed; his eyes were covered by a pillow. She looked around and saw the mess he had made. There were broken vases on the ground, and there were scattered bottles of alcohol drinks anywhere. The windows and chairs were also damaged.

"I told you not to disturb me right!? Can't you fucking understand!?" Blaze shouted and throw the pillow that hit the wall.

"Blaze," Ella called. Blaze suddenly sat up and looked in her way. His eyes were full of emotions. He slowly got up on the bed and walked towards her. It broke Ella's heart seeing Blaze cry.

"Fuck! I'm hallucinating again," Blaze said, half crying and half laughing.

"Hey! This is real. I am real," Ella said and cupped his face. "You're not hallucinating baby," she added while sobbing.

"You're real and you're here? I'm not hallucinating?" Blaze asked one by one, his tears still streaming down his beautiful eyes. Ella nodded her head. She couldn't take what's happening to Blaze. It was devastating. She didn't know he'd be this hurt.

"Oh god!" Blaze mumbled and showered Ella's face with little kisses. He hugged her tightly like he was afraid Ella would suddenly vanish if he'd let go of her.

"I'm sorry, b-baby," Blaze stuttered. "I should have told you from the start…please, forgive me. I can't live without you. Come back to me," Blaze begged, and what he did next shocked Ella. He kneeled in front of her while holding her hands.

"I l-love you, Ella…please, come back," Blaze mumbled.

"Blaze, stand up!" Ella said, raising her voice and tried helping Blaze but he remained kneeling on the ground. Ella wept, the man he loves pitiful begged for her forgiveness.

"It should be who s-should apologize," Ella began. "I'm sorry for calling you a monster," she added. Ella felt Blaze flinch.

"That n-night I saw you transformed, I was scared," Ella said and sniffed. "I know I hurt but I didn't mean that. You are not a monster, Blaze. Look at me," she added and touched his face. Ella stared straight into the depths of his eyes and spoke.

"I love you, Blaze."

"You love me?" Blaze asked, dumbfounded. Ella nodded her head and wiped the tears on her face.

"Say it again," Blaze said and got up.

"I love you," Ella said while blushing. Blaze leaned closer and huskily whispered in her ear.

"Louder. Say it again, sweetie."

I love you, Blaze! I love you! I love you!" Ella said while huffing. "Are you happy now?" she added. Blaze's smile widened.

"Very much, baby. You've made me happy," Blaze uttered and began stroking Ella's cheeks lightly, sending volts of electricity in her body. She suddenly closed her eyes before she knew it, their lips collided. Blaze kissed her softly and passionately. She wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back.

Ella's stomach churned, and she felt dizzy because of the fantastic sensation she feeling right now. Blaze moved his hands to her waist and grip it tightly. He then lifted her to straddle him. They were panting heavily after the kiss. Ella blushed and covered her face while Blaze laugh. He put her down on the bed and kissed the top of her head.

"Can I see you in…your wolf form?" Ella asked.

"Are you sure?" Blaze asked back.

"You won't bite or attack me right?" Ella asked.

"No! I wouldn't do that to you, sweetie," Blaze said. He would never harm Ella.

"Then it's alright. Let me see your wolf," Ella said, determined to see Blaze transform. He sighed and nodded his head; Blaze took off his shirt and stared at her. His muscle is changing. Ella could hear bones snapping and cracking, then there was a huge brown wolf in front of her. Her Blaze. She got up and slowly approached him, touching his head.

"Beautiful," Ella murmured against his soft fur. He purred and licked her face.

"Okay Blaze...stop! We need to talk," Ella said. Blaze transformed back to his human form. Ella's eyes widened when Blaze was naked. She yelled and quickly covered her eyes with her hands and heard Blaze chuckle.

"Blaze, it's not funny! Go and get dressed!" Ella ordered.

"Done," Blaze said. He sat in the bed and pulled Ella. They were staring at the wall in front of them. Observing the surroundings and waiting for the first one to break the silence.

"Let me explain,"

"I need an explanation,"

They both said in unison. Blaze took her hand, and he intertwined it in his hands.

"I will explain everything but I need you to promise me that you will never leave me again," Blaze seriously said.

"I promise," Ella answered. Even if Blaze wouldn't say it, she will not leave him again. "Well then, here's my story..."
